Based on the positive reviews, I knew everyone would be friendly, but Dr. Kanami Lo and the entire team genuinely went above and beyond. I'm typically pretty anxious when I go to the optometrist, but I felt comfortable the second I walked in. Everyone knew their stuff, was patient, and never once pressured me to buy anything I didn't need. I ended up ordering a pair of glasses and contact lenses, which I'm super excited for. Dr. Alvin has great service, is very professional, and I'm always confident about my eye exams when he's done. I have been seeing Dr. Lo since I was a teen, over 20 years. I have tried a handful of other doctors through my insurance, but never felt comfortable with them. Dr. Lo is kind and puts you at ease. So I came here to get my eyes checked but the staff is very rude and unhelpful. The lady at the desk didn't even want to take my insurance and was consistent in not seeing me. She kept saying that she will have to work until midnight if she kept receiving walk in. Please read the other reviews and don't come here unless you want to treated poorly. Dr. Lo is great!!! Unfortunately I did not get to be seeing by Dr. Lo I was seeing by Dr. Lina Lin which is good too no problem, however the front desk Veronica she is terrible. At the beginning okay nice so you can say however at the end horrible. She was charging me a high dollar amount so I asked her is this the total with insurance? and she said well you never say you had insurance. I was shocked with the kind of response. This kind of attitude should not be at the front desk dealing with customers. She is not only young but very rude., not manners, not way to treat anyone. Before my appointment I stop by to see if they cover my insurance because no one was answering the phone and Veronica happen to be at the front desk and she answer yes I said ok thank you is just that I have been calling and no one answer phone was going straight to voice mail.
