Ordered (and split) the Pecan Waffle & a side of (4) link sausage. The portion of pecans was really sad. (see picture) . None found in the batter either so the $+1.50 up charge is a little upsetting to this diner. With that portion, just throw em in man! The huge pile of whipped cream (ordered on the side) just didn't make up for the shy pecan portioning. Textrue is tough enough to use a knife since the cheap thinazz fork wasn't up to the task. Sausage links were hot and cooked good - not over, not under done - cheers. Coffee is okay- hey it's hot, black and kept filled. The forgotten extra plate (remember we asked to split the waffle??) came out shortly by another server staff, but I had to use my one napkin to dry it off. No, I didn't want to put my half of the waffle in a puddle of water. I think the kitchen forgot the add a plate request or didn't read the "split" request on the ticket cause I watched our server jot the note down. We'll try again but for now, "ok" for this Keke's is all I can offer. Our experiences were so much better at the two other locations we have tried. This one has just opened up too so, we'll give em some time to tweak their game and then return for the encore - update. read more

My fiancé and I went there last week and our waitress was good. Our issue was that the manager Mike walked up to our table with his back turned and took or tab with our card and cash. Now the card was to pay for the $42 bill and the $20 cash was a tip for our waitress. He brought the tab back and did half on the card and other half using her tip money. That made us angry because not once did he come to our table and ask us how our food was and he didn't ask us how we were paying. Even when he brought the tab back, he didn't say anything. That was rude, unprofessional and why would he automatically assume we needed to split the bill. I'm a registered nurse and he is a Marine so money wasn't the issue. Food was okay. Service was a little slow. After getting our food brought out, we felt rushed by our server. Before we even started eating and roughly every 5 minutes, she came back to ask if everything was okay. That's fine the first time, but the third time I started to feel like I shouldn't be there anymore. As many times as she came back, she didn't refill our drinks. Food is pricey for one waffle. DO NOT GO HERE! Unless- YOU like being ignored, disrespected or have a strange urge to learn the kiosk of Keke when modifying your own order. Save yourself time and go to First watch. Below explains my story. First the call- My significant other placed the call and after hearing confusion, I asked why was it such a problem to switch the cheese from provolone to pepper jack in an Italian omelet? She stated that it seemed to be more of an issue and that the person taking the call (the manager) sounded eager to leave the call and confused so I should go there early to switch it. I agreed and arrived 5 mins after the call. The arrival- When I got there, I asked the front host if I could switch the cheese, but he said that if it were too late, he would be able to do anything. He came back a couple mins later and said he could not do anything. I was given the food but there was no one to help me check out. I waited with another person until someone came to the front and she said that she could not check me out. She stated that she would not be surprised if people started leaving without paying because it was not on her card and that it was so disorganized. So, I waited again until I was able to checkout. I went home and called back and said that I wanted to talk to the manager but was disconnected. SO I CALLED BACKED and talked to Janelle (or something like that) and explained my frustration but she said... "it was my partners fault for not understanding"... I was completely appalled by her statement and repeated it so that she could understand that she was insinuating that my girlfriend was stupid or dumb. However, looking back, and being from the medical field, I could have said that a negative preliminary test result of COVID 19 must be confirmed using polymerase chain reaction but why would she know that. Similarly, why would I know that modifying an order, as simple as the cheese, would require it to change in her kiosk? I just want to order food without having to concern myself with the small details, but I digress. She apologized about the situation and said, "you have my word it won't happen again." But as far as I can see, her word to me or anyone ordering from this store is that, "it's your fault", and always will be... What a Keke's store. We have been coming to Kekes since it was called Florida Waffle shop. The food is always amazing! I seem to always get breakfast bc I can never let myself try something new and boy was I as I did! I got the steak wrap with green peppers, onions and mushrooms (server did forget to have the mushrooms though) I paid it with sweet potato fries which were out of this world! The experience is always great and the food is always consistent. I will say all the years coming their knives are terrible and it's hard to cut waffles etc with them that's my only bad review here. The turn over of tables is quick and the serving staff seems to not have a high turnover which is awesome to see! No matter if you want lunch or breakfast this is the place to go! read more

Went here for breakfast and I had the banana nut pancakes with the home fries and bacon, my daughter had the French toast sticks and fiancé had a ham and egg wrap (that was not on the menu but they made it by request). I enjoyed the meal and the service was great. The restaurant was clean and the portions are gracious. The pancakes were huge so I couldn't finish my entire meal so I definitely left satisfied. They have a large selection of breakfast and lunch items to choose from. read more

