I have been seeing Dr. Lo since I was a teen, over 20 years. I have tried a handful of other doctors through my insurance, but never felt comfortable with them. Dr. Lo is kind and puts you at ease. So I came here to get my eyes checked but the staff is very rude and unhelpful. The lady at the desk didn't even want to take my insurance and was consistent in not seeing me. She kept saying that she will have to work until midnight if she kept receiving walk in. Please read the other reviews and don't come here unless you want to treated poorly. Dr. Lo is great!!! Unfortunately I did not get to be seeing by Dr. Lo I was seeing by Dr. Lina Lin which is good too no problem, however the front desk Veronica she is terrible. At the beginning okay nice so you can say however at the end horrible. She was charging me a high dollar amount so I asked her is this the total with insurance? and she said well you never say you had insurance. I was shocked with the kind of response. This kind of attitude should not be at the front desk dealing with customers. She is not only young but very rude., not manners, not way to treat anyone. I had several unpleasant experiences at my ophthalmologist, who gave me two wrong prescriptions after cataract surgery. Despite the fact that it was the unoperated eye, the mistakes said my prescription was much stronger in that eye, and I couldn't order the glasses I wanted online. The second doctor merely covered the first ones' derrier. After these experiences, I realized that the ophthalmologists no longer do eye exams except after surgery, and I should be going to a doctor who does eye exams all day long. I had heard that Dr. Lo was seeing patients despite COVID 19, so returned to Dr. Lo, whom I had seen years ago. What a difference! Sophisticated equipment and glasses I can SEE through!! Been here when Dr.Lo was at the costco location. He takes his time with his patients, no complaints, but Juanita on the other hand, is a different story. Call last week to ask about walk in, juanita told me come in at 2pm. Asked her the price for contact lens exam, she told me the price, I thought it was $89- confused it with glasses exam price at costco, she said " dont know which costco you go to for $89 contact lens exam???" How rude to talk to clients like that???!!! Anyhow, that should be a red flag, so 2pm wasnt a good time for me to go, I asked if she would check my benefits before I arrive. Thinking if Costco is too busy at 11am, then I'll do my shopping and go to Dr.Lo.lo as a good backup. When at costco"s optometry, she said , I had no benefits, I told her I clearly asked before I came, anyhow, didn't want to argue, paid cash and deal with it later. Went to next door to order contacts lens, They said we ran out of benefits too , WTF??? now something is fishy, costco optical called my insurance, found out Dammm Juanita locked my benefits up to her location when I didnt even go there, only asking her to check benefits. DAMM you Juanita, made me spent extra 1-2 hour total extra. Costco optical had call to release benefits back, ask optometry to refund partial, lots of waiting around, etc.JUST CAUSE DAMM JUANITA LIKE TO LOCK PEOPLE BENEFITS FOR WITHOUT APPROVAL,, STOP PLAYING THESE GAMES JUANITA. read more

Why Dr. Lo is my optometrist... Price: The normal eye exam is $49 and $79 if you want contacts. Very reasonable. Convenience: The office is inside Costco right next to the optical department, which has the best prices on eyewear that I've ever seen. That means a lot from a guy that's been wearing glasses since the 2nd grade! Service: Dr. Lo is very friendly and professional. He takes the time to explain what he's doing and also answers all of your questions concerning vision health. This guy works out too so it's funny to see him walking into the office sometimes having just come back from the gym. If I'm not a Costco devotee, maybe I'd go closer to home. However, being that anything worth buying is found in Costco, I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

The receptionist is one of the most kind people I've ever met. I was in a panic to get an eye exam so that I could get new contact before a trip, and she let me rush in and see the doctor after work with about 10 minutes to spare. I truly believe that she will receive a front seat in heaven. The doctor was also amazing. He explained everything with great detail and made me feel so comfortable. I have been going to Dr. Lo at this office for over ten years.He's always been very nice and thorough, his staff is also very nice and helpful. I always run out of contacts before my order comes in and he has no problem providing me with a sample to tide me over which is a big help. The only reason he is losing a star is because sometimes he's too friendly and accommodating to his clients and he'll squeeze them in without an appointment which can sometimes mean a 20-30 min wait for a SCHEDULED appointment.
