After reading the reviews on yelp I knew Dylan was the cake artist we had to call. We gave a simple picture of a donut cake to Dylan and he totally brought it to life. The cake donuts surrounded a perfectly moist chocolate cake with chocolate icing. To see my niece walk around the corner and totally light up when she saw the cake is a memory I will never forget. Just like the name, rich fudge-like texture, perfect size pecan pieces, and bits of cherries throughout the sample. So very good. Grabbed a regular size 1lb 14oz- 7inch Original De Luxe Fruit Cake and small Pecan Fruit Cake to take home to add to our holiday dessert table. I did get some macaroons to snack on. However, tonight Junah made it less of a positive experience. He was talking and not paying attention to customers. He was on his phone touching his hair and nose. Thankfully he had to wear gloves. He was so distracted he bypassed us to the customers behind us. He kept trying to talk and get Hank sidetracked but he for the most part was cordial but stayed on task. I did not get the young lady's name she was a trainee. She stayed with the customer and was working efficiently. A past employee came in they all spoke to one another and Junah began to quietly complain about the line. He told Hank he should put up the closed sign. Hank did help me with merging my app to the new one and explained what to do and was patient. I would normally give them a 4-5 star but tonight's efficiency and service was skewed by Junah.
