First off, I love that this is a Black-owned, woman-owned business, and the ladies there truly have the sweetest energy. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and taken care of. There are so many teas to choose from, which makes the experience really fun. I also thought it was super cool that they offer loose-leaf teas for purchase, along with strainers so you can create your own little tea setup at home. They also have a few pastry options, and even coffee for anyone who may not be into tea. My friend ordered the Moroccan mint tea, and I went with a chai latte. We also shared a vegan blueberry scone and a pistachio croissant--everything was absolutely delicious. I'm definitely planning to come back and explore more of the menu, and I already have my eye on picking up some tea to enjoy at home. This spot is a gem for sure.

Mmmmm, coffee ;-)…read more This CCC is a training center (not retail) mainly for their retail partners and some for public. This is a review of my first cupping (tasting) of their regularly held Tastings at Ten on Fridays. ++. Ambiance is industrial chic loft. One of many businesses inside King Plow Arts Center, to arrive at CCC, one must walk through a maze of updated historic industrial buildings. Appears to be a mix use space of businesses, arts and event venues. Well preserved history, hip cool artsy vibe. ++ Coffee cupping was wonderful! It took about 90 minutes and they answered questions after the tasting. I learned about coffee history, processing, Gesha coffee and found my first CCC roast to my liking!. Surprisingly I found it similar to wine making but with much less tradition and regulation. Enjoyable this blind cupping was. +++. Price is free for this event and they offer some that are fee based open to public. Check their web site. +++ Service was super! There were 3 CCC employees who led and shared their wealth of knowledge. Impressive they were to a kindly address a wide range of coffee drinkers. +. Parking is paid garage at King Plow Art Center. The parking deck is south of KPAC and is time based. It was $10 for over 90 minutes. Overall, It's a short walk from the parking lot and CCC wasn't difficult to find. There isn't any signs to get there as it's one of many business renting at KPAC. I enjoyed the blind tasting and am planning to attend another event to explorer CCC's roasts!

Traffic was pretty heavy that morning, and when I finally pulled up, I didn't see an open space right away. For a second, I thought about leaving, but I'm glad I didn't. Parking is actually pretty easy once you know the options--there's a garage nearby and street parking too. As soon as I walked in, I knew this was the kind of place I'd be excited to work from. I ordered a matcha latte and spotted the perfect seat by the window--it felt like it was waiting for me. The vibe was calm and creative, with just the right energy for working or people-watching along the BeltLine. The music was on point too, though it really depends on who's working--some days the playlist is an A+. My only real issue? The outlets. They were there, but during my first few visits, the ones at the booths didn't work. Maybe that's been fixed by now, but at the time it was the only thing that missed the mark. Still, this spot easily makes my list of favorite places to post up for a few hours. Between the matcha, the ambiance, and the overall vibe--it's an easy yes for me.

The…read moreCrunchwrap was $9, and the combination of egg, hash brown, cheese, and their special sauce wrapped inside a toasted tortilla was delicious. Everything worked really well together, and I can definitely understand why it gets so much attention. I also tried one of their seasonal iced coffees for $6.50 that was inspired by a root beer float. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but it was so good! It actually reminded me of a root beer float while still tasting like coffee, which made for a fun combination. Customer service was great. The cashier was friendly, welcoming, and answered all of my questions while I was deciding what to order. The coffee shop itself has a casual, comfortable atmosphere with plenty of seating. I could easily see myself coming here with my laptop and getting some work done. My only little complaint was that it was VERY cold inside, so I'd probably bring a sweater next time! Parking was also a plus. There's street parking available as well as plenty of parking in the shared lot, so finding a spot wasn't an issue during my visit. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at PERC. The Crunchwrap lived up to the hype, my seasonal coffee was delicious, and the service was friendly. My only hesitation is the pricing. At $9 for the Crunchwrap and $6.50 for the coffee, I thought both were a little pricey for what they were. I enjoyed everything enough that I'd still come back, but the value keeps this from being a five-star experience for me.

Location and Parking Perc has a few locations, I have been to the location in Tucker, I am currently writing this review while at the East Lake location, which is located at the intersection of Hosea Williams Drive and Second Ave. There are a few spaces to park on the street but there is also a parking lot with plenty of free spaces. Venue and Atmosphere From the first time I stepped in to Perc, they had me. From the bright colors of the coffee bags, to the airiness of the space and the great playlist (think Snoh Aalegra, Thee Sacred Souls, and Cleo Sol). At the East Lake location there is plenty of seating inside, and also outside seating, which I opted for both times that I came, gotta enjoy this good weather right? Food and drinks I had the same thing both days, the Good Times Latte with a little extra syrup and the Crunch Wrap. I am not being dramatic when I say that the Crunch Wrap is hands down one of the BEST breakfast items I've had at any coffee shop I've been to. That probably sounds like hyperbole, but at one point I was going to a new coffee shop every week, so I promise it's not. It's eggs, cheese, hash browns, your choice of sausage or bacon (can't go wrong with either), and their special Perc sauce wrapped into a tortilla and griddled to perfection, and from the first bite to the last perfection it is. The latte is made with their in house vanilla lavender syrup and it is just the perfect amount of sweetness that I like. Service Service is fast and friendly, and they will complement your outfit, so wear something cool. Verdict If coming back twice in a row isn't an indicator that I plan to be a regular here then I'm not sure what is lol. Come here for the coffee and food, stay for the vibes. I know I will! Until next time!

My drink came out much faster than expected, no complaints at all, I was just surprised in a good way. The coffee was smooth with zero bitter taste and the black sesame provided a rich creamy flavor (don't forget to stir your drink so you get the full profile). Parking was easy as well; they have a free lot right next to the building with and it was packed but still had several open spots.
