The only good thing about my entire experience is the fact that my car looked good; which it should seeing as how it was there for 30 days! As a trusted repair shop via my insurance company, I expected MUCH better service - I WAS SO WRONG! To start off, I was told to bring it the night before due to my work schedule. Only to get there & every entrance was blocked by a show vehicle (keep in mind, I had an appointment time). Therefore, I had to inconvenience someone else to take my car the next morning while I went to work. From there, my completion date was changed AT LEAST 5 times, I stopped counting after awhile! I realize some things change, but this was utterly ridiculous seeing as how it was just a crack in my bumper! Not to mention the amount of times that I had to call to get an update on my car, only to be told "you were on my list". The miscommunication is seriously laughable. When I finally got a call my car was ready on Friday, I received another call Monday telling me it would be ANOTHER week! Literally a bad dream at this point. God forbid I don't have another car accident anytime soon, but if I do, I will not be using the local "reliable dealership", I'll take my chances elsewhere and hopefully won't be without a car for an entire month! read more

bought a used truck from them with clean carfax, no accidents or damage reported. now i am looking to sell it and carfax shows accident listed 6 months prior to when i bought it. turns out my truck was not worth as much as they sold it to me because it had an accident that dealer did not disclose ! i would not have bought it knowing it was in a accident. i asked ken ganley to make me whole and rectify the situation. he responded he will not do anything to make it right. goodbye read more

Absolutely terrible experience at Ganley on 3/5/2025. Would recommend that anyone looking for a vehicle of any kind avoid the Ganley group at all costs. Here's why: I have a lease for a 2023 Buick Envision through another dealership. I have 11 months left on this lease and it currently sits at 14,000 miles and change. I decided to price out a GMC Sierra lease which was advertised as $379/mo sign and drive. I started by doing my homework on the residual value of my vehicle, getting offers from multiple online vendors, and checking how much similar vehicles to mine are selling for. The math worked out to roughly this. $22,500 residual value, $5k of payments remaining, offers from online retailers averaging 26,800, and similar cars at similar mileage and options to mine selling at dealerships for average $28,000. All these numbers led me to believe that I would be making a lateral move give or take $1,500. This is where Ganley comes in... I was told by the sales associate that she could offer exactly the residual value of my Buick in trade because "those vehicles don't hold their value". I thought this was an odd tactic as they have brand new Buick Envisions on their lot that they're trying to lease and sell to other customers that I'm pretty sure they wouldn't say that to. I was told my lease payments would be between $500 and $600 a month, basically saying I would sell Ganley my vehicle for the exact turn in amount (even though it was valued at $5,000 more) AND THEN pay them another $5,000 on top of that over the course of my new lease. Such a sigh of relief to find Ken Ganley's Dealership. I was anxious about going with a new car dealer that i have not dealt with before. I worked with Ricardo Trevino and he was AMAZING! He made everything so stream lined that i didn't spend my entire saturday at the dealership! He had multiple pieces of my car buying experience going at once and it just had a good and fast flow to it. He not only worked with me but he educated me as well. Placed treated me and a cousin horribly! Went to pick up his daughters car that had diesel put in the tank. We arrive state who we are and that we are there to take care of the bill. I ask to speak to the service manager. He greets us, I state the business we are to attend to he says Heather knows about this she will help you. We explain to her we would like to see the itemized bill she hands it to me. I proceeded to ask general questions about the bill and the hourly rate. She states they dont have a hourly rate and procedes to loud talk me stating that my cousins daughter and her grandmother agreed on the price, I asked her to please stop yelling im not yelling she states thats how I talk. She then snatches the paper as I get to the page with the man hours on it. She then turns her fury on my cousin who states hes paying the bill he has a right to know the amounts shes full blown yelling at this time me cousin raises his voice she says stop yelling he states thats how he talks. The service manager come back asked what happened she gets indignant and says its because shes a woman we dont want to deal with her and she sprints away. We told service manager what happened as she stayed away. The one redeeming quality about this dealership was the mechamnic who worked on the car Im sorry i didnt grab his name. He took us back and showed us the problem and what he did to try and fix the issue. We ordered a truck to pick up the car but it would take a few days they called stating they would charge us a storage fee for the car sitting in a open spot in the back of a un fenced lot. Later as we go to check the car out after we paid a ridiculous sum for a car that wasnt fixed. Heather stops us and sumgly states she "owes" us an apology. What she deserves is to be unemployed an associate of a business yelling and snatching things from paying customers! I would urge you if your car breaks down or your looking for a new car avoid this place at all costs their customer service was horrible at least in the service department. After multiple visit to many dealerships and many conversations about what I wanted I ended up at Kasper. I called to make sure they had the two cars I was looking at. They never gave me the run around, always respectful and polite. They provided all the information I requested and had the vehicle ready for pickup when I told them I was ready to purchase. I ended up with a very nice used Buick. I had some concerns leaving the lot and the manager of service gave me his card, told me he would meet me to pick up the car if I still had the same concerns after driving it for a few days. Did I mention the car was sold "as is"? He did not have to do this, so he went above and beyond! Kasper had the best price and a really decent drivetrain Warranty policy - you don't see this often. Mike was very knowledgeable about the dealership, their policies and the Buick app/service. I highly recommend visiting them if you are in need of replacing you car or just would like an upgrade. Heather from service is extremely rude. Wouldn't give us a price on repairs. We thought it was covered on our lifetime warranty, which we understood after she explained it. Why would she ask about our insurance deductible when we weren't in a accident . Bought a few cars in the past from this dealership. The salesmen are awesome. read more

