While visiting Tyler, I took to Village Bakery and we got some Petit fours and Gingerbread people. The gingerbread people were as good and delightful as I remember. They're so good they're served year round vs. for a winter holiday thing. The petit fours (especially the chocolate ones) brought me back to my childhood. I go to pick up some treats here often, and sometimes they make it home, and sometimes they don't! I have to mention the dessert bars they make - they are OMG GOOD! Depending on the week or season, they switch out the fruity goodness in the bars, but I have yet to eat one I didn't love! They made a cranberry one over the holidays and it was to die for!! I also love their pimento cheese. It's way better than store-bought, so I grab a couple of tubs from the cooler whenever it's in stock. Makes delicious sandwiches or good just on crackers or whatever. I think this place is a treasure for Chandler!! So many yummies to choose from!!
