Then wanted ANOTHER $275 to fix it!!!! ***UPDATED AT THE END-to respond to their BS reply! HORRIBLE experience and had to leave with very ugly hair. The do NOT know what they are doing and will rob you blind! I went in needing just my roots foiled to a bright vanilla, creamy blonde, like I'VE ALWAYS HAD from other salons. I'm new to the area so had to go to a new salon. My existing hair that was foiled was dry and it was agreed that only my roots would be foiled, and I was told I would leave as a full blonde, literally assured. That was the service to be done. When the foil service was complete I was not allowed to look at it, told it would ruin the surprise and she turned me away from the mirror while she trimmed a straight line just along the bottom of my hair then blow-dried it. FYI, no hair cut was to be done and I told her I was growing it out. I already had my hair trimmed recently. When I finally saw, it was all brown, one solid ugly dark orangey brown color! I was told she could turn it blonde, as I was already guaranteed and discussed in detail, IF I CAME BACK in FIVE WEEKS!!! AND THEN said it would cost me an ADDITIONAL $275!!! Outrageous!!!! She had a ridiculous story that I "needed to use conditioner for 5 weeks before she could finish". Again, the agreed service was to ONLY foil the grow out to match my existing light blonde. There is zero need to "condition" for 5 weeks first!! Utterly absurd!!! I left with ugly hair that I despise and felt robbed of my money on top of it. I complained the next day when it all sunk in even more when I woke up to my horrible hair. My boyfriend thought it was so ugly as well. Not okay. The salon accused me of lying and texted me a photo that was supposedly of my hair and it looks blonde in it. It was obviously photo-edited or the picture was taken, without my knowledge by the way, under a spot light because my hair is NOT blonde. It's orange-brown, all the way through. I could have gone to the grocery store and spent $10 on a box of ugly hair dye to get that awful hair. I texted ACTUAL pics of MY hair when I was accused of lying about the color of my hair and the salon finally agreed to refund my money. BUT, when I saw only $275 was refunded I called back and was told that my haircut cost $65, so they withheld that!! I did NOT ask for or receive a $65 haircut. Ridiculous!! I'm reporting the fraud. They will not respond to my repeated requests for the rest of my money back. NOW I need to find someone else, take time off work which costs me quite a bit, and pay a new person EXTRA to correct my hair. They are truly scammers without skill out to steal unearned money, all while ruining hair. I am embarrassed to go out with this hair and feel so ugly in it. It's just not okay. The extent of their scam was so shocking and violating! UPDATE!!!! You lied in your response! Not surprising. 1. You said you'd foil/bleach my healthy roots. Stating you were not able to bleach my hair is a lie. 2. I did NOT book a haircut online. I CALLED for my appointment. Another lie. 3.I did NOT leave with blonde hair. My new stylist called my hair COPPER colored. 4. Clearly my new stylist could fix your mess. My hair is silky smooth and soft, and it's BLONDE! 5. Your customer service is unacceptable. 6. Your staff needs to go back to beauty school. 7. You still owe me the rest of my money back. You had no right to keep $65 for a non-existent haircut. ESPECIALLY since you refunded the other $275, which was to address how my hair was ruined. The LEAST you could have done was return it all. Tacky and extremely disrespectful. A SCAM! Period. 8. I had no reason to write this review if it weren't true.

Customer services is really important to her and a customer satisfaction is her priority. In my opinion and based on the cuts and coloring i have had the best part about visiting Melyssa is: 1) her ability to create beautiful color that matches me 2) her remarkable skill to place my highlights or balayage in a way that the color grows out naturally (I can get away for weeks without going back, it always looks amazing when my hair grows out) 3) amazing haircuts that positively shape my face and even when it grows out it maintains a great shape. I do not have control over my work schedule and was not able to confirm I would be able to attend on Thursday so I just received a refund. After I returned to work I was able to confirm I could have Thursday off I scheduled a perm again with Melissa Moore because life happens and everybody deserves a second chance right, plus 5 days would have gone by and the water heater issue should be repaired by then. Just mow Wednesday at 5:30pm, I receive a new message from AGAIN Melissa Moore stating that the water heater is not working and she would beed to reschedule for Sunday. I was completely let down by the lack of professionalism and not taking their business seriously. A week passed and the water heater was not fixed. I opted out to cancel my appointment and receive a refund again. And let Melissa know how let down I felt. Mellissa responce to my message was "you are so rude and there is no space for you on my chair do not schedule with me again". That is completely unprofessional and childish. They have 4.9 stars and maybe I was mot meant to experience their service and rate their performance. Good luck to anyone who is trying to become a new client. I recently went through many bad experiences with my last two salons. But Rachel is by far the best…read moreI've ever had. Bare with me, and Ill tell you why. The first one, in Enumclaw (who is now out of business!) started out great then it turned into the worst service I've ever had(go figure!)There was the time I saw the hair color on my forehead in globs and told her about it to prevent skin stain and she shrugged at me and said, it'll go away just use alcohol. I asked her to quickly remove it, and she rolled her eyes at me and shrugged saying, I guess so. Are you kidding me?! Then, my hair starts to fall out. I'm only 32 at this time. I stopped going after numerous appts ended with bad cuts, bad color, and bad service. Second one was a salon that was highly recommended on Facebook, particularly a certain stylist who was young but showed amazing skills. It started out great, one of the best cuts I've ever had (at first) then my hair fell out in clumps. I was getting a receding hairline! I cried to her and said I didn't know what was wrong, I stopped washing daily, stopped all heat tools, and used high end hair products, yet nothing changed. She had the nerve to look at me and say that I was doing something wrong and that there was nothing she could do, but that I needed to buy more products from her and proceeded to keep dying my hair even though I said I didn't think the dye would be a great idea, but she said it was fine, she wanted to cover my grey. I trusted her. Hair keeps falling out. Then, I was late to an appt once and had to cancel another appt on the same day for an emergency. The receptionist called me and said very rudely that they don't put up with this and if I was to re book I had to pay 50% first. I found this highly ridiculous. Never going back. That's when I found Rachel. I emailed Rachel that my hair was falling out and no one had seemed to care, I felt unheard and treated rudely by my last two stylists, and I needed some real help. Someone with more experience. She immediately emailed me back with compassion and told me that she would be happy to see me asap. I saw her that week, and she immediately noticed how brittle my hair was, despite no heat applied for months, and multiple creams applied every morning. She said it was not my fault, said to trust her with her sensitive but very effective dyes and I did. My hair has stopped falling out! My color is the best its ever been, my cuts are done so professionally, styled to perfection, people stop me and say how gorgeous my hair is all the time. I want to cry writing this, I cant tell you enough how much she has changed my life, and my hair. I'm sorry for the long review, but I really want you all to know how much she has changed my life. I hope she stays around for a very long time, cause shes a keeper! Thank you Rachel!! Lindsay
