The owner, Kay, took our orders & I made chit chat with her. What an amazing woman! THE RESTAURANT: While it is pretty small in here (think if you sneeze walking by, you'll miss it!) the place is very laid back & warm feeling. I finally made it here. The owner, Kay, said after Covid, she cut back the diner's hours, things were slow to come back. THE FOOD: My husband got the #1-scrambled, with a pancake, coffee is included & here ordered an orange juice. I ordered the #2- over medium with sausage & rye toast, coffee is included. The food was delicious! As we sat at the counter, talking to Kay, I noticed that the seats were comfortable & not lumpy & bumpy like most counter seats. The coffee was Omar coffee but also good. Kay told us they make the pancakes from scratch daily. I watched her make the home fries, also from scratch. This place is definitely a must visit if you want to try a throw back from the days when you walked in and people were nice & kind & genuinely just wanted to be friendly. Prices are decent, too.

My only real knock is that portion sizes felt a bit light, and it'd be nice if sandwiches came with a side rather than having to order everything à la carte. Still a great budget-friendly option when you need something fast.

I recently had breakfast at Deb's for the first time. It felt like a country restaurant. Deb is…read morehands on and interacts with the customers. Her friendliness and charm are definitely a big selling point. Top tier. There is inside table and counter seating, and covered outside seating as well. The space is appropriate for the type of restaurant, but it's more functional than fancy. Deb's is open for breakfast and lunch. I ordered sausage gravy and biscuits, over medium eggs and spicy home fries. The food was well executed. The eggs had a bit of run as I like, but they were over medium as ordered. The biscuits were solid. The gravy had big chunks of tasty sausage. The home fries were tasty. It says a l lot that I only planned to eat half of the food, but I couldn't stop eating it. If you're interested in an old school, country-style breakfast or lunch served by people who make you feel welcome, Deb's is a place to check out. 4.5 Stars

We sat in the outdoor seating. They brought Lily water in a nice clean dog dish right away. Food was very good, and satisfying, and very reasonably priced. Lily liked the bacon in the Western Omelette. Inside the patron at the breakfast bar were very friendly and helpful with info about the area. Close car ride to the ferry boat cross and Guilettes Castle Park. You should go!
