I wish she had told us this sooner, as we had to place a new order for my in-laws while we were almost done with our own food. strange that they were out of snow crab legs and dungeness crab so early in the evening and with so few customers. also the restaurant is freezing cold, dingy, and dark, which adds to the over all unpleasant dining experience. definitely skip this place!

The lobster and clams were overcooked and came out rubbery. The sauce was bland, no depth or kick to it at all. Was really hoping for better, but it just didn't live up to the hype for me.

Went with their set menu where you pick a starter two items to share for the table and an entrée, which was exactly the right amount of food and everything was incredibly delicious. Had watermelon salad, gumbo and also the amazing kimchee soup. The pork balls we're great as was the cod dip. The winner, though, was the crab curry. wholesome and delicious. Tried their homemade drink, the gogo juice, which I cut with sparkling water for the whole night and was excellent. Definitely worth a return trip. So good

Small place with huge taste and amazing menu. Who knew Korean and Cajun fusion would be so good?…read more When you walk into the restaurant, you're greeted with a host station surrounded by small tables and a sit down bar. It is on the dark side, so romantic outings will do fine here. There is an upstairs seating area with booth like seating and another sitdown bar. The room is pretty much windows, so on a nice sunny day it is really bright and welcoming. They have small fish tanks in the window, adding to the ambience. The staff is beyond friendly, professional, and helpful. Suggesting dishes and appetizers to fit your taste but come on everything is going to be amazing here. When greeted by your server, your asked the usual question " tap or sparkling water" sparkling is your jam you're in luck. The service is on the fast side, and I have read other comments where the staff seems to rush you out. That was not the case for me and my party even though they seemed pretty busy on this afternoon visit. The food speaks for itself; cooked perfectly, season to perfection and just enough portion so you can have leftovers. Because believe me you will want to have leftovers the food is that good. And on top of all of that, it's not too big of a hit on the wallet. So if you work in the area, or just planning a trip to the city Kjun 100% should be a stop or a lunch trip.

Stopped by after work but unfortunately happy hour was over at that point (I think we arrived at 6:30PM ish). Did not make a reservation but were sat down super quickly. The service was quick and attentive. Loved the ambiance and theme throughout the establishment. The bar in the front still gave that grove street vibe. We ordered Combo A (crawfish and headless shrimp) with their special seasoning plus fried catfish with sweet potato fries. Those sweet potato fries were amazing, best I've ever had. They were seasoned so well, I think cajun seasoning, and nicely crisp. The boil was good, wish it came with more of the sauce/seasoning. I liked the shrimp but was not a fan of the crawfish. Definitely going to return to try a different combination..

I walked into Aquaboil without any major expectations. I knew it was a seafood boil restaurant and…read morefigured it would be good, but it ended up exceeding my expectations. The first thing I noticed was how clean the restaurant was. It's a smaller space, but everything was spotless. Our hostess was incredibly friendly and seemed to be doing it all seating guests, making cocktails, checking in on tables, and even folding napkins and prepping utensils for the next customers. She never missed a beat. Since it was Restaurant Week, they were offering a $60 seafood boil special that included an appetizer, a boil, and dessert. My date and I decided to share everything, so we ordered the Cajun spaghetti and the Restaurant Week boil, adding a whole lobster for an extra $20. We also ordered drinks. I had the Raspberry Martini, and he had the Clawlatta, their take on a piña colada. Both cocktails were beautifully presented and perfectly balanced. Even though there were only two of us, our waiter pulled another table over so we had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the full seafood boil experience. It was a thoughtful touch that we appreciated. The Cajun spaghetti came out first, and it was delicious. It had a rich, flavorful sauce with a nice kick of spice that lingered at the end without being overwhelming. Then... came the BOIL!! I ordered the garlic butter seasoning with mild spice. The bag arrived piping hot, filled with plenty of shrimp, the whole lobster, potatoes, and lots of flavorful buttery broth. Everything was fresh, hot, and seasoned perfectly. It was messy in the best way and absolutely delicious. When we first arrived, there was only one other occupied table. By the time we left, the restaurant had filled up with several larger groups, yet the service and attention to us, was consistent. Every dish came out hot and savory, the hostess and waiter remained attentive throughout our meal, our water glasses were never empty, and the overall hospitality was excellent. Including drinks, the lobster upgrade, tax, and tip, our total came to about $175 for two people. Considering the quality of the food, generous portions, drinks, and outstanding service, I thought it was well worth it. I would definitely come back.

