I have a few years of driving tow truck for a repo business. I've repo'd over 1300 vehicles. So I've seen all the issues and then some, of people having bad situations happen when they're vehicle is towed. So, I'm very skeptical when i call a tow company. What loser are they gonna send me in 5 hours right??? Well, i couldn't have been more wrong. Johnny @ KB towing was a consumate professional from the second he answered the phone. Intelligent, well spoken, polite, and very personable. Can't say enough about the man. He also showed up super fast, like 30 minutes. For a tow truck? That's almost unheard of. So i really appreciated his response time. And I watched him loading my BMW 335i very carefully, because I've seen too many vehicles damaged by towing. And every thing he did was perfect. He took excellent care of my car loading and unloading it, as well as being a very safe and attentive driver on the road. And after all was finished, he was very reasonable on the price as well. Many places would have charged me much more than he did. Literally the other shop wanted 100 dollars more... thank God I didn't go with them. I just had the most amazing experience with KB Towing Services. I unfortunately locked my keys in my car. After trying everything I could to get my car I was very frustrated, got on Yelp, and put in a request for a locksmith to come get my car open. Literally within 30 seconds of posting what I was needing I received a call from the owner of KB Towing Services. He was empathetic to my situation, asked some questions, and said he could be at my house in 90 minutes. He arrived right on time. He was am extremely personable and had great attention to detail. He talked me through everything he was doing and I appreciated the banter. He literally got the door open in less than 2 minutes (my car had some things that made it difficult so I bet on a different car he would have had that open in 30 seconds.) During our talk he gave me some pointers which I appreciated. He also apolozied that he took so long to get here but he came from a town well over an hour away. He drove all that way to just to unlock my vehicle. This just goes to show how much they love their customers. KB Towing Services far exceeddd my expectation. Johnny was the kindest man! My car suddenly blacked out on the 205- everything stopped working but thankfully I was able to put the car in neutral and pull over safely. A few minutes later- as I was trying to call AAA- Johnny pulled over in front of me with his bright tow truck lights. I was nervous that since my car went black- no one would see me. But he did and he helped others to see me, too. Johnny offered to tow my car and have AAA reimburse me and he waited for almost twenty minutes with me while I called AAA to see if they would honor this. The AAA agent said she couldn't guarantee it so I was nervous to pay out of pocket and not get reimbursed and Johnny said, no problem, you have my number, if they don't come soon, call me and I will come back. I felt very safe and thankful that he stopped and offered to help. I didn't end up using him but I wish I would have. I talked to another AAA agent today and she said that they would have reimbursed me. Thank you so much for stopping and helping me feel safe in a very scary situation, Johnny. I didn't get the guy's name but he's incredible! My car flashed a tire warning sign while I was on the freeway. This car is new to me so I pulled over and was stressing about trying to get back to San Jose since I had no clue what the warning meant and looking it up online was even more stressful because everyone was saying to get it towed ASAP. I had no clue what to do since I was an hour out from San Jose. I didn't even get to the point of requesting a tow but he showed up and pulled off to the side and offered his help. He looked at my tires and his disposition was so friendly and kind which alleviated a lot of the stressful situation. He offered his expertise on what the warning means and said he could tow me to a shop, but also said he believed I'd be fine going to San Jose since it was a sensor warning and my tires seemed to have enough air. He gave me options without pressure which I greatly appreciated. I have no clue what I would have done if he didn't stop and I'm glad I don't have to know. The dispatch/manager John was very helpful and accommodating. He patiently waited as my nephew got the money and the location to tow his vehicle all lined up. Johnny the Driver was a professional throughout the whole ordeal, he very quickly assessed the situation and walked my nephew through the whole process, patiently waiting as my nephew explained what happened to his vehicle, ( it was stolen) , how it ended up where it was, and where he needed to have it towed to. I broke down on the freeway near Tracy, with electrical issues, and Johnny of KB Towing was dispatched by my insurance company. What good fortune! Johnny was prompt, friendly, professional, and just a super kind honest person. Together we diagnosed my issue (alternator and/or battery), and he towed me to a Livermore mechanic. This was a Friday night, with every shop closed, and he was genuinely concerned that I could get serviced. He called twice the next day to see if I was OK, and if I'd found a solution. He offered to tow me back to Tracy, if necessary, as he had lined up a mechanic who was willing to fix my car on Sunday if necessary to get me back home. From the first initial phone call to the very end the service Johnny provided was phenomenal to say that least. Today was 100 degrees outside and my car shut down on me with no ac so inside my car it was probably 110 degrees minimum, Johnny called me back with constant updates on his ETA and got to where I was within 25 minutes, mind you I was out side of the city stuck in a construction site and he still found a way to get to me. KB Towing was awesome. I got flat tire on the way to work. Called KB Towing at 7:45am and spoke to Johnny. He gave an estimated time of 40 mins but he showed up within 25 mins. He also showed me another auto shop which had cheaper quote than the one I was going to, but the new shop did not have the same tires as mine (still good to know more ). My husband and I called today because we had a tire blowout on our jeep we were towing with our RV. We tried to go through our RV insurance but there was at least a 2 hour wait!
