Had high hopes, due to reviews here. Disappointed. Server friendly and appreciated. But - worst coffee I've had in a long time, and this includes hotel room pods! It was as if they used old grinds, forgot to refill, and result was murky water. I need a decent coffee for a nice breakfast. Not delivered here. I'd think this would be a given. Food average. Have come here several times now for an early Sunday breakfast, and it's always busy with locals! They have a decent amount of outdoor shaded seating. The menu is simple but has something for everyone. The waitstaff is always very kind and has let us stay and chat long after we've paid. read more

Georgia has a serious lack of locally owned places where you can get a good breakfast. Enter Keithsburg Cafe! Great food, great service. Not normally too crowded that you need to wait long for a table - outside dining is always a treat if the weather is nice. There's a good selection of meats and sides. Pancakes are always great, as are the biscuits. Eggs are cooked correctly (I like over easy, but few places actually will cook them right - no problems here!). It's a little out of the way if you're in Canton, but once you get hooked, there's no place else for breakfast. Only had lunch there once, but it was every bit as good as the breakfast. I didn't know what to expect when I ordered something from the menu called Heart Attack but my palette will never be the same again! A large portion at a great value is enough to make me swoon but when it tastes as good as this home-cooked dish did, it's a true treat! What a great hidden gem. Went for breakfast and had the Keithsburg omelet. The omelet was large and had a little of everything and it came with biscuit and gravy. Let me say it's a lot of food. My friend has corn beef hash and eggs and she said it was really good. I will definitely return and try other menu items. The staff was very welcoming and was happy to answer my questions. No frills here. The food is simple breakfast/lunch food in a family owned/run diner with friendly service.

Nice little country place for breakfast and lunch. Great friendly service and the food was very good. We had the Philly and the Western omelettes which were not covered in butter like IHOP, although they could have used a little salt; same with the grits. Biscuit was nice and fluffy with a bit of a crunchy outer layer that was just right! Other than that, we'll be back for sure. I can't believe this place has been here for 10 years and it's our first time stopping in!! The inside is small and has approximately 8 tables and stools at the counter. We chose to sit outside (which was fine due to a beautiful day and the tables have umbrellas). We were greeted right away and there were open tables in the patio. The restaurant is open Tues-Sun and only until 2. They offer both breakfast and lunch. The soft drinks are cans, no Coke fountain so you pay for each one- no refills. The coffee is good though. They are very accommodating to substitutions and our waitress, Cindy, was awesome. She kept my coffee full and gave our daughter a Freezie pop for dessert. I ordered the Western omelette (with hash browns on the side) my daughter had the ham omelette with a side of biscuits and gravy. I wasn't crazy about the biscuits but they make the Texas toast perfectly (I realize that isn't hard but it was toasted just right with a good buttering). My hubs had a breakfast sandwich on Texas toast and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall, we'll definitely go back. I want to try the pancakes (they're big as a plate), the burger and their onion rings. If you're in this part of town, definitely stop in. read more

Thank you Yelp! It's a small hole in the wall type country place but the food, prices and service are fantastic! We had to wait a little bit at 9am on a Saturday but they move people in and out quickly. My friend decided to order a la cart. The Heart Attack was amazing - biscuits, gravy, sausage etc. I had the Keithsburg Omelette and my daughter had the Philly Omelette. Both were excellent. As a new transplant from the North I had a chance to try grits. Good! Lastly, the service was outstanding. Many refills of coffee and asking if we needed anything. It was quick but I did not feel rushed. Highly recommended! read more

My husband and I had caught a red eye to Atlanta about 2weeks ago. We worked the day before and flew over night so by the time we landed we had been up for over 24hrs. we were also starving. We were driving to northern Georgia and didn't want to go to out of our way for food. I turned to my handy dandy Yelp app. and started searching. I came across Keithsburg Cafe and saw that it got relatively high stars. Since the cafe was in our direct path of travel we decided to go ahead and stop in. The exterior looked promising and once inside it looked even cozier. The owner must be a big sports fan because there was football memorabilia everywhere, but just of one team, don't remember what team, I hate sports and don't pay much attention to that stuff. We were told we could sit were we wanted so we choose a table by the wall. Our server quickly came over with menus and brought us coffee. My husband wasn't sure what to order so he asked our server what she suggested. She told him that the Keithsburg Omelet was their best breakfast dish, and alas that's what he went with. I ordered corned beef hash and one egg over medium. Our food was brought out in a timely fashion, but it didn't look terribly appetizing. My corned beef hash was okay, the bottom half was bit burned and over cooked so I scrapped and ate the top portion only. The egg felt like it was more sunny side up than over medium, so I didn't each much of it. My husband's omelet was okay, not much to rave about either. He was told it was a huge, but really when it came out it looked average size at best. He practically ate it in four bites. Wow is this place busy and cramped. The overall vibe in here was no nonsense breakfast food served by some very hardworking women. I loved the coffee here because it was so fresh. They were grinding the beans right in front of me. The have a decent selection of breakfast items to choose from although everything was pretty greasy. The decor is all Georgia bulldog. read more

Place is always busy. If you want food that tastes like you cooked it yourself at your house while in a hurry, it is a place for you. I had a burger and fries and it was just that. Fairly bland, but it was good. My pal loves the place and judging by the amount of cars parked there daily- so does much of Cherokee county. It's small, breakfast and lunch only. Reasonable prices. My wife works in healthcare. As such, her hours are long and unorganized. However, when Sunday mornings roll around my wife, son and I always like to enjoy a Sunday morning breakfast out together because it's usually the only day of the week that we actually can. Now this is where Keithsburg café comes into play. We're not the type that usually choose big corporate every-corner locations for our dining enjoyment. We enjoy the smaller, owner-operated, staff that is passionate about what they do and enjoy coming to work, type of eatery. This is the Keithsburg Cafe. The food is fantastic! The service is friendly and attentive and they make you want to come back and eat again. I'm not going to say there isn't usually a wait, because there is, because they literally only have about a dozen tables in the place and they're always full because the people that have eaten there come back to eat again and that should be taken as a positive and not a negative. Came here based on Yelp review. Very Mom and Pop feel off the beaten path. I told the owner to surprise me with my order to go. But then decided to sit at the counter which gave me a chance to talk to the owner. I got scrambled eggs, county fried steak and a bowl of gravy with a biscuit. The reason I like to leave it up to someone else to decide what I'm going to eat is because I get to try stuff I wouldn't ordinarily order myself. Plus I like to see the reaction of the person taking the order. The eggs and steak were great. The biscuit was very good but I probably didn't need the gravy. It's bikini season people. read more

This is the BEST place for breakfast, brunch and lunch! The parking is easy as they have a private parking lot, and the restrooms were very clean. We had some friends come into town and took them there for breakfast. It's the best country food you can get in Georgia. We had pancakes, omelets, country fried steak, hashbrowns, corned beef hash, and it was all delicious as usual. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and both the prices and portions are awesome.
