Someone mentioned we should try this spot and we decided to today. The place is quaint and small with cute little Knick knacks and small items you can buy from a store. Maybe 20-30 people can eat inside at any given time which could tight if they were busy. We were immediately greated and our order was taken at the register. They were out of a lot of things but we decided to try a croughnut, croissant, chicken salad, tomato bisque, and gumbo. Everything was extremely tasty. I def recommend giving them a try. Or just buy a dozen of their fresh baked items for a party. Delish. read more

Wow ! I've been here 4 times so far and they never disappoint! You will absolutely find something to take care of that sweet tooth . I'm always greeted promptly. The decor is super cute! It's also very clean . Parking has never been an issue . If this hasn't already been mentioned , the almond italian amaretti cookies are to die for !! I'm not even exaggerating. The ratio of crispy edges with a gooey center is unmatched . But, these will always sell out first . Get there early ! If you can't get those , definitely the macarons! They are all good . They have nailed down textures. If you can't get those , you can't go wrong with their chocolate chip cookies . At this point , it's the best I've had. Finally , if you can't get that , grab a "trash bar ". It's for a bit of everything. Enjoy ! read more

The Frenchies (think high-end cruller), especially the just out of the oven ones that are available Wednesday mornings, are SO good. The counter servers were very nice, and they brought our hot offerings out to the table for us and were very quick responding to any request. The amaretti cookies were also delicious. Hope to go back as soon as we can. read more

Very disappointing experience -- multiple times. I'm extremely disappointed with this bakery. They advertise their special fried donuts, the "beignets," available only on Tuesdays -- three per serving, fresh and made that day. But every time we drive out there on a Tuesday -- usually around 10 or 11 AM -- they're already sold out. The bakery is open from 8 AM to 4 PM, so how does it make sense to say beignets are "available on Tuesdays" when they're basically gone by mid-morning? This has happened to us five times already. We drive 30 minutes one way just for those beignets, and there's nothing left. What are they selling from 11 AM to 4 PM if the Tuesday special is already sold out? It's not just Tuesdays. One Friday, I arrived exactly at 11 AM hoping to try their famous European-style donuts -- one of the main things they're known for. But there were no donuts on the shelves at all, just some macarons and chocolate cookies. When I asked what they were selling now until closing, they said they were "super busy in the morning and sold everything." Please make more. You'd rather end the day with a few extras than consistently disappoint people who go out of their way to visit you. My son cried that day, and again today, when we came hoping for those donuts and found nothing. Terrible planning. Very poor customer experience. We won't be coming back anytime soon. One star only for the beautiful interior and how clean the place is. Design and cleanliness are great -- but that's not enough to keep customers coming back. read more

Absolutely amazing! This place will ruin you from going to a regular donut shop. A must try!

We bought 100 amaretti cookies for a party. They were amazing. Sadly none were left to enjoy later! Planning coffee after the farmers market this Saturday! Highly recommend. read more

Going into Laurel & Pearl was such a sweet surprise, no pun intended. The atmosphere was so cool, the staff was helpful and we met the owner who was super welcoming. We ordered the chicken salad and crackers plate, perfect for a light snack. We initially went in lured by gluten free cakes. The Spanish Almond cake was light, flavorful and delicious! Highly recommend read more

Lovely place! I would highly recommend this place. The atmosphere is relaxing with a Paris throwback appeal. The device was professional and friendly. What can I say the chocolate croissant was flaky, moist with a rich chocolate center. Yum. My latte was springtime in Paris! It is a must! read more

Laurel & Pearl - Chocolate, chocolate covered strawberry, napoleon dynamite, strawberry cheesecake frenchie and a croissant! - Bakeries Near Me - Tyler, Texas

Food is expensive, but 3 stars for the barista that helped me figure out what to order, really sweet!!!

I went two days in a row, first for lunch, 2nd time with my husband to enjoy the pastries. Everything so far has been amazing. The almond croissant is the best I've ever had! Yes, they do run out of popular items sometimes - so it's important to arrive when they first open if there is particular thing you want. The lunch items and coffee are wonderful as well. Can't wait to go there again! read more

Laurel and Pearl is one of my favorite places to go and one of the best things about our town. There are so many delectable things to try and every thing I've ever gotten has been better than the last! Every time I think I've landed on a favorite it changes when I try something new. Mandy is a perfectionist and her attention to detail in all things is what makes Laurel and Pearl so special. read more

How ADORABLE! What a blissful place to savor an afternoon with friends!! Fabulous desserts in a beautiful spot. We were there on a Saturday afternoon, and sampled lots of amazing Frenchies (cronuts) and croissants. The staff was attentive and courteous, and very patient as we asked our questions and pointed at our choices. The seasonal flavors sounded delightful, and the caramel apple pie frenchie was to die for. My fave was the lemon blueberry. Omgoodness. The macarons are beautiful, but we were too full to eat them. They were more than happy to box us some for home! Bon Appetit! read more

Their orange cardamom Frenchie (summer item) is craveworthy! Pastries are always fresh.

Truly the tastiest bakery in East Texas! Tyler is lucky to have Laurel & Pearl. Our family favorites: The Gluten Free Italian Almaretto, Traditional Chocolate Chip with flaked sea salt, and the Peanut Butter cookie (not too sweet but so so good!!). Go and enjoy their fabulous treats in a beautiful space. They definitely captured their "Euro-Southern" tradition. read more

This is absolutely great! The service is amazing. Very welcoming environment. I love me a good bakery!!! This is a must have!

Specialty bakery with some non-bakery type foods. Awesome French onion soup. Very sweet people and family run.

Really cute shop, with novelty pit bull caricatures on the outside sign and as you enter the shop. Oh my goodness- the PB&J slider is sooo delicious! Though is only the size of a Scooby snack, I bought an extra to take to my sister. The coconut chai tea was also very good. I am giving this 3 stars due to the rude attitude the young co-owner had towards myself and my friend with a service dog. Instead of saying something like the dog needed it's service vest on, she angrily said dogs could not be in there in a condescending tone. Again, not the concept, but her horribly angry, red face. Maybe this is due to youth. I would think a business leader would be more tactful. It might be helpful to put a sign up that says "service dogs only (law)", to avoid confusion that this is not a dog-friendly shop. read more

Highly recommend!! Large variety of delicious treats as well as gluten-free options. The service is helpful and friendly. Definitely coming back. read more

Absolutely SUPERB!!!! I would give this place 10 stars if it were allowed! Their Tuesday gumbo (JUST WOW) paired with fresh focaccia bread (BEST) is a combination that I will never forget! I consider myself quite the "foodie" and I have honestly never had a better experience with croissants! The "Almond Joy Croissant" will change your life! I highly recommend trying this place for breakfast or lunch. I must admit that (my wife and) I enjoy coffee and dessert as well... and at just about any time in the day, so this place is perfect every time! read more
