We decided to finish this weekend and there was a promotion so we returned for another 10 gallons. The paint here isn't cheap by any means but boy it's good paint! It covers really well! It is well worth it! Now for the loss of a star. When I went back to get the paint to finish I did what I believe to be the intelligent thing to do and had him look at my account so I could double check I was purchasing the exact same everything. It was the other half of my house, after all, I need it to be the same. He did. But as I was leaving and he was putting paint in the truck, this kid said to me "sometimes you just have to make a decision". WTF! I am guessing this guy has never spent his own money on painting his house. 1500$ in paint and this guy thinks I should 'wing it'? I left it alone at the moment because I had nothing kind to say. My receipt says his name was Angel. We will continue to buy Sherman Williams paint, and I will continue to expect them to check my past purchases. There is another location not far away.

Unfortunately, I hadn't written down the name...I just knew that it was named after a town in Oregon. Easy, right? Chris went through his samples and found a match for my color that was nearly spot on, but since I didn't recognize the name, I knew "my" color was still out there. Chris let me look through his swatch books until I found my Hillsborough Beige. The whole time he was beyond friendly, even though he told me later that they were actually closed when I arrived. He acted as though we had all the time in the world to complete my transaction. While we worked, he shared some of his deep knowledge of the paint business in this area. I have no doubt that he could have and would have referred me to a competitor if he knew that they could serve my needs better. I always respect that in a business. He expertly mixed my paint, and checked the color match thoroughly. If I am dissatisfied with the way it matches what I already have on the walls, Chris said he is happy to adjust it until it matches perfectly. In short, I'd drive out of my way for a business this well-run, but I'm glad I don't have to. This will be my paint place from now on.
