Not all 5-star reviews are equal, I learned this from Johnny! He promptly responded to my initial text, in which he promptly informed me that he was not available for same day service. This is a good sign, a good locksmith will likely be busy taking care of his current customers? Johnny came by a little earlier than agreed but only after calling me first to confirm it works for me. Not text, but called!!! I actually was thrilled he could come earlier. Back story: I had another 5-star review locksmith come out a few days ago charged me $100 for the unsuccessful visit... basically made a key for the Simplisafe Smarlock (battery died and I couldn't find the keys) but couldn't open the lock. Keep Calm came to our rescue. We have a 1930s home with very old hardware and locks. After 90 years, our lock finally decided to seize up right before we were about to take a 2 week trip. I called them, they arrived the same day (even offered some tips to try and fix it ourselves over the phone), took the lock back to their workshop, fixed the lock with new parts and I stalled it the next morning.
