A wonderful family place for Greek food in Chester! Service is prompt and friendly. Multiple team members take great care of you and provide superior customer service. I have been to Bell Greek multiple times and have been well pleased. The quality of food and service is consistently top notch. I have a healthy appetite and usually take some food home with me. My Santorini Platter was loaded with lamb. The chicken and beef Souvlaki was tender and flavorful. If you don't save room for dessert, be sure to take some home-made desserts and pastries to enjoy at home.

Friday dinner. They were moderately busy but seated us promptly. Server was friendly. My biggest critique is the menu font size & the fact they didn't have another option. Menu has plenty of white space to have a print size accommodating to all. That aside, the food was great. Lamb gyro had tons of flavor (& was huge). Falafel was hot & flavorful but a little dry & commercial tasting. Service alone is worth coming in for. Looking forward to our dessert to go.

I'm a bit on the fence about this restaurant. I've only ordered here once for spaghetti and meatballs because I had hankering for it. I ordered it for takeaway and picked it up on my way to work. It took a minute to have my food ready, but they seemed quite busy so that might be why. They had a lot of people coming in and out for dine in. The lady at the hostess podium was really friendly, though. I ordered baked spaghetti with meatballs. The portion is generous for a lunch. It tasted okay, very generic taste. It's definitely best hot and fresh. Overall, it's okay. I'd love to try other items on their menu in the future.

It's been a while since we've been here so we were in the area and decided to hit it up again for lunch. This did not hit the spot for us. Something has changed not for the better. The interior is the same as remembered. Service was average. The food was the disappointment. My wife ordered Greek Gyro Bowl (chicken). My son and I got the Chicken Gyro. The protein was over saturated. The bowl was soupy and both Gyro's were the same. As a result the pita's were soggy. For the money it was disappointing.

Decided to give this place a second try, and I'm still on the fence about it. The gyros are still delicious. The moussaka is okay, the green beans are... something. I wish it had more description other than just "Yahni" Green Beans. We were not a fan. Apparently it means seasonings, tomatoes and onions. Love green beans normally, but definitely would have opted out of these had I known what they were. We also ordered Saganaki, thinking it would be like cheese dip. Can't really fault something for not being my personal taste, but it was AWFUL. It is what was advertised, oven baked cheese or something to that effect, but it smelled awful, tasted worse, and cost about as much as my gyro. I didn't realize that oven baked Asiago cheese is apparently waaaaaaaaaaay more pungent than the stuff you buy in the store or that they mix together at pizza places. It was so greasy and oily and smelled terrible. Again, no stars deducted, just a heads up. The service was hit or miss. We were "greeted" with a "sit wherever you want except __________" but she never turned to look at us, so we don't actually know what she said... Presumably, we were fine where we were since they never said anything. They were very "jump in and help when you can" type of service people, which I'm of two minds about, because the service seems really disjointed. You never see the same person twice in a row, one person brings my drink refill, a different person brings my brothers, first person brings the appetizer, a different person takes it away... Makes it awkward to tip, I feel. I hope they pool tips. I do REALLY appreciate though that they always send a "free kids meal" coupon home with my kids when they do well on their report cards, so that definitely earns them so goodwill in my book. I'll probably be back, but only for the gyros and for my kids to feel special for their schoolwork.

When trying to find a place to dine while visiting the state, we came across Bell Greek. Bell Greek is as the other reviews state, solid Greek food! We started out meal with the Greek Fries platter. How does it compare to other Greek places I've been? Slaughters them. The fries are amazing, topped with tomatoes, feta and tzatziki, these fries are a Mediterranean masterpiece! Now we get to the gyro platter. Also delicious. The lamb was very tender and juicy, the rice was also good. The pita bread was warm and fluffy but the beans for me is where we fall out a bit. They weren't bad but I didn't like them. Everyone has their taste but to me, the beans just weren't a winning side. As for the restaurant as a whole, the staff was very kind and polite. The ambience though is strange as if it doesn't know what it wants to be. There are diner style table cloths with Greek paintings and dangling lights in the windows. Overall, I can recommend Bell Greek if you want a solid honest to goodness meal.

While doing some work one day in Chesterfield, I stopped in here for lunch. I love good Mediterranean food and the menu here looked very appetizing to me. Service was great, the place is clean and comfy, the menu is loaded with good eats too! Our server promptly came to the table after we sat down. Started with their tzatziki appetizer, which was excellent! The yogurt was thick and very flavorful. The veggies that came with it were fresh and the pita slices were warm. For my entrée I opted for their larger Greek Salad with chicken souvlaki. The chicken came as kebabs on skewers, it was marinated in something yummy and grilled to order. That chicken was very flavorful and tender! The salad was loaded with lots of great, fresh veggies, but the scoops of feta on top were a very nice addition. Dressing was good too. Overall - Great food, I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area next!

The food was delicious and our waiter (the manager Johnny) was the kindest and most helpful waiter I've ever had. She really made the whole experience great!! It's a cozy spot. I will definitely come back!

The staff was extremely kind, shout to Jonnie for her extraordinary performance and customer service, she is by far one of the best waitresses I've encountered. The environment was calm and the dinning area was impeccable. The food was quite delectable. Also shout out Kirk he works hard back in the kitchen and he cooks everything perfectly. Over all I highly recommend coming to bell Greek next time you want to enjoy a hearty meal. #BELLGREEKBESTGREEK

Chicken Souvlaki Platter, Greek lasagna

Fantastic Service! I was here for the very first time, was recommended the souvlaki and lasagna. We also started with dolmades. Simply delicious, NO regrets! The ambiance is very clean and family-like. We also left GREAT DEALS FOR LUNCH! Def coming back when I'm on this side of town!!!

