It's always best to call the salon, however. before and see if Vicky has time for you so you don't have to sit and wait. She does her best to fit you in even if she's busy. Vicky was awesome. I was able to walk in and was served right away on a Sunday. I got a root touch up and she matched my color well and provided advice on color choice. She had many walk ins come in as she was serving me and she asked them to come back in an hour, in 2 hours. I totally appreciated that she didn't try to handle 2 customers at once, especially since I was just a couple hours away from heading to the airport. This place would've gotten a better review if there was generally better service. For me and my significant other's experience, the greeting and short wait-time were the only things that was a positive experience. On the other hand, as far as the haircut, it was disappointing because when we gave the ideas to the hairstylist, she agree with us. But when it came to her cutting our hair, she was VERY distracted with talking to others, rushed cutting our hair and basically cutting way more than than should be. So overall, all I can say is that if this hairstylist had paid attention and NOT rushed cutting our hair, then I would've given better remarks about this place. read more

Thanh salon is the best in Kent! Even when i used to live in Bothell i would drive down to get my cut from Vicky. You truly won't regret coming here. I'm always iffy about going to a new place but Vicky KNOWS what'll look good on you and she'll keep it real with you if what you come in asking for won't look good on you. My go to for haircuts and when i need to color or touch up my hair! Weekends are of course busy but the ladies are good at what they do and the wait isn't too bad! So I personally have never been to this salon but my fiance has been going here for over a year. I'm usually the one to call to make his appts and they are always very friendly and able to get him in for a hair cut on short notice. Asian guy, pretty skeptical about visiting new places but i've been here about 5 times so far and i've yet to be disappointed. She communicates very clearly with you before the cut and she delivers exactly what you ask for. If she does recommend anything, i'd take her up on the offer. The pretty big downside is that there isn't that many people working usually. Most customers only come for one particular person (owner) so the queue can be pretty long. Recommend early morning on a weekday or after 4pm. Weekends are pretty hectic. read more

Her popularity is well earned so I would suggest making an appointment to see her but even for a long wait time for a walk-in she is 100% worth it. read more
