Decided to give their macarons a try since my cousins said I should try it since they've gotten them during this year + last year's MIH and I can understand why. I will admit their macarons are a bit on the sweeter side but for me it isn't to the point where my teeth hurt so I was super happy about that. My absolute favorites from my box were the fruity pebbles, ube, oreo, & birthday cake because of how spot on they were flavor wise although for me the ube, oreo, & lilikoi flavors were a bit faint. For me the salted caramel was my least favorite but I think it's mostly because I've never tried actual salted caramel before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Despite this I'm hoping that next year I'll be able to try their cookie butter macaron since my cousins said that it was good but they were sold out of it by Saturday night when I went. As for the service I'm pretty sure it was one of the owner's daughters & her mom that I interacted with and they were so nice so definitely hope to see them again next year!

Honestly all of them were great, but top 3 were: - shiso - I didn't know what to expect, but the flavors works so well together. Such a unique combo, with subtle shiso flavor! Highly recommend. - kamato - I didn't know if I'd like it so only got one piece.. after trying I wish I had more. - peach - this is my perfect mochi. The white filling just works and it's not too sweet. I know the strawberry is their #1 seller so I tried it and it's really good, it was maybe my 5th favorite of the mochis tried. The chocolate was smooth and high quality, the pistachio cream was sweet with a hint of pistachio flavor, and the kataifi was pleasantly crunchy. I would have loved more pistachio flavor, but it was a nice little chocolate treat. Looking forward to trying more things from Short n Sweet in the future. This place used to have some aloha, but now they can't even do basic functionality: Have a manager on-site, or empower your workers to handle basic tasks. The workers in the store are always nice, but the managers are rude. Avoid this place.

We didn't think of anything when we saw it the first time. By just looking at the name of it though, my immediate reaction was, "Is this a kombuchas bar??" As my daughter and I usually split a plate when we dine together she agreed to this option of mine. Glad we did. This plate has all sorts of goodness included in it. Sautéed veggies, house-made lentil walnut chorizo, ginger beet kraut, fire-roasted jalapeno cashew crema, fire-roasted tomato salsa, and it's topped it off with sprouts. This whole thing comes with either purple sweet potato home fries or red rice (which we went with the purple sweet potato fries and ended up getting a side red rice.
