We got there around 11:30am on a Sunday. Usually that is asking for really long wait lines due to the timing of church-goers and regulars flooding places at the same time. I will say, we waited (party of 2) about 20-30mins tops. They are very efficient at getting people in and out. It is an old 2-pump gas station and mom&pop convenience store. The service was excellent! The food is great along with the selection. B we had breakfast items. My husband had the keithsburg omelet and it was yummy..he let me try it. I had eggs with bacon and a blueberry pancake. The pancake was fluffy with big blueberries! I ate it without tons of syrup. It really didn't need it in my opinion. Coffee was endless. I would highly recommend this place for a good southern breakfast or lunch!

My new favorite meat & 3! The service is friendly and attentive. The FOOD is so good that I was morning through most of the meal. I wish I had their recipe for creamed corn... It has a down home atmosphere and I can't wait to take my friends there for breakfast or lunch.

Small roadside cafe serving breakfast and lunch with southern specialties. No longer a local hangout as it was waiting room only when we arrived. Split a huge breakfast omelet and still couldn't finish all the food. Definitely order the corned beef hash! And, a slice of Hummingbird Pie. Gonna be visiting Canton for awhile and will absolutely come back and try the bbq

KC was highly recommended by other family members. The pro-military and patriotic theme of this small restaurant is wonderful. First time here for us and we weren't surprised to see it packed on a Sunday morning. The service was excellent by a team of happy servers. I dined on a western omelette with grits and a homemade biscuit. My wife had the veggie omelette. Both were tasty and filling. Prices were very reasonable too. Good hot coffee too.

What a great find! Wonderful breakfast in a cute atmosphere. There was a wait, but service was superb. Turnover of tables was quick. I had country ham, biscuit and sawmill gravy and hashbrowns. Will be back!

Huge portions and great food. The outdoor seating is close to a busy road so that that into account. Responsive wait staff too!

It just adds to the energy of downtown and makes you appreciate having such a gem in the community. We truly hope POPS becomes a longtime staple here in Canton--places like this deserve it. We all pre registered on line plus we arrived early to take advantage no lines or crowds. This is a shotgun and clay disk range, you can bring your own shot gun to use, they don't mind. We had a great time maneuvering through the site on our golf cart. Taking full advantage of all the great views and training. Our security trainer was very information on how to stand, hold the rifle and site the disk. We were a party of six with 10 rounds per section. Each section the disk came from different angles to be shot at. After a few hours we moved our party towards the restaurant. Where we sat on the outdoor patio taking in the view and watching others shoot. Our waitress was kind and very informative. She helped us make some desirable selections. We had the garland sunrise and a blueberry lemonade cocktails. The appetizers we had loaded tots( delicious), rock shrimp, and fried green tomatoes. All very filling! Moving on to entrees threes beer battered fish and chips, onion soup, shrimp and grits. Giant burgers and fries, chicken sandwich and onion rings, and pulled bbq platter. We were not disappointed with any of it. ( thank you chef). We ended our visit with photos on the lawn near the archway with the blue ridge in the background. With a heavy mound of onions and mushrooms on top, the grits ended up feeling dry and pulled all the moisture out of the bite. The flavor itself was fine, just lacking moisture and balance. We also ordered the scallops and risotto. The risotto was the standout. Bright, fresh finish, great texture, and not overpowering. The scallops, unfortunately, were the opposite. They had a noticeably strong smell right away, which usually means they're not as fresh as they should be, especially at a $40 price point. We took them home, but every time we opened the fridge the smell hit us, so they ultimately went in the trash. Despite this particular experience, we've always enjoyed this place. Service is consistently great, drinks are solid, and we usually leave happy. Hoping this was just an off evening, because we genuinely like coming here. Adding an additional * for the great service and because we haven't had a bad experience otherwise.
