Absolutely adore this place! This location is conveniently located in danforth and there are so much variety here. You can buy the tubs to go as well! They don't hold back on the portioning. Their kiddie size is a full on big scoop! Be sure to sample some before you make the purchase. There are so many staffs and they're all very friendly and smiling while serving you. Will return for sure!

Kawartha's first Toronto location is coming in with a bang. There's every flavour you want, the scoop size is all caps worthy HUGE (I'm flabbergasted how insanely big the baby size serving is), the price is reasonable, the people are super friendly, and there are even tables to sit and enjoy your scoops. I know icecream is a summer thing, but I can see this place being busy the whole year through.

New spot on the Danforth serving up Kawartha ice cream, without having to venture North! There was a line-up when we arrived but it went pretty quickly. They have tons of flavours for in-house scoops, and a smaller collection of ice cream tubs for sale at $ 5.99-8.49 each. The baby scoop listed at $5.29 is massive and practically the size of a tennis ball! For $1 more, you can get two scoops this size, and for another $1, you get 3 scoops! I shared a baby scoop with my partner and we both felt full at the end of it. The price is fair for what you get, but I would've preferred a smaller scoop for half the price so I could try more flavours. The store also sells merch and snacks all along the sides of the walls while you're waiting in line.

The giant size is 3 full scoops!

Super friendly, fresh ice cream, lots of take home sizes & reasonably priced! Also have other dairy groceries. Order the HUGE size + extra cups and save $ for the whole group!

If you like ice cream and an over the top experience this is the place to visit. I never knew a…read moreplace like this existed in Toronto, although I've always been fascinated by the exterior of this place. This is a frozen dessert emporium! With more ice cream and frozen yogurt flavours than you can imagine. And at least 20 waffle cone and bowl options. Looking at pictures from last year, it appears the waffle cone options change regularly as well. But they don't give you just any ice cream cone. They surprise you with additional toppings! How to feel like a kid again (except my kid who didn't appreciate the extra toppings). When we arrived, there was no line and I thought "why are there three people behind the counter?" From that point on there was a line up out the door. The place itself is a feast for the eyes. There is so much to look at, it's hard to focus on eating. Although ice cream and frozen yogurt are their specialty, they also have Dutch goods, popcorn and a wide variety of drinks. It does feel like a European cafe in the middle of Toronto. Fresh air blowing through the open doors. One interesting thing I learned is that the ice cream is kosher (the frozen yogurt is not?). Someone mentioned it was outlined somewhere on the outside of the building. Also, the only negative feature of this place is the number of bees both inside and outside. As someone terrified of bees, this was a nightmare. Thankfully, there is so much sugar around that they don't focus on anything for any significant length of time. This place is a gem in the city. It does not get enough recognition. You love ice cream? You need to check this place out!

Even with that there are 3 or 4 tables for to enjoy treat and about a dozen Jones and waffle bowl options to choose from. They even carried hard to find speculoos cookies from Holland, a childhood treat, that I 'scooped up' and appreciated. Staff was super friendly and happy to be serving, which was extra nice. A treat and special place for certain, but worth a stop by when your nearby.