I have never been a big fan of Keke's but I saw that this location had a better review than the others. I dined at Keke's with my 2 siblings on Monday at 10:30am. Service was very slow. Took 45 minutes to serve us our food in an empty restaurant. Coffee was not strong, salad came out warm and my egg and cheese sandwich came out without cheese. Basic. I had to try it since many talk about it but have to say that I wasn't impressed at all. In my opinion the food took too long to come out. I had the omelet and the portion was tinny and it looked like it was microwaved and not freshly done. Definitely not the same as other Keke restaurants in the area! We used to make a trip to Clermont or Longwood just for breakfast at Keke so we decided to try the Ocoee location. Unfortunately this location doesn't have the same great service or great food that we enjoyed at the other locations. Service was slower than you can imagine and a manager eventually stopped by so we asked if we could order. He sent a server over and after another long wait our breakfast arrived-cold. Eggs cold, French toast cold, home fries cold you get the idea. We spoke to the manager again and he offered to get us a hot breakfast. We waited again but the results were not much better. Was excited that Keke's opened up on our side of town. They have a consistent menu comparable to their other locations. Friendly waitstaff, food comes out promptly. They are open for breakfast/lunch only. Weekends are extremely busy, expect to wait to be seated. There are healthy options on the menu for omelets and/or salads. The manager was the worst I seen in years. My friend ordered a dish that by standard apparently is a cold sandwich, however the meat felt frozen. He just wanted it a little warm maybe room temperature but instead to come up with a solution or be kind, she made him feel like he was incompetent and offer different sandwiches. to make matter worst his food arrived after we all finish eating and that is after waiting over an hour for the food. I brought my elderly mother here for breakfast and everyone was very kind and accommodating. Mom ordered an omelette and waffle while I had the eggs Benedict. The food was very good and the presentation was very appealing. My one issue is that the food was not very hot. The restaurant was not full but I think the plates sat a little too long before being delivered to the table (for example, the butter did not melt into the waffle when it arrived). Disappointed today. Ordered waffle-it came slightly warm so that butter did not melt. Already sent hamburger back because menu said 1/2 LB and it came with 2 1/4 lb patties-like McDonalds! If I'm paying premium $ for a hamburger I expect better. Ordered a BLT came with plenty of bacon but it was all piled in the middle of the bread with a small tomato slice on top. My breakfast was served cold (yay, cold eggs!). The blueberry pancake was uncooked in the middle. The pancakes are super thick so maybe the kitchen staff are still figuring out how to cook them right, being that this location has been open only a few weeks. They gave us a discount for the pancake but I think they should have issued a full refund for it. Service was good. In sum: meh. Maybe we were just not lucky. If you go, good luck. read more

I have enjoyed going to KeKe's breakfast cafes and have tried this one near my house several times. I do know that KeKe's is overpriced but had not decided to let it change my choice. This particular location never seems to know their menu. I order the same thing every time and for the last 3 trips it has been a mess. The menu says white toast and it comes on a different bread. The wait staff insist it comes on a different bread. So you cannot forget what to specify. And then it doesn't matter. I cannot seem to get what I ask for: the eggs are not as requested nor is the bacon. The fruit cup is ok ( although overpriced) but the stems are on the grapes which is what the cup consists mostly of I GIVE UP!!! It is easier to drive a little farther or just pick a new place. How hard is it to make a BLT with an egg sandwich?! read more

We tried this this new-to-Ocoee breakfast place today, with hope that it could equal or surpass our local favorites, TooJays or First Watch. Our verdict: we'll try it again someday, with hopes they sort out their issues. My pecan waffle, while it contained pecans, was surrounded by a meh matrix of binder that required a knife & considerable sawing action, & was accompanied by an off-white squeeze bottle of "syrup". At that price, I expect Grade A maple syrup. While my husband's poached eggs were excellent, the thin-sliced potatoes were evidently underboiled before being panfried. The manager responded immediately & made sure he received properly-cooked potatoes. Coffee was akin in taste to that found in the cheapest of diners. My biggest quibble: where in the heck are the grits? Keke's is headquartered here, in Orlando. Which is in Central Florida. Which is... in the South! Newsflash: people with $ to dine out are not all transplants, folks. And, if you are a potatoes-at-breakfast person, well, that's how we Southerners feel about our grits. read more

came here for breakfast on two separate occasions. once right before they closed on a Saturday and again for Sunday brunch both times everything was exceptional! the service was amazing, Jeremy has a great personality and really makes you feel welcomed. few more shout outs: to the chef (I can't recall his name but he came out to greet us and everything), food runner Dyan as went above and beyond to make sure my mother has fresh coffee. I have been to other locations before so I was thrilled when this one opened near me. honestly of the all locations I've been too, this one is the best! the food was amazing, the pancakes are well cooked and fluffy as all heck. I got the blueberry pancakes, my mother got the Florida pancakes. beautiful presentation even better tasting. seriously my favorite breakfast spot will go again soon! read more

