This place is amazing! Always fresh, the meat is delicious. Me and my coworkers could DRINK the cilantro cream. We tried the cookies today... this place DOES. NOT. MISS. Sooo yummy. Definitely recommend!

I haven't been to @sticks_rva in years and I am not quite sure why I stopped but so glad I did go the other night! The space was inviting, modern and clean! The nicest cashier was super patient and friendly! I opted to try the sampler box which comes with your choice of four sides: falafel (4.3/5), cucumber tomato onion salad (5/5), onion rings (5/5) and tabouli (3.9/5) and I added a mixed veggie kebob (4.3/5). Everything was fresh and all items meant to be hot were piping hot! The sides are served over rice 4/5 and a piece of warm pita (4.4/5). One of the standout sides were the onion rings (I am a O-ring lover and these were so good). I thought the creamy cilantro lime and cucumber yogurt could have used a tad bit of salt (I should've added some feta for the salt factor) but outside of that, a really good vegetarian meal! My food came out pretty quickly even though they had a ton of pick up orders!

I hate to stick it to Sticks, and I hesitate to do so, but I've gotta be real. The take-out here is still delish!! The Kebobs are typically the bomb, although they were a little dry tonight. I ordered for pick up via phone; the employee, Amanda, didn't have very good phone skills. It was during the coronavirus so I wanted to support a local business. And, I understand that this is an unusual situation around which we all must navigate. But take-out in general, is nothing new. When Amanda brought out my order, she didn't speak, say thank you or anything. I had to initiate the exchange. She was void of personality and didn't seem to appreciate my business. She seemed perturbed that she was asked to bring my order out, but I saw other customers inside without proper PPE. Also, I was dismayed when I opened the bag, no napkins or utensils were to be found. So much for eating at the park like we planned. I'd like to see Sticks kick up their service up a notch and train their staff better. I think if they do, they will be back on track!

Good fast food! Have been here multiple times and the food has been consistently good and tasty. If you want to grab a quick bite that is freshly made and tasty, must check out Sticks Kebab Shop!!

Sticks Kebob Shop / Willow Lawn: Gumbo. I ate it, but wouldn't repeat it.

Considerably better than my last Sticks encounter on Preston Avenue. I'm ordering to go: Fresh Herbed Chicken Kebob with Cucumber Yogurt Sauce and White Rice. And French Fries. I sat at 4-top to wait for my food. Soon a young woman brought the food to my table, opening clam shells for my review. All appeared well, so I went home to enjoy my meal. At home, the Kebob and Cucumber Yogurt Sauce were excellent, just as I had 2 months ago. The White Rice was much better, fluffy and light. The French Fries were very good; I'd like to repeat them. In all, there were 2 significant differences between the Willow Lawn store and the Preston Avenue store: 1. Things were much cleaner at Willow Lawn: Table tops, floor, windows, and entryway. 2. Willow Lawn had better White Rice, light and fluffy. Preston Avenue's White Rice was the clumpiest I had ever seen. Very unappetizing. There are no showstoppers at Willow Lawn; I'd love to return. Not so much for Preston Avenue.

Great fast walk up Kebob shop! I ordered the 2 Kebob platter. I got the beef sirloin and rosemary rubbed lamb (upcharge). I HIGHLY recommend getting the lamb because it was so flavorful and cooked perfectly! The beef was also yummy. It comes with one side, pita bread and you can pick 2 sauces. I got the eggplant salad and red pepper + cucumber sauces. I absolutely fell in love with the roasted red pepper sauce!! Seriously get this sauce if you come here. I wasn't a fan of the eggplant salad but that's just my taste preference (nothing wrong with it). Overall, try the rosemary rubbed lamb and get the red pepper sauce. I can't wait to come back and try the other items!

If they aren't part of the decor, it was a treat nonetheless. We stepped inside from the rain with a parking spot very near the door. I snapped a pic on the way in to capture it's essence. We risked another walk-in with no reservations, and we snagged two prime end seats on the communal table. There were two open seats at the bar as well; might come in handy some other rainy Thursday night. The server, Murphy M., judging by the receipt, who helped my partner and I with our order, was a gracious host and incredibly well-practiced. It was a master class in serving, made effortless by him. He could not have been more accommodating, as we saw him appear inevitably at the exact right moments. Our server offered us bread and oil before the appetizer. The bread here is made fresh daily. It was so soft, I could not tell the difference from store bought. The food was exquisitely well prepared, the chefs and kitchen staff are immensely skilled. The appetizer was presented to us within a relatively short amount of time. We had time for a short discussion before the it arrived. The Tiropita was described as "four pieces of heaven." Accurate. The phyllo was thin and crisp, and the feta was creamy and delicious. I was careful not to bite too hard and ruin my pants. I had the Kotopoulo, which is a feta-brined oven-baked chicken with lemon and herbs served with lemon potatoes. The dish was cooked to perfection. The cooked potatoes were exactly as I like them, soft yet held their shape. It was an excellent meal, if a bit unwieldy (it's like half a rotisserie chicken, basically). My partner had the Hilopites, an egg noodle dish with giant beans, pine nuts, kalamata olives, cherry tomatoes, and feta, in a creamy, savory sauce that I couldn't begin to describe with mere words. The meals were both stunning, made unclear by my disastrous photography. All that being said, I did not really enjoy my meal as I was expecting. Maybe it's me, maybe it's today, or maybe the flavors simply weren't what I am accustomed to with the dozens of Greek restaurants from my past. I'm uncertain, and that's okay sometimes. Either way, it was a fantastic experience, and I will dine here again.

We started by sharing a hot Mezze platter that included falafel, beef kibbeh, cheese rolls, brussel sprouts, and house-made pickles. For the our main course I had the beef shawarma wrap and my friend had the chicken shawarma wrap. Both were delicious as were the Za'atar fries. The wraps are large enough that we were each able to bring home a half of our wraps and fries. We learned on our visit that Natalie's has a new owner. We had selected Natalie's because they "believe in building and strengthening communities by creating spaces where people of all abilities can thrive and grow in the workplace." When we mentioned that we were celebrating a belated Mother's Day and birthday, he was kind enough to bring us baklava! He also prepared us some excellent strong Lebanese coffee, which was a great end to our meal. For our main courses, we indulged in the Limone Pasta, the Amatriciana Pasta, and a steak served with mashed potatoes that was absolutely divine.
