Walls are super thin (poor insulation). If someone is yelling, crying, knocks the wall, you can hear it. Unfortunately a family lives underneath me (1 bedroom units). I have to listen to their kid jumping around, crying and banging the walls constantly. They also love to blast their music during the day, but nothing is done about it (after multiple complaints). I've even knocked on their door several times but they never answer. I was advised they don't speak English, which I'm not sure about based on the music. Other than that it's a nice community and neighborhood.

Harrison Construction & Remodel completely redid our home in two phases which helped us cope with…read moresuch a big undertaking. They first redid all of the exterior with hardy plank, new windows, doors, paint, landscaping. That was for the house and detached garage. Then they tackled the first floor with all new wood flooring, a rearranged and totally new kitchen, new cabinets, fixtures, lighting, floors (tile), paint. The rest of the downstairs was given new paint, floors, shutters, moldings, electrical upgrades and lighting. New look in the 1/2 bath. We explained to them what we would like to see done and the result went way over what we expected or hoped. We were thrilled. Phase 2 was the upstairs, especially the Master Bed and Bath. New carpet upstairs, new electrical fixtures and lighting, new molding in all the rooms and hall bathroom with new fixtures brought the whole upstairs into a great look and super function. All of the closets were reworked to make them much more organized. But the Master bedroom's builtin cabinets were more than I had requested! The design by the owner was spot on and much more than I had even thought could be done. The Master bath is so beautiful with the new layout, new tile work, new light fixtures, new cabinets and new concepts - down to a toe tester in the walk-in shower. We had thought we would downsize or remodel after retirement. I am so thankful that we finally decided to remodel! Best decision and choice of a company that overlooked each group of workers and checked each detail. Kudoes to Harrison Construction & Remodel. Standard Cabinets weren't very good. But with Trendmaker... the standards were other builders. The rep was excellent. Very responsive to our needs. The construction manager Perry was great. Very attentive and professional. The customer service after we purchased was AMAZING. We purchased an inventory home. We noticed that it looked like one of the under cabinet light was never installed. Husband really wanted it. I did not think Trendmaker would fix this and told my husband not to worry about it. He insisted and called Trendmaker... they fixed it with NO ISSUES. Everyone that we have in our house to do extra things... talks about how well built the home is. AVOID THIS BUILDER AT ALL COSTS! I have been dealing with a warranty issue for months. Brandon…read moreBates has never come to my home to see the issue, rarely answers his phone and is slow to answer emails. He and Tri Pointe refuse to stand behind the customer when the products used in my 4 year old home are already falling apart, specifically my wood flooring. Brandon Bates is not at all helpful and is fast to blame the customer for the problems encountered instead of standing behind the customer and helping. The flooring installed in my home by Houston Carpets (by the builder) required a moisture barrier which was not used. Regal Flooring, the manufacturer, refuses to say anything except a moisture barrier was not used which was required in their installation instructions. This is when you would expect Brandon at Tri Pointe to step in and help their customer. This is not the situation with Brandon Bates at Tri Pointe. I have only used what Regal Flooring says is safe on my flooring when cleaning and have taken the very best care of my home. There is nothing I can do to save this floor as it was not installed properly and Regal floors will not return calls either. Brandon should help me with this but doesn't. RED FLAG WARNING - DO NOT BUY A HOME FROM THIS BUILDER, YOU WILL NOT BE HAPPY WITH THE END RESULTS AND THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WARRANTY.