Visited the restaurant couple days ago as per wife's suggestion since we have never been there. We usually visit our breakfast joint in the Winter Garden Village. Ordered pancakes which was served doughy, we send back for cooked pancakes but second time not much better. The icing on the cake was when I asked for Ice tea refill and after couple of minutes the server informed us that they are out of Ice tea!!! As you see I don't leave many reviews and we are frequent in restaurants around us, but only when the visit is a disaster. I did email the Corp. but no respond! Very poor operation, slow service, poor quality food, and lack of interest in guest relationships. read more

I go to Keke's often and for once I wanted to place a TOGO order instead of coming in to the resturant. At first I was place with someone who took the order in the office and then when I had questions she had to transfer me to a server because she said she was in the office and didn't know. Once I was placed with the server on the phone it seems like proper communication wasn't given because I had to regive my order again and was literally on the phone waiting for over 20 min for them to get everything in the system. What kind of service is that. Not only will I be contacting this location but this email is being forwarded to corporate. Great Breakfast!! I went here with some friends for brunch. I got the Florida pancake which was topped with strawberries, bananas, and blueberries!! Amazing! The pancake is huge (& delicious!) !! And the fruit was so fresh! The other girls loved their meals as well (Greek omelet & Pancake/eggs/turkey sausage). The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Our server was friendly and attentive! Like others on here my review is pretty much the same. Been to other Keke's and the food and serves was pretty darn good. This one however falls short of the many others that I have been to. Hostess staff is very friendly and inviting. The serves well. You never do see the same one twice. 10 minutes for our drinks and still have to remind them we haven't gotten them after sitting right outside the kitchen is a bit much. Servers don't bring out the food runners do. And that is pretty much the last time you will see anyone at your table. The food for the third time comes out luke warm and you will find your pancakes with raw spots in them. Not that hard to make sure they are cooked all the way I would think. Would of been nice to have seen our server but that never happened till time to collect the bill. read more

Great brunch. Just me and my 7 yr old. They give kids bendy sticks - awesome toy. Keeps them busy. Pace was perfect- good service, food came fast. My son had kids pancakes- good price and he got 5 small pancakes with an orange wedge garnish. It was a good sized section so enhanced the meal. I ordered the Greek omelette. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like Keke's isn't what it once was in terms of food quality. They certainly have a lot to offer, but that doesn't mean much unless it's tasty. I ordered the egg white vegetable wrap with fruit. I liked that the fruit cup offered had bananas. The wrap was mostly wrap, not a lot of substance. What was there was kind of sloppy and runny. I don't think the waitress really like me, but she seems like she was ok with my husband. I just didn't know what I wanted to eat. So I kinda did get her little confused when I wanted whole eggs instead of egg white. I don't think I am being difficult when I ask for Arnold Palmer drink with unsweetened ice tea with sweeten lemonade. But she forgot/or didn't care to bring it anyway. So I just let it goes. Our bill was 28.18, and I left 38$ including tips. I could've leave less tip, but then again may be I am the problem not her...my waitress. 4* that I left was for the people who made my food, and hopefully as of a restaurants chain that doing so well....they may fix things to be better in the future. read more

It's more like a 2 1/2 stars. We had the Florida waffle (looks proved deceiving) and sausage omelet. The waffle itself was rubbery and almost impossible to cut. The whipped cream was definitely the fake spray kind. The fruit was fresh though. The omelet had velveeta type of cheese and very little sausage. My overall take on the place is that it's expensive for average food. The service was friendly. read more

I'm always VERY happy with anything I've ordered here. Can only speak for breakfast but have had waffles, eggs & pancakes. All very good. They do something extra special to the English Muffins because they never toast that perfectly anywhere else. Had the pumpkin pancakes with pecans & Bananas in it today. I had been anxiously awaiting these to arrive all through Oct but apparently they show up Nov. 1st. I've had many many pumpkin pancakes but none have been as good as these. The cinnamon butter with it was outstanding. The sliced Bananas were cooked into the bottom of the pancakes as well as just enough pecans. Hubby had an omelet with a heaping bowl of beautiful fruit.
