Everything was just average! I like that they gave me the biggest "local bar" feel. Even down to the pushing people out when the bar closes part haha but it was done kindly and funnily. I loved that the food had a lot of options even if the food I got was not inherently fantastic either. Drinks were fine! Everything was FINE! And they had so much space. Great place to see live music! However, the food is less than desirable. Eat before you go. This was only our second time there. The first time we went we ordered pizza and it was good. However, we went last night & ordered the appetizer sampler which was absolutely awful. The food tasted like it came from a frozen box & heated up & was so small & minimal & cost $18.79! It was a joke. Hamburger we got was awful tasting ground meat. DO NOT eat here. However, drinks are great & great price. read more

I'm not sure why people like this place. I've eaten here about 5 times and at no point in time did I enjoy my meal. I've tried a variety of things on the menu, and nothing was even better than "meh". People talk about liking their wings but honestly their Buffalo sauce is the worst around and the prices are not great. The atmosphere to watch sports is terrible.....the biggest tv they have looks like it's broadcasting from underwater due to it being a 20 year old box tv, and it's MAYBE the size most people now have in their home, not commercial business sized. The others at the bar are tiny and out of date with fuzzy pictures. Today they had a special of a $2.50 draft where 'you get to keep the cup!" Then when you get the beer it's in a typical disposable cheap plastic cup. Really??? I get to keep it as opposed to what? The bottom line is they have overpriced bar food that doesn't even meet dive bar standards. The atmosphere is not great, and neither are the tvs. This place might be okay if you're 21 and don't know any better or you just want to drink to get drunk but otherwise go somewhere else. Go to bar none across the street if you're looking for something along the same line but better. The place is huge inside with pool tables and a large bar. They have picnic tables and long folding tables with plastic table cloths. There's another room with glass that is apparently for non smoking. They have a lot of bands according to the flyer at the table but we were there too early. Needs a lot of remodeling. They have turtle shells on the wall with ribbons. Not exactly sure why. A very odd decor (in the non smoking area). I ordered a rack of ribs and it came with a super small baked potato and a salad. The ribs were also small which I though was weird because they had an appetizer that said a half a rack. Now if you half mine you were getting two pieces. I questioned a server and she said that's it was correct it's just that the dinner had the the extras. I'd say their menu is totally misleading. While the ribs were tender I didn't like the sauce. It tasted like it had whisky or something in it. Hubby was asked if he wanted white bread or something else. He said white, but it came toasted. Gravy tasted like it was from a can. Before we ordered the wings we asked the server about the sauce which he assured was not hot. He wrong. Spicy and burning my tongue. Asked for wet naps and they don't have them. You serve wings and ribs, you should have them especially when your napkins are super thin. The server actually went and got me a wet towel. read more

Loved their Tuesday wing night! I'm not even a wings kinda person but my brother swung by and picked up a variety of about 7 kinds for the family for dinner as takeout. They were delicious - Cooked perfectly and still crisp and delicious upon arrival home! The only ones I didn't thoroughly love were the boneless - the breading was just a wee bit too thick. I was partial to the dry cajun -- which was a zesty flavoring and packed a spicy punch! Even my dad was eating them and he usually can't take the spicy! So this is the bar where I've had my first legal drink. So I have history here so my review might be bias. I've actually learnt to roller skate in this building before it was a bar. The bar has changed over the years. It used to be kinda grungy on Thursday nights with some hip 20 somethings sporting long hair wanna be Kobain. Now it sports country bands in the background leaving it a bit of a hillbilly feeling. I've been away during the areas grown popularity with country music. So it doesn't sit well with me. Too whiny. Back on topic. The food here has always been pretty good with really good prices. Few beers on tap but a good selection in bottles. The place is really large. so it's good for groups. We eat here all the time. Some of the best "bar food" you can find in Beaver County. The bar is very spacious with ample seating. The bartenders are very friendly. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed. Update. 12/20/19. Not sure when it happened but the menu prices have drastically increased. I understand everything goes up in price but not quite sure it went up almost 25% across the menu. Place used to be affordable but the new prices puts it in line with a sit down Resturant where smoking is prohibited. They really need to take another look at their menu pricing. read more

