We called a couple of towing services, I even tried AAA and they were non-responsive. I called Johnny at KB. He looked the situation over and towed us from Tracy to Walnut Creek. This was late at night and we were just happy to be home He took extra time to make sure he didn't scratch the bottom of the car or any parts of the car. I drive a Porsche so I was concerned about that and he was very good about that. My wife and I and Johnny had a great conversation all the way back to Walnut Creek where he unloaded our car I hope they never need a towing service again in Tracy, but if I do, I will absolutely call Johnny at KB.

The same website apparently had an old or wrong number. I don't really like leaving reviews unless something's absolutely terrible or 5 stars. I'm not a car guy, but the service seems very good. Did a walk-in on late April and got my 2000 Sienna XLE's A/C evaluated, recharged, and ready to go within the hour. I recharged it in anticipation of a long drive along the 1 from the bay to San Diego and back. I believe it was Ed? Gave me pointers on my components and warned me it'll soon likely need to be replaced from the squeaking noise from the system at low RPMs after the AC was refilled. Overall good session. About a week later, a day before my trip, the alternator belt wore away, of which I didn't know at the time. I could smell rubber burning for the previous couple of miles, my A/C stopped working, and the battery indicator appeared. I called right when the battery light came on and described the issue, like an hour before closing to see if they'd take me same day and they did. Since I caught the belt failing in time, they advised I'd likely have enough battery remaining to get me to their location and just drive directly to them. Got there, they immediately saw the belt, ordered a new one down the street, and had it replaced also within the hour. (Old belt in photo (I retired the van a couple of months later so no new photos of work)) Overall very satisfied.

Fred, who is both the owner…read moreand driver, came to tow my 2015 Tesla Model S when the doors wouldn't open and the car was completely unresponsive. I planned to take it to Tesla service to figure out the issue, but Fred went above and beyond to help. In front of my house and driveway, Fred removed part of the front bumper cover to access the jumper terminals located behind it, since the battery is in the frunk bay and completely inaccessible when the car doesn't respond. He tried jumping the car with his jumper pack, and when it didn't work initially, Fred didn't give up. He called me back over and explained that he used an override setting on his jumper to bypass the car's battery entirely, which finally got the car powered up. Based on this, Fred hinted that the issue was likely just the 12V battery needing replacement. He was careful to clarify that this wasn't mechanical or repair advice, but his insight was incredibly helpful. Once the car powered on and the doors opened, I asked if I could drive it around the block to confirm everything was working, and Fred let me do so. Sure enough, everything worked as expected, saving me the hassle and cost of a tow and likely saving me hundreds--if not thousands--of dollars. Despite not needing the tow in the end, I still paid Fred the full fee and tipped him extra because he put my needs above his own. Fred was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind--qualities that are rare to find these days. Damage caused during tow - refusing responsibility…read more I used this towing company and during the tow process my vehicle's window was broken. The damage was not present before the tow. Since then, I've been trying to resolve this the right way. A claim was opened with their insurance, and I was informed their own insured (the towing company) has not been cooperating by providing basic documentation (vehicle registration confirmation), which is now delaying or blocking payment for the damage they caused. I have emails from the claims adjuster confirming that they are waiting on the towing company and that the delay is not on me. Despite this, the towing company has refused to take responsibility or make things right. Accidents happen--but refusing accountability and dragging things out is unacceptable. If you value your vehicle and expect a business to stand behind their actions, be very cautious before using this company. I will update this review if they resolve the damage properly.