I have to say I am feeling like I am getting the run around. I have been trying to order a truck for almost a year. Ganley have been more than willing to take 500 dollars on two occasions, giving one them back because the lack of the ability to even place an order. GMC Trucks are on every TV add every hour. The fact is according to them you cant even order one. I have had two sales people since this started and although the current person is at least returning emails they do not have any answers. I simply don't know understand the reason for not even being able to order something that cost more than some peoples first house. read more

Purchased a used SUV from here not too long ago. The only reason that we came here was that the vehicle that we wanted was at a price that we couldnt find elsewhere. The staff was okay but like most dealerships, the false acts of friendliness were transparent - almost more so here than elsewhere. I purchased a 2017 GMC Terrain SLE2 from Joe at Kasper Buick GMC a day before posting this review. I traveled all the way from an east side suburb of Cleveland. Kasper has the best prices and you get a lot for your $. I see a previous reviewer gave the staff a poor rating. I find that very hard to believe. I think I met just about the entire staff while I was working with Mike and the other staff members while the paperwork was being done. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM IS GENUINE. No false game faces are being put on by ANY of the staff!!!! Being a previous owner of Saturn's, I am used to the unique customer 1st experience that the Saturn dealerships provided. I can tell you without a doubt that the staff at Kasper GMC Buick made me feel like I had stepped into a Saturn dealership! Now these guys are stuck with me just like I stuck with the same salesman over the years of Saturn ownership! During the test drive with Joe, I felt like a was talking to a friend and not a salesman. The other staff members I spoke with during the financing part of the transaction took their time and made sure I understood every aspect of the paperwork. What really shows me the above and beyond attitude of Kasper GMC Buick is when they told me that they will pick up the SUV from my place of work in downtown Cleveland and take it back to Sandusky to apply the Surface Protect Plus coating and then bring i back to downtown Cleveland. I purchased a vehicle 2/09/18 after negotiating with sales manager "Bart" and saleswoman "collet" on what I was told a great deal and the vehicle had been inspected, serviced and with no dents or exterior damage. on multiple occasions by sales staff as well as sales manager they reaffirmed the fact it was a "almost" perfect car with high mileage. I put a deposit down on the vehicle and informed them I would be up the next day to purchase it. me and my wife drove all day from out of state to purchase the vehicle. when we arrived it was covered with snow and dirty. a salesman "Nick" cleaned it off and followed us through the sale. he was very pleasant. it was found to have one large and several dents on the hood and small dents on the side as well and defects on the interior not mentioned. and the oil life was only 49%. when I brought this up the manager did not even offer to come down on price or do repairs. "just buy it or don't" is what I was told. he would not even talk to us after driving all the way up there. after driving for 6hrs and already purchasing the car we went ahead with it but the repairs and service will cost us hundreds of dollars. by the time we pay for the repairs the cost of getting the vehicle we did not get such a good deal :( we do NOT recommend them because of the honesty factor. I purchased a used 2018 Ford Escape with 10k miles in Oct 2018. This vehicle had a clean history report. Two months later while getting my oil changed at my local Ford dealership, I was informed that the vehicle had been in a front end collision with poor repairs. I immediately went back to Kasper and had a meeting with the general sales manager, the service manager as well as the body shop manager. I stressed to them that I purchased a vehicle with no accident history and I was very concerned the the safety of this vehicle may have been compromised due to the front end damage. After they "inspected" the vehicle, I was assured the only repair that had been completed was a new vinyl bumper wrap as the original must have been scratched. I was told there was absolutely no sign of any collision damage and the grill honeycomb was the original and that would have shattered upon the slightest front end collision. They took my car for a week and sent me pictures saying the did a complete inspection which proved no collision damage had ever occurred. In April of 2019 I hit a deer and took the vehicle to a reputable body shop for repairs. I was told (and shown) prior collision damage was quite obvious. The active grill shutter had actually been glued back together, other parts were held in place with rivets and epoxy. The grill was black, which was not even the correct color when matched with the serial number. Bottom line, I was totally lied to and would never purchase another car from this dealership and I would advise others to shop elsewhere. Obviously a sale is more important than customer safety and satisfaction. I feel I was totally ripped off!! read more

While visiting my parents one weekend I learned my 2004 GMC Envoy XL was suffering from a cracked manifold. I contacted Kasper and they indicated they could make the repair for approximately$750 and would only take a couple of days, During the repair Kasper representatives contacted me several times to inform me that they had broken several of the bolts and that it would cost more each time they called. After several more rounds of this it was apparent that the Kasper technicians were not capable of repairing the vehicle. I drove the vehicle into their garage but it had to be towed to the a nearby repair facility to straighten out what they had done. To top things off I had to pay them nearly $400 dollars to release my car. This dealer is incompetent when it comes to repairing vehicles and should be avoided at all costs. read more
