The lomo Saltado is good. You can tell it's half Asian/Chinese because the beef tastes like it's been velveted. Super soft to eat, sauce wasn't over bearing on the fries, onions, and tomatoes. And the white rice helps buffer. If you want a great lomo Saltado, go here. If you want the best, then elsewhere. I will admit the people were friendly even with my broken Spanish and the inside felt warm and nice to eat in. Could be cleaner but definitely not dirty. We got the 4pc Chicken with Fries which was super tender and well-seasoned. The skin on the outside was golden brown and just loaded with flavor. The Fries look pretty basic but were actually super addicting. The star of this dish was actually their homemade hot sauce. I could put that on literally anything. It was super aromatic and fresh with a slight kick; it added so much flavor to the chicken. The Lomo Saltado is one of my favorite Peruvian dishes and this one was good but not the best I've had. The price is unbeatable for the portion you get. The steak was mostly tender but some bits were chewy. The fires were soggy despite us eating it right away. I also didn't like that the beans were just put on top of everything. It would've been better if they were all to one side of the plate, but I would actually suggest not getting the beans if you get this. I've read many reviews regarding great seasoning. I couldn't rate the seasoning because all I tasted was grease. THIS PLACE IS A GREASE PIT. Staff seems like they would prefer you don't show up at all. They tend to be abrasive with attitude. White Castle has better ambiance and aroma. You leave with your clothes smelling like you work there. There are better rotisserie chicken places within a few minutes drive. Try it if your idea of seasoning is flavored grease. I substituted roast pork fried rice with vegetable fried rice, no problem. I also tried an Inca kola. The food portions here are very generous. The chicken was moist, tender, and flavorful.
