Everything was cooked to perfection, and I can't wait to order again. Only downside is when ordering takeout is there is really no where to park and it is a very tight street. Scratching my head at the positive reviews that led me to order from here. I'm sure the chicken would be a better choice since that's what they're known for, but they shouldn't neglect other items on the menu. Like the lomo saltado, another Peruvian staple. It was basically the fast food version. Steak was chewy and flavorless (where was the char?), frozen French fries, and rice doused in soy sauce. Looks are deceiving as well... We got takeout from here yesterday. It had been many years since either of us had come to Kikiriki. We were worried they might have fell off. When we got home we were delighted at what we saw (and smelled). We got chicken, fried yuca, maduros (sweet plantains), and pork fried rice. EVERYTHING was on point! Fresh, well seasoned, and properly cooked. The yuca is cut small so it gets nice and crispy. Even the ride home (20 mins) didn't kill the crunch! Success. The house hot sauce is delicious and basically goes well with every and anything! I know there are other locations, but this is the one we know so we went to Bergenline. Do yourself a favor and go. You can easily feed a family of four with one chicken and 2 or 3 sides for less than 25 bucks! All the food I got here was a tad bit on the greasy side. Nevertheless the chicken was good. They gave me so much! Fries were nothing special (as expected) but the chicken was so full of flavor, tender and um, well, literally finger linking good. The ribs were delicious too; interesting spices, tender and easy to manage pieces. Its not really saucy so I was worried until I took the first bite. No need to drown in a BBQ sauce, they are just good. Speaking of sauce, they threw in a couple of small mustard colored hot sauces. Don't be scared, try them! The sauce is a perfect addition to the chicken. Its a tangy, slightly spicy dressing, perfect for dipping a little bit of the chicken in. Just came from there without any food after waiting a half hour for my order. When I asked the guy in Spanish I might add he just laughed and joked with his coworker that HE was supposed to make it.
