New storefront and bakery in the heart of Hilo. Reserved parking stalls next to the front door. This location is also next door to Hilo Lunch Shop. Stop on for coffee, bagels, desserts and cute hats or gifts. They're also a few tables for indoor seating. The owner and friend running the front counter were very friendly and personable. Service was quick for our specialty coffee.

She got her green pass go let's go! Her place is beautiful, clean and if you want to support local this the one to do that!

10/10 -- highly recommend! Kind, welcoming staff, a beautiful environment, and an amazing owner. Watching this business grow from markets to a farm stand and now into her own bakery has been truly inspiring. If you're looking to support local, this is absolutely the place to go. Go early -- she sells out fast! She also does custom orders for cakes and has a website now you can submit inquiries! If you love pink, you will love her Beautiful bakery! She supports local businesses inside bringing a farm stand inside I loved visiting and cannot wait to go back! Wish she was in puna! If you need anything desserts this is the one!

Cute mother daughter bakery with cookies, cupcakes, banana breads, cakes and other goodies. So friendly! They helped me decide what the favorites are, which are many! We settled on 2 types of banana bread that was amazing!!! Would definitely get again! Comfortable seating and cute deco inside the bakery! Very nice!

There were lots of treats out, including discounted pastries from the day prior. There was ample parking in the lot, including designated stalls for Cupcakes Boom customers. The shop is very clean with seating inside. I got the cookie butter chai latte. The chai flavor was good, but man this drink was sweet! I generally have a sweet tooth, but even this drink was way too sweet for me. I don't know what I was thinking getting an already sweet drink and adding cold foam on top. That was definitely on me though, and I need to come back to try the same drink less sweetened without the cold foam. Overall, I could tell the drink had good flavor, but it was just really sweet.

Upon visiting there wasn't a single cake for sale (sold out maybe?), only macaron sandwich cookies. I like macarons so I bought 6 different flavors. I think Ube and fruity pebbles were the best. However, I did find the filling in the macarons to be sickly sweet, almost inedible. My partner and I took turns scraping out the filling and just eating the cookies. I personally would not go back for the macarons because how overly sweet they were, but maybe their cakes are better. Just something to keep in mind. The service and ambiance were inviting.

This review is why. We bought two cakes, two mousses and two savory breads. I bought the ladybug because I thought it was cute and I do love raspberry. We go to the car, I am so excited to dig in. I grab the ladybug, and take a bite. Wow that was so good. I kept eating it and each bite got better and better. The chocolate mousse surrounds a delicious raspberry middle that has BLUEBERRIES INSIDE! Absolutely divine. There is hardened chocolate to make the design and the crunch adds to the deliciousness. Every bite was delicious and the worst part was when I finished the lady bug I had no more left:(. The raspberry lingered in my mouth and I got to have the delicious taste in my mouth. I wish I bought more. This was so good and if you like raspberry, this will brighten your day like it did mine. I hope anytime I am in the area they are stocked because this is a delightful light treat that fills you up with yummy goodness!! We got the lilikoi and coconut cake. So delicious!! We also got the mango lilikoi mousse round which I believe was the last one! Such a delicious flavor and the cookie on the bottom was perfection. I tried a bite of my brothers jalapeño ham savory breads and it was so good! The next time I went for a bite he ate it all!! Goodness for the whole family. This shop also has a sweet little chicken out front! My whole experience was beyond wonderful I HAD to write a lovely review! I hope to return soon and try other delicious items on their menu!

In the meantime, I ordered 3 specialty drinks: toasted coconut hot chocolate, chocolate chai latte, Mauka Trail mocha (with non-dairy Mac nut milk), and a Kona Coffee & chocolate gelato milk shake. Every beverage was delicious! The young lady, who made them was very sweet, friendly, and soft spoken. The young lady helping my brother with the sweets was also very nice & friendly. The interior was really cute with a section dedicated to keiki (children). There were tables and a seating area with couches and a little gift shop displaying colorful artwork by local artists all illuminated by interesting lighting. We definitely want to return before we leave to try their gelato. But, we will also pick up more desserts because their baked goods were truly scrumptious, which included Lilikoi pie, flourless chocolate cake, a variety of cannolis, cookies, and Ricotta pound cake. We were on a sugar high but that's vacation in Hawaii for you! Aloha!

She asked me if I wanted a half or a whole. I thought it would be nice to have leftovers so I ordered a whole. I have leftovers for several meals; I could not finish even one half. My mom and I walked around this fairly new development to find lunch, and we definitely made the right choice! They had their offerings posted in a chalkboard outside and the braised short rib bahn mi caught our eye. We went in to order and asked about sizing to see if we should get two things or just one, the lady at the front said that the half bahn mi is large in size and a full bahn mi could feed us both. So we got a full size. SHE WAS NOT JOKING! The piece pictured counts as a half of the sandwich. It was bigger than my labubu! They don't use your typical bahn mi bread, it's more like a ciabatta bread, but it was so delicious! There was a large piece of soft tender short rib perfectly seasoned and vegetables for days! My mom and I stared at it and wondered how we were going to be able to take a bite because it was so huge (don't worry we figured it out) Before leaving we also grabbed a Dubai chocolate cheesecake. What a delicious dessert! My favorite cheesecake that I've had anywhere for sure! A huge plus is that on top of the delicious food was that the the place being clean, inviting, and the people there were so sweet! The lady in the front was super kind and friendly and the people behind the the counter came out to make sure that we loved what we ate (and we did!). Good food and good people. Can't beat that! Also if you are like me and don't like going to places with no parking, there is SOOOO much parking, so don't worry! If you are in the area, I highly recommend checking this place out!

In fact, except Madam Pele does NOT necessarily keep to the same schedule as the bakery, would try to time my Volcano drives to coincide with Friday, Saturday, or Sunday! Hahah. Today got a sampling of Mediterranean scones (savory with olives and delicious seasonings), croissants, danish, and my favorite... the ube cruffin. Holy Moly Batman... that one item was worth the drive alone! Since there really wasn't any real estate in our tummies, we split everything 3 ways... over the course of the next few hours. Two weeks later, still thinking about that ube cruffin! Would definitely do a repeat on that as well as the Medeterranean scones while trying other items. And as the nice couple infront of us in line mentioned, will have to return for the sister deli across the parking lot. Heard it was featured in Guy Hagi's food vlog.
