It's the food that was just meh. Stopped by for lunch and got: - Korean Pancakes: Prepackaged, it still was pretty good (i.e., didn't just taste reheated). The dipping sauce accentuated the sweetness of the pancakes. - Bulgogi Bibimbap: Bulgogi was really bland and a tad dry, so had to put a lot of gochujang on the bibimbap. - Bulgogi Japchae: Agaìn, band and dry bulgogi. The japchae was good - soft and sweet. Also, generous serving that is shareable. - Mango Banana Smoothie: A bit lumpy, and more mango than banana. But great for a hot summer day. Maybe it's the bakery stuff we should have tried, because everyone is raving about this place. The meals were just ok.

A medium-sized side order of kimchi 2. Korean pancake 3. Bulgogi bibimbap 4. Bulgogi japchae 5. Bagel with bacon, egg, lettuce, and tomato And of course, 6. A small matcha latte. I thought that the medium was a pretty good portion of kimchi. Probably enough for 3-4 people to share it as a side dish. The korean pancake was very yummy, especially when paired with the dipping sauce. I liked that both the bibimbap and japchae had a good amount of veggies. I found the bulgogi just a tiny bit dry. The bagel was panini pressed which was nice but it did toast up the lettuce which wilted it. The rest of the toppings were really good. The one thing I really didn't care for was the matcha latte. It was so sweet I didn't think I'd be able to finish it. The other thing is that it hardly tasted of matcha. The latte itself was pretty much white. That kind of told me that it wasn't mixed well and just didn't have any matcha in it. I'd skip this on my next UberEats order.

I tried the Taiwanese braised pork rice and it tasted very authentic -- super flavorful, well marinated, and nice and saucy. The shop itself is small and simple, run by a friendly Asian auntie, which gives it a cozy homemade vibe. Definitely more of a takeout spot, but great for a quick affordable comfort meal. Expect to park on the street. After enjoying LA PETITE COLLINE's Steeles/Woodbine location, I was excited when they announced and opened a Taiwanese-ish cafe nearby. We arrived around 1PM on a holiday and there were lots of people. We had to put ourselves on a waitlist and we waited for about 20-30 minutes. Thankfully you don't have to wait around (they call you) and they also have a bakery at the front so you can browse (and shop) while you wait. We ended up buying quite a lot of bakery items even before we sat down. Once seated, you can order from an iPad. Overall, service is pretty good. It took some time to flag some people down, but I think they were still working out the kinks (this review is long overdue). PRICE: Pretty pricey for what's offered, but it's the same range as their other location. Expect $20-30 per person if you get an entree and drink. FOOD: Food was good. I got the Hainanese Chicken and it was as expected - love that they're one of the only places that actually remove the chicken bones lol. It was pretty filling and good for what you pay for! Overall, I'd come back if I was craving, but I wouldn't consider this my go-to.

Convenient Taiwanese cuisine, cafe and bakery all in one spot. Their latte was amazing. Smooth, bursting tea or black sesame taste in your mouth and I really liked how thr latte was not sweet. Beef shanks was tender and gelatinous. Cripsy red-braised pork belly set was decent. Pork belly is thinly battered. The dipping saice was too salty imo. Their Taiwanese popcorn chicken looks good too. Will be back to try other dishes.

We probably waited less than five minutes, which was awesome considering that they had a lot of other orders ringing up. It had chunks of mango, mango puree, cheesecake, and whipped cream. It was pretty enjoyable, but I think it would've been even better if I added in some mochi. The menu says it's layered with condensed milk, but the mango puree overpowered it a bit. It would be a nice touch if they could drizzle some condensed milk at the top, so that sweetness hits off the bat (at least in my opinion). Customer service was great, they were fast, respectful, and knew how to keep the line moving.

Arriving at 11 opening time and being the first table seated we were excited to order. We ordered the sweet potato fries to share and found it standard and delicious. Fried well to crispiness and not too salty. But when we tried the Taiwanese meat sandwich and the Mushroom Sandwich and found them lacking in flavour and most importantly cold. I've tried these korean style egg sandwiches before and the main thing is that the bread is and the egg is warm when serving. So it really threw us off that the egg was fridge cold. Cold eggs and stale bread that honestly tasted oily was a disappointment for this spot. We ordered the ice cream sandwich for dessert which WAS enjoyable and the saving grace of the meal. All in all I would come here for the buns and pastries but not an actual meal (the table next to us who ordered pasta dishes also complained the food was cold).
