They've always been happy to do glasses adjustment for free, and really helped out when I bought what seems to be a frame with a design defect (they broke 3 times in the same place when I was using it normally and didn't drop or sit on them or anything like that-- most recebtly within a week of replacement). They went out of their way to make it right. I've found they've made a real effort to help me figure out what best suits my needs (transitions, lens type, etc), rather than what might make them the most profit-- which is sadly pretty rare nowadays. I highly recommend them!

Everything about this business is fantastic! It started with my exam with optometrist Dr. Osako,…read morewho explained that the reason why my previous prescriptions were not allowing me to see better is that they were too strong. My last optometrist strengthened my previous prescription because I'd said I couldn't read fine print on my TV, but what they needed to do was correctly assess my vision, which (surprisingly!) had improved. Now, with Dr. Osaka's new prescription, I can actually see again, thank goodness! And yesterday, when I went to pick up my glasses, Jacqueline, the general manager, went well out of her way to take care of me. She was so friendly and kind, and shetreated me with such warmth, dignity, and respect. I am so grateful to her and to Tim, the super-friendly and clearly talented lab technician who took care of an important need I had for my new lenses. All in all, I am thrilled that I have found such a terrific optometrist office! I love my wonderful new glasses and the beautiful case that came with them, and I LOVE the fact that I can finally see! Thank you all at Friedman Optometry!

Jacqueline immediately worked to correct the error in the rebates that I was supposed to receive for my contact lens order. She consistently followed up with Friedman Optometry's contact lens representative to speed up the rebate process, and she also checked in with me daily to assure me that the issue was actively being worked on. After less than a week, I received the full amount that I was owed, along with an extra supply of contact lenses to make up for the delay. I appreciate Jacqueline's diligence and her efforts to make things right.

I trusted Dr. Lee so much for her honesty and thoroughness that I stayed with this clinic for years, even though I knew their prices were higher than other places. However, I recently realized how much I was overcharged by the store manager. My daughter's vision insurance allows us to apply the frame allowance toward contact lenses if we don't buy frames, making the contact lenses much cheaper. Yet, the store manager told me contacts were not covered at all and charged me full price out-of-pocket. Furthermore, our insurance actually covers high-index (compressed) lenses, but the manager lied, claiming high-index lenses weren't covered, and made me pay around 3-400 every time. I admit it was my mistake for not fully checking our insurance policy beforehand. But as a long-term, loyal patient, I expected honesty at the very least. Today, I went to the UCI Health Optometry Clinic, used our insurance properly, and saved a lot of money. While I still deeply respect Dr. Lee, the way the store manager runs the business is completely unacceptable. I am beyond disappointed.
