Good ol Irish bar!! Fun spot, decently big and mix of tables and places to sit/drink/eat. Every time I have been there has been live music, sports games on and lots of people. The bartenders have always been very friendly and quick! You can order food as well as drinks. We got the halibut, house salad and burger - all of it was definitely a little plain/on the smaller side for portions but does the job for dinner and it is more of a pub. The location is in an alley downtown, so if you are driving, parking can be tricky. Overall, fun vibes for a bar!

    Fun times with tasty food

Great atmosphere, great food, good drinks, and a fun time overall. Service is impeccable they always have great recommendations if you don't know what you want.

It was ok. In searching for a restaurant for dinner for 5 people, it wasn't exactly easy to find a reservation somewhere near Pike Place. So we wound up here. When we walked in, we were told to just find a seat. Another staffer later came up to us and told us the table we chose was reserved. I then mentioned we had a reservation (since we hadn't been asked). And oh, that table was indeed for us. But the table was right by the kitchen door. After another group left, we were able to move over to another table that didn't feel like we were in the way. Note that the music is loud. It was difficult to hear each other. And the lighting is very dim. Sadly, I have now, apparently, reached the age where I need to use my phone light to read a menu. The ambiance and vibe is basically what you would expect from a rundown Irish pub. Soccer games on the TVs, mostly Irish music, various pics and items of an Irish-theme. Kinda all wooden and creaky. Now, to be fair, it seemed like there was primarily one server who was also the bartender, and then a couple of runners. So she was incredibly busy. The menu was plentiful. Lots of choices for everyone and everyone was able to find something to their liking. The food was ok. Not great, but not bad either. Wouldn't seek this spot out for the food. But we all ate what we ordered and didn't complain. The drinks options were decent. We all found a beer to enjoy. The patio seemed like the nicer area to be. All in all, it was a-ok.

What you would expect in an Irish bar. We didn't have any food here but there is a really nice dark beer selection as expected. The staff were there quick and nice. There is a lot of seating inside especially in the other room with a giant tv.

Holy shit! I love this place! $20 for roast beef special. Hell yeah! Count me in. So worth the money I paid!

Sat at the bar for some beer. We had heard this place was "super" haunted as the bar was built into the back of a mortuary. We talked to the two bartenders and one said he'd seen some things and the other said she'd never seen anything. The beer was alright, the vibes were that of a regular bar. What I thought was so weird was how trusting the bartenders were with the cash near and at the register. Register left open while taking a phone call, cash left next to the register with no bartender in sight. Please be more careful, people are crazy.

This was a tough one to review. The food was SPECTACULAR but the service was SOOOO HORRIBLE!! We sat at our table and watched the server (tall guy with dark hair, beard, and suspenders) go to 3 tables around us and literally skip our table. I don't even know why....but after 15mins of waiting I finally went up to the bar and asked the bartender if we could order. She was so very sweet and came right to our table and took our order. I really wish she had remained our server because after that we had to continue to get our own utensils and napkins, plus basically wave frantically to get the server's attention as he continued to keep his back to our table. The atmosphere was wonderful and very Irish Pub-like. We appreciated the Irish music playing and watched the Seattle Rugby game which was quite enjoyable. There was an Irish band that started setting up as we were leaving and they sounded grand. I wish we could have stayed but we're exhausted from a long day. Now for the food (and I wish I could have tipped the kitchen and not our server)....it was PHENOMENAL! We had the Jameson whiskey wings which were super meaty and had a great tangy flavor. The sausage roll was full of so much flavor and brought us right back to Ireland!! Then we had the Irish pizza and were surprised at the amount of flavor as well as the big chunks of tasty corned beef. BRAVO to the chefs who are making such fantastic food! We were only visiting Seattle due to a cruise and may not be back for a while. But I would love to give Kells Pub a second chance to experience better service to match the food and ambience.

My husband and I stopped by Kells Irish Pub and shared the shepherd's pie, it was super tasty and delicious. Service was friendly, the place wasn't crowded on a Saturday afternoon, and the Irish decor gave it a cozy vibe. Definitely a nice spot for some good Irish food.

Just stopped by for a nighcap and to listen to some music. Friendly patrons, attentive servers. Real Irish Bar feel.

Who doesn't like an Irish Pub? I like to visit an Irish pub anytime I travel and have the option. I went to Kells and had an old fashioned which was good. It was nice weather so we opted to eat outside. Not a bad decision, but in retrospect, we should've eaten inside. The outside area is adjacent to a lot of foot traffic. The menu has a decent selection of Irish dishes. My buddy wanted to try the calamari, so we ordered it. I don't like to be negative, but I was expecting the guy in the yellow rain suit (yes, the Gorton Fisherman) to come out and asked how we liked it. Better seafood at Long John Silver. Don't let the appetizer review steer you away, the main dish was good. I had to try the Shepherd's Pie and I'm glad I did! It was a little small as portions go, but it was freshly made and delicious! Worth a visit!

