She told me are wer cutting length off. I said yes, to the shoulder would be okay, that is necessary we could go to the chin. We agreed to the neckline. I said with layers framing my face. I ended up with a 1960s Barbie bubble. A big round balloon around my head. No layers. She hadn't heard a word I said. I have to pull my hair down to reach my chin. I did ask her to put in layers which she did. The actual cut is fine. But not what I asked for. It will take 6 months or more to grow out enough to get what I want. So disappointed.

He listened to what I said, took the photo I showed into consideration, and asked questions along the way. He asked where I part my hair and made sure that the length in front (and back, which was my biggest concern) was to my liking. I LOVE how he cut my hair because it's exactly what I wanted. Give a call to Manhattan Hair, and they will probably be able to fit you in in that day if not in an hour or two. The haircut I got was fine. Just basic but that's really all I wanted anyway. I think I would have paid for a shampoo if the lady had offered, but maybe she didn't have time. There are like 4 or 5 chairs at this place and it looks like they can support several stylists at one time, but when I asked the stylist about it, she indicated that she was now the only one there. So, chalk up another layoff to Covid I guess. In general, the small businesses in Normandy Park are really struggling to hang on, and can use all the support they can get. I think we are all hoping this thing will be over soon, and folks will start coming back to thier local businesses. Till then, please help the small businesses in yoiur neighborhood.
