This place is almost located in a small little building, and looks a little like a hole in the wall spot but the food was amazing! I got the lamb and beef shawarma and it was some of the best shawarma meat I've ever had. It was moist, seasoned well, and still crispy. The staff were very friendly and made my order priority on the spot over the take out order which I appreciated. Overall a very good place that I will definitely come back to! The food was incredible. I got the mix meat tray and husband got the chicken. All three meats were delicious. The "white" sauce was described as being like tzatziki - it has the feel of tzatziki but I'd describe it more as a creamy garlic sauce (still delicious). We both got tabouleh, it was fresh and tasted good although we agreed it could use just a little more flavor, maybe garlic or salt. Our total came to $41 but you do get a lot of meat. The food took a little while to come out but we suspect because they had several online orders ahead of us, plus it was worth the wait. Our only complaint is the pita does not appear to be made in house (we saw the premade pita's on the counter). Oh and the hummus was delicious, so fresh tasting. Highly recommend this restaurant and we'll be back to try more item!

Never fails ! The chicken shawarma is banging ! And the falafel is just as crispy as it is supposed to be. Reminds me of back home. My mother also loves their hummus and she's a hard Arab food critic to please. Whenever I'm feeling homesick I make sure to stop in. The ambiance, the Arabic music it amazing.

Scott's Shawarma is a great spot! Near the Science Center, it's an easy spot to grab takeout (or sit inside at one of the few tables). Since Toast wasn't working, we called in our order. Sadly, most of our orders were wrong, but it still tasted good. The spice on the chicken pops! The tortilla that the sandwiches come in is excellent. I enjoyed my chicken shawarma sandwich with spicy garlic sauce, pickled cucumbers, lettuce, and onions.

The best part of the restaurant was the kibbeh, even though it was very deep-fried, but the spices in it were very good. We have the Shawarma platter with chicken and the tabouli was very tasty. The garlic sauce needed more of a punch.

I've always loved the food from Scott's but glad to have this new location. Food is hot and fresh and ready quickly when ordered online.

Exactly what we were craving - lots of food for an affordable price in an accessible area to where we were staying for the weekend in The Fan! I absolutely loved the pickled radish, pepper, and onion as a part of the Chicken Shwarma w/ Saj Bread - the perfect contrast to some otherwise super chicken drenched in a tangy sauce. Every bite felt like you were getting every flavor that was promised when I ordered. Generous helpings of everything on my girlfriends order and I could not get enough of the sauces that came with. Reliable for takeout any night of the week with quick service.

Amazing chicken and beef shawarma, that tasted authentic and fresh. Friendly staff members made the atmosphere very pleasant and positive and the service was very quick! 10/10 would recommend to a friend!

Super quick pick up! Pretty good! Wish pita came on the side. At first I was shocked it was so expensive, I paid $16 for my platter, but honestly it's so much food I probably will make 3 meals out of it

Not much flavor. Kids chicken strips were a chicken patty that was overcooked and cut up. Also came out lukewarm at best. The Rueben was soggy and had about three slices of meat on it. Very little sauce on the sandwich no and was charged for extra when I asked for more. Added the Parmesan truffle fries which were powered Parmesan with some truffle oil sprinkled on top. Again all lukewarm. The Timberwolf burger had maybe two jalapeño's on it and the onions were burnt. The regular burgers and kids are the same size. Housemade pickles were soggy and the cucumber skins were tough. The quality of food from when we had eaten here a couple years ago was subpar in comparison. If you are going to charge for upscale items then they need to be upscale in the quality of what you are serving. Will not be back.

Our server was Braxton, a delightful young lady. She was witty and a diligent server and all the things...and she did not steer us wrong when it came to the food. My husband and I both had a taste for ordering an Italian sub and Braxton said we would not be sorry if we ordered it, and we were not. I was literally moaning with almost every bite. I am a potato salad connoisseur. I will not eat it unless it is freshly made. I don't do any of the grocery store type of potato salads. (Gross!) I asked Braxton about it and she said that in general, she doesn't even like potato salad, but at this restaurant, she absolutely loves it and highly recommends it. Knowing it is freshly made on site, plus her recommendation, I decided to try it. Oh my word! This potato salad is straight from the portals of heaven. Sooooooo good. This might not seem like a big deal, but it's a very big deal to me. I like freshly brewed tea. Nothing bottled. Nothing out of a soda machine. (Disgusting!) I asked Braxton if the tea was actually brewed there and she said yes. Tea is not the same everywhere. Sometimes it's so weak, you don't even realize it's tea. Not here! It was perfect. This makes a huge difference to me as when my beverage is perfect, I enjoy my meal a lot more. The entire meal was top notch. The service was absolutely excellent. We loved having Braxton and would ask for her again. A DJ was setting up as we were eating. We learned that they have karaoke and trivia nights earlier in the week as well as dance nights on the weekends. My husband and I mentioned that we would definitely come back and bring friends. We walked in to find the staff bustling, cooking, and prepping orders, and the smell of some delicious fried chicken in the air. I saw the kiosks and was not too thrilled with the Wawa experience, but we gave it a shot anyway, since fried chicken is one of our favorites. The process was simple and allowed us to add or remove anything we could want, so that was nice. While walking to find a seat, we saw a person panhandling in the dining area, but the staff promptly removed him from the premises. I ordered us the Pimento Cheese Balls for an appetizer, and I chose the Fried Chicken and French Toast as my entree because I always try the "chicken and waffles" at every establishment that offers it. My partner ordered the OG Chicken Sandwich without tomato, and it came with crinkle-cut fries. It was about $40. The chef proclaimed our order was ready in quick succession, maybe three orders behind the guests before us. We waited about ten minutes, maybe fifteen at most. We picked up the orders from the counter, and there was a mix-up on the syrup, but the chef promptly rectified the situation. He was a no-nonsense kind of guy; straight to the point. He seemed firm, yet kind. It was clear the day had been a busy one; he even told us as much, which was great to hear (busy = fantastic food). The French toast squares looked like rye or pumpernickel, and they emitted a sweet aroma, a delightful hit of cinnamon and brown sugar. I drizzled the caramel syrup on my chicken and toast, sliced a piece, and paired a bite of chicken with the toast. I closed my eyes to savor the flavors: the toast was crunchy and almost gooey (yet, not overly so), the chicken was crunchy, the sweet cinnamon-y flavors from the toast, the caramel from the syrup, and the tender, moist chicken were a match made in culinary art. I cannot sufficiently describe the French toast in a way that would do it justice; it was crunchy and semi-gooey, and all scrumptious. I can only say it was the single best French toast that I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Next, I tried the fried pimento cheese balls. Oh my. If you like mozzarella sticks, try these. I adored them: elevated fried cheese, for real. My partner enjoyed her sandwich as well; she ate everything except some of her fries. I saved half of my chicken and toast for today because I am like a treasure golem when it comes to delicious leftovers. I am going to air-fry the chicken and skillet-heat the toast back to its original goodness. I told the cooks that that was the best French toast that I have ever had, and I mean it. Do yourself a favor and try it if you're into French toast. This one is the GOAT. Side note: I spoke with the head chef outside, and he is from another branch (possibly Henrico?) to whip this location back into shape. Two words: "Nailed it."
