**Bridesmaid dress chaos** My dress arrived on a Wednesday and the wedding was on Friday! I frantically called every place trying to find someone who could hem the bottom of the dress which was extremely too long for me. Most businesses I called laughed in my face and rejected me. In an act of desperation I decided to call one more place and to be honest I could hardly understand what was being said on the phone but I rushed over immediately. I was greeted and attended to very quickly. He got to working as soon as I stepped out of the changing room in my dress. I stood there impatient and nervous while he pinned away. He asked me when I would need this done by and I shouted "FRIDAY!!" Through the dressing room. I was prepared for him to turn me away but instead he asked what time I'd be by to pick it up. I was relieved. I handed him the dress with hopes he could pull it off by 9am Friday. Not only did He pull it off but the work was incredible. He was my knight in shining armor!!! my dress was a success and the wedding was perfect! Don't snooze on this location - I recommend them to everyone. read more

I needed my USMC dress uniform tailored for the Marine Corps Ball. I went to 5 different tailors and all of them said the dress blouse was to complex and turned me away. Already jaded with my experience trying to get a tailor to assist, I was referred to Kee's Tailor and went in with minimal expectations from my previous rejections. Not only did they great me with a smile, they were more than willing to take on the task. I needed this done quickly, that nailed it and delivered as promised. If you a military or LEO and need alterations done on a dress uniform, I would HIGHLY recommend this place. They did an amazing job! Thank you Kee's. Been coming here for at least 10 years and have always received great service and excellent quality work. I stopped in today to drop off some suit pants to get a speciality button sewn back on. The owner (I assume, it's always he and what I also assume is his wife there) would normally have you fill out a work order with your name, #, etc but today he just said "hold on". Went to the back, and came back 5 minutes later with the work done and refused to take my money. Granted, it was likely only a $3-$5 job, but in today's world with prices everywhere going up and more and more companies seeming not to care it was nice to have someone help just to help. Kee is a magician as he worked wonders on a bridesmaid dress my granddaughter was to wear at a wedding this weekend. The dress was originally purchased on line and inadvertently the company sent her a dress two sizes too small. While my granddaughter and I were eating lunch we noticed the Kee's Taylor shop and he was opened on Sunday! We finished our meal and drove over to see if by some chance he could alter her dress!! All I can say that Kee is a magician as to how he altered her dress to a perfect fit! His patience and understanding are outstanding! I would give him all 10's or even 12's!! I brought a pair of white pleather shorts to have the fasteners sewn on. He handed them to me folded and when I got home there was ink all over the back. I brought them back to him and he acted like he didn't know what happened. Make sure you completely check your items before you leave the store. He didn't take responsibility for the damage. I don't know what he did to them. The must have been hanging on a hanger with ink or fabric dye. I could not get it out and had to throw them away. Mistakes happen but he didn't take responsibility. I will find a new tailor. It was sneaky and dishonest. Usually the items are on a hanger with plastic over them. read more

I've used Kee's Tailor for several years and have always been happy with their work. Most jobs are simple, like hemming pants for my short legs. But recently I took a very expensive winter vest to see if Mr. Kim could possibly repair it. The vest collar, despite it's premium cost, had worn through thread bare in a couple of years. He advised it would be a lot of work, so his fee ran about 25% of the original cost of the vest. I picked up the vest today and Mr. Kim had done terrific work. It looked like an original part of the vest, with a fabric that will wear much better over time. read more

When I tell you, this man is the TRUTH!! One day before my birthday trip, my dress was too tight on the arms and the back. I took the dress to Mr. Kee with the closest fabric that I could find (same color, different material) and asked him if he could work a miracle for me for me by the following day. I dropped the dress off at 6:30 PM and I kid you not, my dress was ready the very next day at 2 PM. LESS THAN 24 HOURS!!! He saved me and I would recommend him to anyone. The quality is great! An absolute miracle today. I brought my custom made tuxedo in for alterations last Thursday. I am picking it up today less than 5 business days later. This, in my mind is unbelievable. I have recently lost 30 lbs making this directive even more challenging! To top it off unknown to anyone, two other so called experts said it could not be done! Fortunately, they were wrong. I have a special navy blue sport coat that I purchased in London a while back. It has the look and blended weave that only the best London tailor made suit makers can provide. It had a small, but difficult "tear" on a center button hole! So even though the coat was not new, this coat had an intrinsic value to me! I am happy to say that Kee's Custom Tailor, ( Mr. Dong KIM), spent Two weeks making it right again!! Not the cheapest, just the best! People often under-appreciate the value of an experienced tailor. I'm so grateful to have Kee's so near me. I have a brand new linen jacket that needed to be steamed to release the wrinkles. I was afraid to do it myself because I didn't want to cause the fabric to become shiny. Mr. Lee took my jacket in at the last minute and will have it ready by end of day. I've been going to Kee's Tailor shop for a few years now. They've helped me with a few dresses, skirts, sleeves, and even a blanket that it's trim was falling apart and was I hold dear. I'm very short and plus size, so even petite is sometimes too long for me. I have total confidence in them for all my tailoring needs. Hands down, I recommend this place. I've been using this place since I first moved to Dallas and haven't gone anywhere else! I recommended this place to my friend for her wedding dress and I got my bridesmaid dress altered here. After I got it altered it was too tight and didn't fit well, but he fixed it for me free of charge and it fix perfectly afterwards! I have literally no idea how he was able to make the dress still look so good and alter it to make it bigger but he somehow did and it looks amazing!! I cannot recommend this place enough! read more

My petite daughter has difficulty finding clothes that fit correctly. When she discovered a jacket that she really liked, but it was too long in the arms, we decided to try taking it to Kee's Tailor. The sleeves had an intricate pattern of holes and laces which seemed impossible to shorten without removing the entire sleeve. I got my wedding dress tailored here. I got the sides taken in. I went to the shop, tried it on, and he pinned the dress so that it fit on me. I tried it on when it was ready (I think it was about two months later), and it fit perfectly. Very happy with the work done. He was fun to talk to, and I'd definitely go back in the future. The shop is also open later than most of the other shops, which is why I initially chose this shop, but the quality of the work stands for itself. read more

I have brought him several pairs of pants, jackets, and a few shirts and he has always provided excellent, expedient alterations. On the one occasion where my garment didn't fit quite as I had envisioned, he didn't hesitate to make additional changes at no additional cost and had it ready for me the following day. Took 4 custom sport coats to get altered as a method of last resort before having to invest thousands in replacements. Was told at other places that there was no way to modify them after losing weight. Kee's took them confidently. Pinned each one to fit perfectly and asked me to come back in a couple weeks. I took my jacket to Mr.Kee's , I've been very happy and pleased with his work. He fixed my zipper. It was Michael Kors long jacket.! he was kind and the work was wonderful! Price was very reasonable! I called with an emergency request. I was headed out of town early the next day and discovered the jumpsuit I was wearing to a wedding was broken. I was told to come in and they could definitely assist with a zipper repair. Im glad it was my only call and it was the only call I needed. This will be my choice going forward. Disaster diverted! My granddaughter tried her wedding dress on again after taking it to the cleaners for a pressing just 4 days before her big day. The zipper was broken!!