Actually love this place. It is filthy, smells of decades of cigarette smoke mixed with Lysol, you can write your name in the grease on any surface. Why do I love it? Cheap drinks, great wings, huge salads, and always pleasant wait-staff. I, too, could do without the Confederate flag. That cost them a star. First time trying Kendrews and although the food was good, I can't get over the smoking bar. The dining area is separate, but you can still smell cigarette smoke. Why smoking is permitted in the first place in Pennsylvania bars is still absurd, but I can't imagine having to work in that environment to make a living. read more

Worst service Iv ever got at a bar. The female bartender had a Terriable attitude cause I asked for 3 dollars in quarters she only gave me 2 back. When I asked her about it she just said I was wrong then walked away. Then it took 30 mins to get a bottle of beer?!? Then she charged my one friends for beer he never ordered. I've seen the reviews, good and bad. I've been a customer since 2003. I've personally never had a bad meal there, eat in or take out. I also pay attention to when the kitchen and staff are busy. It's a small kitchen and they put out enough wings on a wing day to feed an Army. It's a good place. This is the second time I have been to Kendrew's Lounge, and I have not enjoyed either experience all that much. They appear to be so busy in the bar area that I would walk up to the bar and wait five minutes for them to take my order, then five minutes for me just to pay. It also show that they are understaffed when I believe that, most likely my order was confused with someone else's, so I ended up paying more than I should have. I must say though, the food is very good. It is worth every penny. The soups, burgers, fries, and seafood menu items are top notch! It is a large building with a dining area separate from the lounge where you can bring people under 18 to have a meal and all-in-all.. I would say it has really great food on the menu, the quality of the food is amazing. Though, they do seem to either be very busy, or understaffed in the bar area. My final opinion would have to be 6/10. I have not tried the actual restaurant area, but it seems good! The food is good! The staff is not so quick or responsive, and from what has happened to me, they may confuse orders and costs.. So make sureto know the prices of what you are paying for. Though, if you order food in the bar area they will have it to you within minutes, and are courteous coming around multiple times to ask if you need anything. I would recommend it for people, but make sure you know the prices of each individual item you are buying, and the total. Oh, and try the burgers! They make them with kaiser roll bread instead of ordinary hamburger buns! read more

I have been going to Kendrews for years and yes their food is the best bar food around, however, my family and I order the same meals each time and what is usually around $50 was 83.67 plus a tip tonight! The service was very discriminatory against those with more youthful appearances when their signs suggest otherwise so long as the proper identification is presented. They will literally box off younger looking patrons away from their parties to the other side of the building behind the glass wall, or turn them away altogether, regardless if they are accompanied by a legal guardian during shows featuring live bands to which their rules on their signs outside their entrances state is permitted. In terms of appearance, the room tacky and outdated. Sorry but tortoise shells and 1960's wood paneling combined with a bar that screams grunge is not a flattering appearance. The food itself is decent but could certainly be improved upon especially when catering to those with food allergies. My advice is if you're not significantly aging in appearance or a long standing regular, don't come here. read more

I tried this bar/ restaurant out this week and I am hooked! I am new in town and was looking for friendly service and nice patrons in this one horse town. I found both in very nice locals and an even nicer bartender, Jennifer. As usual when I say I am from Florida I get a lot "Why's" but here everybody made me feel at home. This is a shame to write. We got here and ordered food at 7:30. Our food, 2 sandwiches and 1 fry came out a hour later. 1 sandwich was warm other and fry were ice cold. We sent the sandwich back. 35 minutes later they tell us it's almost done. We tell them to forget it. They bring burger out 8 minutes later saying you sure you don't want this ? We say no just the bill. She walks away saying...... I'm having a cheese burger for lunch. Wow. What piss poor customer service. Unbelievable. ... guess it's another place I won't go back to. Oh yea we asked how come it took 40 minutes to remake the burger. We were told. "We're busy".... lol. read more

Sad to write this review. Kendrew's used to have some of the best wings in Beaver/Allegheny county area. I use to order 2-3 a week now they must have new cooks. They've been consistently undercooked the past 10+ times I went [ I kept getting them with the hopes they'd get it right :( ] I won't be ordering from there any time soon read more
