Then wanted ANOTHER $275 to fix it!!!! ***UPDATED AT THE END-to respond to their BS reply! HORRIBLE experience and had to leave with very ugly hair. The do NOT know what they are doing and will rob you blind! I went in needing just my roots foiled to a bright vanilla, creamy blonde, like I'VE ALWAYS HAD from other salons. I'm new to the area so had to go to a new salon. My existing hair that was foiled was dry and it was agreed that only my roots would be foiled, and I was told I would leave as a full blonde, literally assured. That was the service to be done. When the foil service was complete I was not allowed to look at it, told it would ruin the surprise and she turned me away from the mirror while she trimmed a straight line just along the bottom of my hair then blow-dried it. FYI, no hair cut was to be done and I told her I was growing it out. I already had my hair trimmed recently. When I finally saw, it was all brown, one solid ugly dark orangey brown color! I was told she could turn it blonde, as I was already guaranteed and discussed in detail, IF I CAME BACK in FIVE WEEKS!!! AND THEN said it would cost me an ADDITIONAL $275!!! Outrageous!!!! She had a ridiculous story that I "needed to use conditioner for 5 weeks before she could finish". Again, the agreed service was to ONLY foil the grow out to match my existing light blonde. There is zero need to "condition" for 5 weeks first!! Utterly absurd!!! I left with ugly hair that I despise and felt robbed of my money on top of it. I complained the next day when it all sunk in even more when I woke up to my horrible hair. My boyfriend thought it was so ugly as well. Not okay. The salon accused me of lying and texted me a photo that was supposedly of my hair and it looks blonde in it. It was obviously photo-edited or the picture was taken, without my knowledge by the way, under a spot light because my hair is NOT blonde. It's orange-brown, all the way through. I could have gone to the grocery store and spent $10 on a box of ugly hair dye to get that awful hair. I texted ACTUAL pics of MY hair when I was accused of lying about the color of my hair and the salon finally agreed to refund my money. BUT, when I saw only $275 was refunded I called back and was told that my haircut cost $65, so they withheld that!! I did NOT ask for or receive a $65 haircut. Ridiculous!! I'm reporting the fraud. They will not respond to my repeated requests for the rest of my money back. NOW I need to find someone else, take time off work which costs me quite a bit, and pay a new person EXTRA to correct my hair. They are truly scammers without skill out to steal unearned money, all while ruining hair. I am embarrassed to go out with this hair and feel so ugly in it. It's just not okay. The extent of their scam was so shocking and violating! UPDATE!!!! You lied in your response! Not surprising. 1. You said you'd foil/bleach my healthy roots. Stating you were not able to bleach my hair is a lie. 2. I did NOT book a haircut online. I CALLED for my appointment. Another lie. 3.I did NOT leave with blonde hair. My new stylist called my hair COPPER colored. 4. Clearly my new stylist could fix your mess. My hair is silky smooth and soft, and it's BLONDE! 5. Your customer service is unacceptable. 6. Your staff needs to go back to beauty school. 7. You still owe me the rest of my money back. You had no right to keep $65 for a non-existent haircut. ESPECIALLY since you refunded the other $275, which was to address how my hair was ruined. The LEAST you could have done was return it all. Tacky and extremely disrespectful. A SCAM! Period. 8. I saw Amy last week for a deva cut. She did what they call a deva halo. Best haircut I've had in a really long time!! I wanted some length off so she pretty much had to start from scratch with my hair. She took her time and didn't make me feel like the fact that my hair is thick that it was taking to long! My hair has the perfect amount of volume in all the right places but best of all all my curls are back to their former glory. She's gotten herself a client for life. In regards to COVID measures. horrible experience. I had a sibling have an appointment with Breanna and when she thought my sister stepped away, she started insulting her and her hair with her co-worker. Insanely unprofessional and disgusting behavior, how can someone claim to be a business and attack their customer? The customer also being a sixteen year old mind you. Even quality wise the work was mediocre. She paid $115 just for her hair to look the same as it did when she walked in. She came in with Matted hair and the stylist cut her hair without the mom being physically there ( barely attempted to get it out which is what's pissing us off) leaving her daughter hysterically crying and charged her 170$ don't waste your money. I wish I could give this salon 0 stars for the service, or lack of service, I received. I had an appointment with Leeanne Gibson at 11:15 today. I got to the salon on time, was shown her "chair" and that was it. After about 10 minutes and no Leeanne, I asked another stylist if Leeanne was in the salon and did she know I was here? The stylist said Leeanne was not in the salon, but she would call her. The stylist told me that Leeanne did not answer, which meant she was likely on her way in. After about 20 minutes past my appointment time I was told I could sit in Leanne's chair to wait. Finally, after 30 minutes of waiting and no update, I simply left the salon. I have never received a call from Leeanne or the salon explaining why Leeanne did not show up. I am very upset about wasting my time and gas! My girlfriend I heard about Kattwalk at their booth at Kent Cornucopia Festival in July of 2022. The booth was promoting a special of $350 for microblading. I asked whether I needed a coupon and the woman representing Kattwalk said I would get the special price by mentioning that I heard about the salon at the festival. Because I had nothing in writing to guarantee the price, I emailed the salon to request microblading and specifically mentioned the special $350 price. They scheduled a consultation for two weeks later and said absolutely nothing about the price. When we went to the consultation, the stylist (Amy) said we could not get the special price without a coupon! I explained what we had been told, but Amy refused to honor the special. I pointed out that the purpose of their special at the festival was to promote their salon to new customers like us. In addition to refusing to honor the advertised price, Amy tried to upsell us to a service costing $500! There were other problems with this salon, but I had had enough and walked out of the consultation. As we were leaving, Amy shouted that she didn't need our business because she was booked solid for two months! I pity her customers. read more

The place is small and clean. I like the atmosphere. The stylists don't really listen to what you request though. I'm very patient, probably because it's not my hair they are cutting- it's my daughter's. But after its been done wrong 3 times, I'm just not willing to pay $35 for a child's cut again. I'm sure they do a great job with adult cuts, but I'm assuming at this point that the reason they don't offer separate pricing for kids is because they don't want children as clients. I can only base my review on a phone call. I had actually never heard of this salon and contacted them looking for advice, input and a consultation. The woman on the other end of the phone seemed to have an attitude and came across very snobby. She seemed knowledgeable, but spoke to me like I was an idiot and she was a know it all. I still wanted to go through with my consultation because I've been desperately looking for a new salon, so I chose to schedule. The phone call and how I was spoken too unfortunately weighed heavy on my heart and mind through the night and I later chose to cancel. I ended up speaking to the same woman when I called and when I said I wasn't looking to reschedule at this time, I was hung up on. Due to this experience, they lost what would have been my business. Ultimately, it costs nothing to be respectful and kind, and based on 2 phone calls this salon would appear to be anything but. read more
