I'd like to start this review by first thanking Ky, Vu, Tristian and all the staff from Kee's Auto Body for everything they've done for my baby (Honda Civic Si 09 FA5). I was rear ended one evening (hit and run) and was on the search for a great Body shop that was local since I'm new to the area. Referred here by a close friend and I'm very thankful for being able to stumble across this one of a kind spot. Needed a quote, Ky told me to come in whenever was convient for me which I went asap. Quick quote, very modest amount which I eagerly agreed. Gave me the run down of what the process would be and how long it'd take. Gave the man my keys and ran down the street because Enterprise is just a couple buildings down! (They have a shuttle service but I didn't mind walking) Since my car was in the shop I decided to add a few modifications as well, Ky took care of me with the install of my new body kit. In short, Kee's is absolutely the best auto body shop you will ever utilize. Unlike many shops, Kee's will work with you earnestly and in complete good faith to repair your vehicle and will do so in a manner which caters to you (rather than the auto insurance company being billed). Where other shops will provide you with poor service and over-the-top assessments, Kee's offers excellent service every step of the way. Really. In my experience Kee's is simply the greatest auto body repair shop in existence and I can't stress enough what a refreshing change of pace this place is after the endless BS of pretty much every other repair place we've ever gone to. Kee's is a place which offers prompt, friendly, informative, affordable, and very professional service every step of the way. My only concern with Kee's is the fact that the front office is a bit musty due to water damage clearly visible in part of the ceiling. Other than that one point, which only a mold-sensitive individual like me will notice, Kee's is, like the Buddha whose philosophy and virtues they extoll and emulate, perfect (or as close to perfect as we mere mortals can get). They repaired our car quickly, kept us well-informed throughout the entire process (unlike certain other local shops who clearly could care less about offering information), did an amazing job, got the insurance company to pay :) returned our vehicle to us far cleaner than we dropped it off, and did so at a price that was fair. I cant speak for the work, only because they didnt want to help me. I went in the to have my 65 mustang painted and the guy at the front felt I couldnt afford their work. when I asked him for a quote he said "its pretty expensive, this is not a macco shop, you know?" He was hesitant to even ask his boss how much, then after that he said his boss doesnt even want to paint my car and wouldnt give me 30 seconds to tell me his price or why he wont. I had my caddy painted twice once candy and the second iridescent., but I guess I looked to poor for conversation! read more

Good service straight forward value

I had a minor fender bender and stopped by Kee's to get it checked out. Vu greeted me without an appointment and took the time to check out the rear bumper and quote me a replacement (rear-ended, so produced a complete replacement in case I wanted to go that route). I personally decided to keep the fix minimal with respect to the other party, so the shop took me in on a Friday morning, realigned the bumper, buffed it out, and it looks like nothing ever happened. In and out in 30 minutes, and I even had my 1.5 year old daughter hanging out with me in the waiting room. Perhaps the waiting area could use an upgrade - cable TV, single-cup coffee maker, new couches - but it's a shop, so it is what it is. Overall, Vu was super friendly, helpful, and honest, which is everything I want from a repair shop. I can't recommend these guys enough and will be back in the future if I have anymore run-ins that need repair! read more

All I can say is WOW!! My car was fresh from an accident when I took it into Kee's. Over $5,000 in damages and they looked over my car with ease. Not only did they always keep me in the loop of the status of my car while they were working on it, but they also let me know about other parts of the car that were damaged within it. They were so helpful and are always looking for their customers best interest. When I came to pick up my car, it looked AMAZING!! As if it had never been in an accident in the first place! The manager gave me a guarantee that if I'm not satisfied, I can bring my car back and they'll fix whatever it is that I'm not happy with. I HIGHLY recommend anyone and everyone to come here! Not only do they keep the customer informed, they work with your insurance and they also work with you on your deductible. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the manager is amazing as well. Kee's auto body are extreme professionals. From front office to the garage, these guys all put forth great detail in their work. First, their estimates were hundreds of dollars cheaper than my prior 4 quotes at other auto body shops. Second, they broke down the price for me as far as what was necessary/ immediate repairs and secondary/passible repairs...helpful for me if I chose to pay outside of our insurance. Also, since my car took slightly longer to repair due to an unforseen repair, they made sure to keep me in the loop as far as when to expect my car back. At the very end, they even knocked down the price below my deductible! Special thanks to the front office guy, Vu...personable and caring. Kee's Auto Body shop was a wonderful experience as I went to get my car inspected. They were very professional about their craft and took the time to inspect my car. They asked me what I wanted and was able to fix it on the spot. I was lucky because they were able to fix my scrap on the side of my car in a matter of minutes. They gave me a very fair price for their time and I was on my way. I cannot thank them enough for how quick and efficient they were and how they were concerned about what I wanted. I can confirm these people did a quality job at a reasonable price.