This is a great family run business. The food is tasty, the desserts are divine. I highly recommend the Pikila Platter I it is vegetarian and so filling. Also, do not skip out on dessert, order the giant baklava! Kids eat free on Wednesday's.

My new favorite when visiting the area and I've been driving by this place for months but never took the time to stop by because it always appears closed when passing by. I finally took a good look at the menu and called an order in for the shrimp pita and Greek salad which was delicious and I came back the next day for the salmon pita and salad and again so good. I love that they can pull your order from the previous visit including any modifications. I've been missing out.

They had gluten free options and a very nice staff. I would say it's a mid-grade eating experience and not bad for the money.

We had some saganaki as an appetizer, and it was PERFECT! I highly recommend it for anyone trying this place out! For entrees, I got the Dolmades, and Dad got the Pasta Kotopuolo. My domades blew me away, and Dad got his first taste of Greek food in a few good years and he said he loved it! I got a few bites of his too, and I swear I died and went to heaven, it was too good! We also got some Greek lemon potatoes, and any chance to have potatoes is a good day! Pretty good portion sizes with everything, too! We also got my little cousin a gyro to go, and it DID NOT disappoint! The place was very fancy-looking, and had Greek music playing throughout the restaurant, so it really felt very cool and interesting! We met the owner(?), and she was very kind, and assured me about my nut allergy right off the bat Our server, kim, was very attentive, and made sure everything was absolutely 100% perfect before anything If I'm ever in Williamsburg again, im stopping by! 10/10

We ordered scordalia (Greek penicillin) as our appetizer and it came with Pita. It was a large portion and had good flavors of garlic and lemon. One of the specials of the day was the boneless marinated leg of lamb ( Arniso Boutaki Me Meli). My wife and I both ordered it and boy were we disappointed. It came with seasonal vegetables and lemon potatoes. What we got was tough grey lamb with a sauce that looked reminiscent of Salisbury steak. It didn't have much flavor and it was NOT tender. I cook lamb frequently and this was horrible. I could guarantee it was most likely microwaved and not braised in a rich sauce like it should be. We came after a long day exploring Williamsburg and we were so so hungry. The only real edible part was the vegetables. Also I wish they would give you more than 3 potato wedges. The potato could also use more of a lemon flavor it was hardly noticeable. The only reason we didn't give it 1 star was because our waiter gave us 10% off the entire bill because we complained about the dish.

If they aren't part of the decor, it was a treat nonetheless. We stepped inside from the rain with a parking spot very near the door. I snapped a pic on the way in to capture it's essence. We risked another walk-in with no reservations, and we snagged two prime end seats on the communal table. There were two open seats at the bar as well; might come in handy some other rainy Thursday night. The server, Murphy M., judging by the receipt, who helped my partner and I with our order, was a gracious host and incredibly well-practiced. It was a master class in serving, made effortless by him. He could not have been more accommodating, as we saw him appear inevitably at the exact right moments. Our server offered us bread and oil before the appetizer. The bread here is made fresh daily. It was so soft, I could not tell the difference from store bought. The food was exquisitely well prepared, the chefs and kitchen staff are immensely skilled. The appetizer was presented to us within a relatively short amount of time. We had time for a short discussion before the it arrived. The Tiropita was described as "four pieces of heaven." Accurate. The phyllo was thin and crisp, and the feta was creamy and delicious. I was careful not to bite too hard and ruin my pants. I had the Kotopoulo, which is a feta-brined oven-baked chicken with lemon and herbs served with lemon potatoes. The dish was cooked to perfection. The cooked potatoes were exactly as I like them, soft yet held their shape. It was an excellent meal, if a bit unwieldy (it's like half a rotisserie chicken, basically). My partner had the Hilopites, an egg noodle dish with giant beans, pine nuts, kalamata olives, cherry tomatoes, and feta, in a creamy, savory sauce that I couldn't begin to describe with mere words. The meals were both stunning, made unclear by my disastrous photography. All that being said, I did not really enjoy my meal as I was expecting. Maybe it's me, maybe it's today, or maybe the flavors simply weren't what I am accustomed to with the dozens of Greek restaurants from my past. I'm uncertain, and that's okay sometimes. Either way, it was a fantastic experience, and I will dine here again.

It's been many years since we have been to their west end, original location, but we thought it was decent back then. This location does not match up. We ordered takeaway, and it was fast. Take out was hot and fresh, but the packaging was mediocre. The moussaka was not contained in an appetizing way, and the excellent fried zucchini could have used a doily or napkin beneath it and venting in the container. Though the top layer was crisp, the bottom was soggy and oily. The moussaka was too heavily salted for my taste. The flavor of the spice seasoning was excellent otherwise, but both the meat and potato layers were so salty. Perhaps because of the intense saltiness, I wished there were more sauce or liquid. It was kind of dry. Béchamel was average. Fried zucchini came with side of marinara. Marinara is good. Side Caesar salad was unremarkable. Gyro was average. Fries were average as well. My partner salted his fries, so they were the antithesis of the salt level of my moussaka. I think the sandwich/casual fare might be better than an entrée at this location. I'd say stick with the reasonably priced and decent gyro over the entrées.