A proper fish and chip, the Guinness was poured well, and the service was fantastic. Live music as well!

The First Gentleman was attentive and we got our drinks and an appetizer timely. We ordered our second appetizer with our first server and thats where the service deteriorated. I could hear the table next to us ordered the exact same appetizer as we did 10-15 mins after we did and a new server who must had just clocked in brings them the order literally within 2-3 mins later and the male commented, "oh that was fast" and I thought to myself they got our order. Another 10-15 mins go by and I had to ask "do you know how long our order will take to which she seemed to get annoyed. It could have my energy because by that time I was annoyed. I'm not sure what happened to our original server but he must have gotten off. About 5-10 mins goes by and here it comes. That confirmed the table next to us got our order because of how long it took. They never apologized for their mistake. Doing all that time they never came back to see if we would like another drink. I had to flag someone down. The clincher was we got our bill and there was 22% service charge. That was on me because if I would have seen it I might not have gone. I'm not a fan of automatically charging a service charge. I'm a great tipper but it must be earned. By than I was really annoyed and thought to have a conversation with the manager but let it go. I would not go back. The craft cocktails are spendy but I had no problem with that because they're creative and they earned it by being creative. But the energy and the environment wasn't like the other speak easy bars I visited. It was boring and to top it off the service charge of 22% and the service that came with it sealed it for me. Make sure to read the website on their thought around the 22%.

The whole space has this intimate, luxurious atmosphere that makes the experience feel special the moment you walk in. We tried the Japanese Breakfast, which is a savory cocktail and such a pleasant surprise. It genuinely has miso soup notes. It's very unique and creative. I also had El Boho (flavorful but not overly sweet). The staff are always friendly and very knowledgeable when it comes to recommending drinks. The prices are on the higher end, but personally I think they're totally worth it for the creativity and overall experience. This is the spot I bring all my out-of-town friends to because the ambiance, vibes, and drinks are just that good. Truly one of Seattle's gems.

Parking can be a wee bit tricky so waking, ride share, or public transit will be your best options. But if you have to drive we found a paid lot a few blocks away While this wasn't the best tiki bar we've ever been to, it did stand out for the presentation of drinks, the cool (and massive) octopus, the immersion, and overall vibe is nice and atmospheric They have four non-alcoholic options which I really appreciated as the one driving for the night! They also have standard as well as unique takes on tiki drinks. We were surprised to find so many options with vodka and tequila which isn't common in a more traditional tiki bar We had the: - "Kiki Premier Mai Tai" which wasn't as rum forward as we would have thought, especially given how many rums it had in it; but overall it was a classic style Mai Tai and tasty with quality rums - "One Eyed Willy" which has a fun presentation in a chest with smoking dry ice. This one you could taste the rum more and overall it was a really enjoyable drink and experience - "See A Light" which is a non-alcoholic option and the taste was just as good as the presentation. Came in a lovely angler fish tiki mug with the light and everything! The taste was complex and something that thought went into creating - "Four Boys" another non-alcoholic option that was the coolest visual as it came in a "steaming" crock pot. The taste was very unexpected, in a good way, and is a drink I would get again Overall the drinks were about a 4/5 but with the charming atmosphere and whimsical presentation it's a 5 star experience that is just fun

First and foremost, you need to make a reservation. I did end up needing to move my reservation up because of scheduling but it worked out and the staff were really nice about helping me. This is a speakeasy inside Rumba, I did not know that going in. It's incredibly cool to walk into the bar. The decor is amazing. It's super small though with a few tables and bar seating. It was kinda loud when I was there since most tables were filled. My server was nice as well and was able to answer all my questions. Ambiance was exceptional and is such a cool place to visit. Most of the cocktails came with fancy show of some sort and were extravagant - and equally delicious. I got The Inside Passage, but there were at least three others I was trying to chose from. There was a lot of thought that went into the presentation of each of the drinks and I love that attention to detail. Since it was around dinner time I did want to order food and drink. They did not have the Kikisoba (they ran out) and that made me sad, but I was able to order the Rumba sliders and a basket of fries. I'm not a huge sliders fan, and I did order the caramelized pineapple on the side. The sliders were incredibly flavorful and the perfect size. For anyone wanting to visit Seattle, I do highly recommend this place. It's a really cool vibe and the food is really good too.
