OMG, I'm amazed at the quality of work from Kee's. I purchased a dress from Neiman's that was too small. Not intentional but when it arrived, I could not zip it up around the bust area. There was a huge gap. It broke my heart for all the money I paid for this dress at Neiman's , to have to literally have it reconstructed. I was so nervous. When I picked up the dress, I cried. It look exactly like it did when I dropped it off. The pleats that he had to add, match the dress precisely. I HIGHLY recommend Kee's Tailor. I love this place. I am extremely disappointed in my last experience with Kee's Taylor. I have taken many articles of clothing there before and never had an issue. I took him a bridesmaid's dress 3 weeks n advance. He did not have it done when I came to pick it up Also It was way entirely too tight and had spots on it. I could barely breathe the whole night in my dress (I did not gain weight either). $12 to get a pair of pants hemmed, $14 if you want the same thread color as the original. I also got a pea coat taken in to be tighter and that was $35. Kee's Tailor did great work, and it was available for pickup on the day we chose. It's nice to be able to try on the piece of clothing for the tailor so you can show him the length or fit you want. I will warn y'all that his English is not the greatest, so there can be a bit of a communication barrier! read more

I have taken many pieces of clothing and everything has turned out perfectly. Most recently I had to bring dress pants for my uniform that were sent to me in a size way too large. He shortened them up and made the pant leg narrower for me. I tried them on and they fit me absolutely perfectly, I couldn't believe how he was able to take these pants that were horribly fitting and make them look amazing. 10/10 recommend bringing your clothes here! read more

I have taken all my uniforms to Kee's for at least 10 years now. I have driven as far as Sanger and now Prosper. I don't trust anyone else with these since the uniforms are on public view at all times. Mr. Kim will listen to my requests and make sure it is done right. If the final product isn't what I wanted he will make sure I'm happy and fix it. When in a pinch, again, he will do everything to rush the order when needed. As long as Mr. Kim is there I will always take my uniforms for tailoring to him. read more

On my way in for a hem on my new jeans, I saw a customer getting measured for a bell-bottom removal on True Religion jeans, and I knew immediately Yelp had steered me straight. This is a one man tailor shop, who probably does outsourcing for area dry cleaners...he is busy. My jean hem cost a whopping $9.47ish, which was quite a discount off of the $20 my dry cleaner quoted. Finally, my jeans were hemmed perfectly, and I have found a tailor I can trust...which I believe was on GQ magazine's 2009 checklist of "Things to Do in Order to be Happy." read more

After expanding my chest to a modest 92.4 inches in preparation for winning my 6th consecutive Mr. Olympia contest, I began to quickly realize that my suit jackets were beginning to feel very tight across the chest, back, and shoulders. Common sense dictates that while one may have some degree of flexibility with their trousers...one cannot simply increase the size of their jackets. I was faced with a dilemma. The Shah of Iran had handed me down a collection of hand-spun fine silk suits before being exiled. I had to either surrender my royal wardrobe in exchange for pieces from 'the peasant collection' (aka Men's Wearhouse) or figure out a way to maintain my sartorial magnificence. In pursuit of a solution, I ventured into Kee's Tailor in Frisco and was greeted by a well-dressed gentleman from Thailand who has been in the business for a few decades. He advised me that he could, in fact, adjust my suits properly and do so in a manner to accommodate my upcoming humanitarian trip that I was summoned to attend in Uruguay within the next 48 hours. I returned shortly after to try on the outputs of his work. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this skilled artisan was able to successfully adjust to correct my jacket's sizing. It fit perfectly, and he did a fine job. Needless to say, I was highly satisfied with Kee's Tailor in Frisco and plan to return after finding the cure for a few dozen types of cancer next week. read more

My dress was extremely elaborate, they did a fantastic job getting it to my size and to fit perfectly. They had to take each "patch" off on all the seams, then take it in, then reapply all the patches again so as to not compromise the design of the dress. They did this on both side seams, and took it up with chopping the bottom off, since there is elaborate design at the bottom. I'm so happy, and the quality is great!!!! I will post a pic when I wear the dress for the wedding I'm attending. read more

Husband brought pants in to get taken up in the length a little. They pinned them up with his shoes on and said they would be ready in a couple days, no problem. He picked them up and they were WAY too short. They Re-measured and said they would fixed. He asked how they would do it since the pants had been cut and sewn back and there wasn't a lot of fabric left. He said no problem, they would fix it. So, they let the pants back out and hand me this? These were $68 brand new pair of pants. He then tried to tell me that the line in the pants was maybe from rubbing onto the top of his shoes or that we washed, dried and shrank them. We know how to do laundry, no, that didn't happen. I went back with a brand new pair of these pants to show him and to ask that they pay for the new pants or at least give us the $14 back for the job that we paid for that they didn't do properly. He said he would hem the new pants for free Nope..I told him he should be ashamed of himself for treating us so poorly and not taking responsibility and trying to make things right by his customers - $14, sir...really??? I own my own business and do my best to be reasonable with my clients. A $14 isn't going to break ur store, but it certainly would have showed a client you are reasonable. I came to get two jeans hemmed just by the length. All other tailors will charge $10. This place will charge $30 per jean. Extremely overpriced and costs more than the cost of the jean itself. You'll find better tailors elsewhere that will not try to rip you off. read more