Had some minor front end damage and Kees told us the car was a total, frame was bent, and we should not drive it as it was not safe. It had been driven home from Tahoe with the damage and I suspected this may not be correct. We took the car to two other shops AND had CSAA's estimator take a look under the carriage and all of them said there was NO damage to the frame. Had the car fixed and only the grill and brackets needed replacement. The bumper was even able to be repaired and repainted. I would never come back to this shop after getting dishonest advise. read more

They saved my car! My '97 BMW 328is was rear ended bad enough to bend up the trunk and the body panel below it, but the frame was fine. The trunk could not close properly. Kee's had many 5 star reviews here and their estimate was very competitive and doable by my insurance. They kept me updated on their site and called me whenever there were major milestones. The paint match was pretty good and they even fixed a small dent while they were blending in the paint. It's not perfect, but no one could see it unless they were looking for it. It was close, but they managed to save my car from a salvage title, which I am extremely grateful for. They are also AAA approved, so it was seamless working with my insurance from AAA. We had a little accident in a parking lot. The metal on the back left side of our Volvo was not really dented but a lot of paint was scraped off. We went to Kee's Auto Body based on its sterling Yelp reviews. They did not disappoint. When they got through the color match seemed perfect; we couldn't detect any difference between the color of the repainted area and the color of the rest of our car. Kee and Vu are both helpful and friendly. Kee even suggested we buy touch-up paint from our Volvo dealer so we could get an exact color match if we needed to touch up any small scratches on it in the future. He offered to put it on for us for free if we needed him to put it on for us. We give Kee's Auto Body a high recommendation. read more

My parked car was hit and the man who hit me did not want to go through his insurance. I got a quote from the last auto body shop I used and was surprised at how high it was. Thanks to yelp I decided to get a 2nd quote from Kees. Vu gave me really great advice and helped me though the entire process. Kees quote was $300 lower. They came through and got my car back in 2 work days (2-3 days estimated). AND, here's the part where they get an extra 5 stars... I got the message that my car was ready after they had closed... I tried my luck and called after hours, Vu answers! I was bummed when he told me their hours were 8am-6pm, (since I have to be at work at 8am the next day) and he OFFERED to wait for me! WOW! How awesome it that! And that's how you get repeat customers and awesome yelp reviews! You're the best Vu! Had a pretty minor "scuff" on front bumper, paint removed, but no damage to the bumper. Two other estimates said it would be over 3 hours of labor to remove the bumper to do the work, in addition to the labor for the painting, adding up to about 8 hours of labor and therefore a HUGE bill for the actual minor damage. Kee's was able to do a spot job for less then 1/3 of the cost of the other estimates and the job looks GREAT! Exactly what we were looking for, at a very fair price, and they did the job in one day. Very professional. Of course no one wants car troubles, but I would actually look forward to doing business with them and feel great that I am getting a fair deal. read more

These guys are awesome. Not only do they work with AAA, but the are straightforward about what your car needs and what it doesn't. They even noticed my tires were low and filled them for me free of charge. They will keep your car overnight if you need to drop it off at night because your schedule doesn't work to drop it off in the morning. They do on the spot estimates and a accurate with them. I had a terrific experience with this place, I don't think I've ever experienced such professional and down to earth customer service.

Since I moved to the Bay Area I haven't been driving as much, so my car is like new, but after several parking scrapes, it sure didn't look it. I finally took my car to Kee's after hitting the back bumper hard enough to damage the frame. I brought in my car on a Saturday morning for an estimate and got a quick quote from Kee for the bumper work and some scratches on the side of the car. I brought my car back on Tuesday morning and they gave me a ride to the BART so I'd make it to work on time. On Thursday they let me know the car was ready, but I was at work at the time, so on Friday morning they picked me up to come get my car. Unfortunately after checking the car over when I got home, I noticed the scratches on the side had been missed. I called and they told me to bring the car back in. I brought it back Saturday morning and Kee came out to meet me and took my keys. They quickly buffed out the scratches and turned back over the keys. The car looks like brand new again and I'm so relieved and thankful for their beautiful work and excellent service. Hopefully I have better luck parking, but if not, I'd bring it back to Kee's. read more
