My wife and I tried the place for breakfast for an adventure. The Keithsburg Cafe is not much to look at from the outside (You'll think it's an abandoned Gas station.), but inside the restaurant was clean and cozy. Food was cooked to order, and pretty tasty - and service was good, even though all of the tables were taken and the place (and parking area) was full. I got the sense that this is a favorite with the local hard-working crowd. I wouldn't recommend coming in a suit and tie (or Anything from Auburn University), but if you're looking for someplace the locals like, with good food and a great value with some down-home company, this is a great stop for breakfast. read more

This my favorite place to eat. We bring out of town guests here to eat and like us they love it. It's a great atmosphere. Wandered in around 11:30 today, the place was busy. After waiting 8-10 min we sat at one of the 7 or 8 tables, passing up a chance to sit at the counter. I wasn't sure I could stomach looking behind the counter while waiting on my food. My guests Eggs were cooked right, pancakes were cold upon arrival. My 'grilled' porkchops were tender, and didn't seem to be very seasoned. I think they were actually cooked on a flat top griddle thus in my book not really grilled. The mashed potatoes were Instant for sure. I ordered the field peas but was brought pinto beans?? The collard greens canned and lacked any noticeable seasoning. The cornbread muffin was soft in the center and hard as a rock around the edge. I'm talking like a rock. The iced tea was really good. The service wasn't bad but it wasn't great. A busy Sunday was probably the culprit. Basically this is one of those 'been there, done that' kinda places and I doubt I'll return. Great omelets! I had their sausage omelet with cheese, and peppers, it definitely hit the spot. Their biscuits are completely homemade, you can tell by the taste of them. So as far as food goes, it's way better than your average breakfast place, and cheap as well. Atmosphere is tacky to me, but other's might like all the UGA football paraphernalia all over the restaurant. It is small, so large groups be warned as you might not all fit. This place is a gem! Home style friendly service. The food is fresh, delicious, plentiful, and priced right! The waitresses are quick to fill your coffee cup. The cafe is decorated in a country style motif with prints in black and white of cowboys roping and riding. There is a large painting of steer on opposite of entrance. This review pertains to lunch only, as we've had breakfast many times here, and it's always good. Sadly, the same can't be said about their lunch. Everything tastes like it was either frozen or from a can. Such a shame that they don't make things from scratch. Maybe they would need a bigger kitchen for that. A hidden gem! We went on Sunday mid morning and waited less than 10 minutes. The food arrived quickly, was very good and inexpensive especially compared to other ATL breakfast spots. Grits are nice and creamy (not watery, bland, and gritty). Biscuit was fluffy and fresh. The owner came around, chatted, checked on everyone. He said he makes the grits himself. I never even noticed this place was here. I saw it on Yelp and decided to try it. It looks pretty rough from the outside but the inside is clean and homey. If it's busy, expect to wait because it only seats about 30. The sausage gravy was a little bit runny, but the pancakes were probably the best I've had. read more

First time visit and loved it! It's not a fancy place where you'll find fancy-shmancy, highfalutin food items that you never heard of or would've considered pairing together, but the food was something you would've found sitting on your grandma's table on Sunday after Church. Our family LOVES Keithsburg Cafe! They are a down home southern style breakfast/brunch restaurant. They are a hidden gem of Canton. Although they seem to offer the same things as Waffle House, they are WAY better. The atmosphere is great and the staff and customers make it feel like you're eating with family. Their biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and a side of bacon or sausage is our go-to. Always made from scratch and with love. I would recommend it to everyone! read more

We tried for two days to get in here and have breakfast! The parking lot was packed, and that is always a sign of good food! We tried to get in the door, but it was blocked by people waiting, and someone even pushed the door back on us! So we left and said we would try again the next day! I'm so glad we did... Sunday morning it was wide open:) we had eggs, bacon, gravy biscuit, chicken biscuit, and hashbrowns... Yum!!! (I say almost because she has a special place in my heart that just can't be taken) the people there are always so kind and respectful they really know how to make you feel welcome! If you're looking for good ole country cooking..you need to come to Canton and park your behind at this establishment. As I was being seated, as always I look at others plates to get a feel for what everyone else is ordering. Biscuits and gravy is clearly where it's at. This place has a lot of regulars and I can see why. I ordered a country fried steak biscuit with plain gravy on the side. It did not disappoint. The biscuit was light and fluffy. The steak was fried perfectly meaning not dried out. The gravy had just the right amount of pepper in it. Wonderful flavor!! My friend had the biscuits and gravy and man....I will be back for that next time. It was amazing. I didn't try the eggs that my friend had but they looked so light and fluffy The signs and on the wall are hilarious and relevant to the country style cafe. Staff are good people, competent and friendly - as long as you follow the seating rules: Seating is done by honor system of first come first to sit at next available table so pay attention to who is waiting when you go in as they don't take names. We have seen newbies get called out for trying to jump ahead of others. Do not sit until table is cleared and wiped down.