They did my wedding dress alterations and were super reasonable. They also did a great job! All my alterations only costed 150. Other places quoted me 500. I have sent them other brides and my bridesmaids and they have been extremely happy. I will Continue using them every time! read more

I'm extremely disappointed with this tailor. I took in a bridesmaid dress that needed taken in in the bodice area and shortened about 6 inches. When I returned to pick up my dress on the date we had agreed upon (2 full weeks later!), he had NOT EVEN STARTED IT! I drove all the way to the establishment, with my 2 year old, and not only was it not ready for me to pick up, it still had all of the pins in it. I let that go and said I could come back the next day. When I returned, the dress was ready but I should have tried it on there because he did not do a good job. The dress got taken in too much on the sides and is still too long. Thankfully it still fits, just more snug than I'd like. Also, the area under the bodice is now puckering, which tells me that he did a half-ass job after already not having it ready on the original pick up date. I will definitely not be going back. I recommend you take your business elsewhere. read more

I've been looking for a good alterations place. I've had alterations done through dry cleaners, but I like that these are done on site. I had a rather difficult task...a pair of jeans that needed 5 inches off the waist. Not only do the pants fit right now, but you cannot tell that they were altered. They look perfect! They still fit everywhere else, too! The only reason I did not rate them 5 stars is the price....but I am a firm believer in that you get what you pay for! read more

Happy to have found this place. Although it's a bit more convenient to just ask for alterations at my dry cleaners, they provide better and quicker service here for lower prices. For example, it's $12 and a week and a half to let the hem out of a pair of jeans at my cleaners but here it is $9 and just a couple of days. You also know that the measurements will be right when you come here. They are reasonable and hard working. I like that you can get fitted for personal measurement if you need something tailored as well. read more

This was the worst idea ever they messed up and blamed it on me which shocked me because of the customer service. I brought in a short sleeve shirt to have the sleeves shortened. They also had to be taken in because the sleeves got wider as you moved towards the shoulder. The gentleman agreed and said it would be done Monday, so I paid and left. I went to pick it today and they only shortened the sleeves. When I tried it on, the sleeves were about 2" wider and looked foolish. When I asked him to finish the job, he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. When I reminded him about our conversation, he began raising his voice while denying everything. With other customers waiting behind me, I decided to leave and find help somewhere else. I have mixed feelings about this place. A friend and I took our bridesmaids dresses here to have them altered. He quoted me $80 for shortening the length of the dress and replacing the zipper. My friend was quoted $90 for taking the dress in (too large in her waist) and shortened the length. He said it would take a week for both dresses. When I went to pick up, the dresses weren't ready and he told me to come back later in the day. This was incredibly inconvenient for me. When I returned, my dress was $40 more than he quoted. My friends was $50 more. He said it was taxes and that it also took more labor than he thought it would. When I went to pick up earlier that day, he seemed as if he had forgotten about them and hadn't started on them yet. I was confused about the extra labor but paid anyways. The work was flawless which is why I gave a mixed review. However, I will not be returning here because of unexpected increase of bill. read more

Only reason it gets 2 stars is for the reimbursement I received. I took a bridesmaid dress in to get tailored. I needed the straps sewn on and for it to be taken in about 1/2 an inch on each side. He said it would take about 5 days for it to be completed. When I came in to pick it up, the straps were not sewn on. I told him that i had paid already and this was part of the cost. He told me 30 minutes and it would be finished. I come back 30 minutes later and try on the dress. It had been taken in at LEAST an inch and a half on each side. He said it would be another 30 minutes to fix. When I came in the third time, I tried the dress on and while doing so noticed a spot at the bottom of my dress that hadn't been there before. It looked like he tried ironing it and realized when he placed the iron down that the material would not do well. It left a large burn mark on the front of my dress. When I told him about this and asked him to fix it he blamed me, then went on to say it was just water and then again blamed me stating it was like that when I brought it in. WRONG. He refused to give my money back and after numerous minutes of frustration I grabbed the dress and walked out. After an angry call from my husband later that evening, I received a call from his friend John in NY who acted as his translator. He ended up speaking with me and talked with the owner and got me a full refund. Luckily I am tall and was able to stand in the back of pictures during the wedding that Saturday. My husband took in his suit to get tailored and this place completely botched up his suit pants. Mr. Kim (tailor and owner) took in the waist so much that the pockets puckered and the right leg seam was so messed up that the pant leg appeared lop-sided. He also messed up the hem of both legs, so bad that my husband looked like he was wearing a pair of pants from his teenage years. He requested no break on the hem, but what he got was "high-waters". The worst was when we brought the issues to Mr. Kim's attention, he was very argumentative with me and my husband and had the audacity to blame the irregularities of the pants on my husband's body. He was not willing to admit that there was a problem and that it was due to the piss poor workmanship. When we asked to fix the problem, Mr. Kim said that it would be an additional cost to fix it. We already were paying over $100 in alterations, and now he was asking for more... you can imagine how infuriating it was dealing with him. Finally we asked for him to fix hem and wound up taking the pants to another tailor to fix what he messed up. All in all, we were very disappointed in the service and workmanship of this tailor and will not EVER bring our business here again! read more