L also got the warm lobster roll and we got 4 margaritas/martini. Service was great. Refilled our water, dumped our shells, etc. We got it with garlic butter with medium spice. Very flavorful. Everything was really good. Potatoes and corn were so tasty in the butter sauce. The lobster was easy to break open with all the tools. I came here for seafood cuz I went to another restaurant and they had these huge mussels that didn't taste that great so I'm so glad Aqua Boil has the smaller mussels. Music wasn't loud and HH is 4-6pm, drinks were a great deal. Next time I'll try their reg cocktails. Lobster roll was great too. Very buttery. We were just eating the lobster meat by itself. We did eat the bun after. L was pretty full or he would've tried the cold lobster roll as well. I prob could've eaten the rest of the crabs but I took it home and we also ordered another lb of shrimp to go. I have to come back and try the other items. We really liked the food. We haven't been to a seafood boil in a while.. I mean seafood with butter.. that's just so good. We returned a week later for dinner to try new things. We ordered the crab cake, seafood combo basket, cold lobster roll, gumbo..a few cocktails. L enjoyed the crab cake, Cole slaw was good. I wanted just catfish but L wanted to try the combo. Fried shrimp is fried shrimp. Calamari was good but the catfish was flakey, fresh and delicious. I should've gotten more catfish. Cold lobster roll isn't as good as the warm one. I mean butter beats mayo... but ooh the gumbo was pretty tasty.. meat in every bite. Two pieces of shrimp, gumbo was so good with some rice.. it's good for 2 if you're sharing a few things. I had the Poseidon's Wrath which I liked. One was enough to make me feel the alcohol. L had a Siren's blood which he liked a lot..I don't like Bloody Marys... so not my thing, but it comes with a shrimp and a piece of sausage. Seas the day was too sweet for me but that was also for L. I def could taste the fresh mango puree the bartender used. We do like the food here, service is always great. Our waitress is so nice. We got more shrimp to take home. Not expensive either compared to Capt Lou.

This restaurant has good boils at reasonable prices which is we liked the idea of eating dinner there. We ordered 2 drinks , 1 soda , two $29.99 Cajun boils , a $15 crab sandwich. The food and atmosphere were good at first. One of my friends had never eaten any seafood boil. So this experience was exciting for us because we thought she would end up loving it! While receiving their boils, my friend realized her boil didn't include the cluster snow crab legs that come in other boils from the "Our favorite boils" section. We didn't have any menu in hand but we asked our waitress if we could add a cluster of those crab legs that comes with the other boils from that same section. She immediately said, 'Yes, of course,' and ran to put in the order. When she came back she brought out a bag with crab , 1 corn, and 2 potatoes. The 1 cluster of legs she brought weren't enormous or noticeably different to us, so their appearance gave us no reason to think we'd been served a much more expensive type of crab. When the bill arrived, we discovered she had added KING crab legs for an additional $160. We had not requested KING crab legs. When we questioned it, she said we had specifically asked for them, which we did NOT. At no point before serving them did anyone tell us it was a king crab leg . Nor that the add-on would cost $160. We had chosen $29.99 boils. It makes NO sense that we would then add an item worth $ 160 . We asked for the menu to see what sort of mess went on. We saw the menu lists snow crab legs at $21 per cluster, while king crab legs are marked 'market price.' We would NEVER have agreed to a $160 add-on if we had known. After a LONG discussion, the manager Eventually decided to take $80 off the bill for the situation. The discussion was very long... We did not like the service at all, especially the server fabricating what was actually said. In top of everything else, we were infuriated that the tip, remained the same throughout the entire situation & we did not like the way we were serviced . When we questioned it they advised that that is just how it worked there. The tip didn't match the total. The $50.89 automatic service charge stayed exactly the same on the revised receipt, even though the food subtotal dropped from $282.72 to $202.72. *** The menu says the service charge is 18%, so I would have appreciated an explanation of why it was still calculated on the original amount. What would have happened if we hadn't had the money to cover an unexpected aditional $ 160 charge? Customers should be able to decide whether they can afford an item before it's brought to the table. What started as a nice night ended with us feeling misled and having to argue over a charge we never knowingly agreed to. Please confirm the item and price with customers, especially when an add-on costs $160. Although I DONT expect anything further to be done about our bill Because I have yet to receive any reply from their direct online forum. Everything here was a let down. What I do hope is that this makes other customers aware because clearly no one else will advise them before hand & they will have to be left fighting over it at the end. I do NOT recommend.
