THE BEST BURRITOS CLOSE TO ANTHEM!!! My boyfriend got a breakfast burrito (potato egg cheese) but we noticed they didn't have potato on the menu. They still made it for him!!! I got a bean and cheese burrito and all I can say is that the two burritos were 100% worth the price. The staff is also very friendly! It's also at such a cute location. There are hills surrounding it and has patio seating under a little tent over the truck. This is on my top 5 burrito list, and yes, I have been to california. read more

Ok, this is a single food truck, I was expecting a pod of food trucks for some reason. They have plastic chairs and tables under a canopy, but it is in a dirt parking lot so a bit dusty. Way off the beaten path but I would stop here again if I happened to be in the area. I ordered the guacamole and chips to eat while I waited for my friend to arrive. It took a while to get it, at least 10 minutes, by that time my friend was there and we enjoyed it together. We went up to order behind a couple, they ordered 40+ tacos and burritos, why in the world would they not have called such a large order in beforehand???? I heard several people go up to the window and indicate they'd called in an order for a single burrito so I know it could've been done. Incredible! To be clear, it's a food trailer on the side of an interstate. However, it's kind of amazing this food is so much better than most "brick and mortar" locations. I had the burrito and it was amazing. Highlights are the guacamole and the tortillas to the burritos were the best. Great food! It was an open air, side of the interstate location.... After a 5 hour flight from Boston with no food service because of turbulence, we arrived at Phoenix airport starved! We stopped at Katrina's on our drive to Sedona and "wow!" We had the carne asada tacos and an order of chips and quac. The service was fast and friendly (just what we needed). The tacos were excellent! The slight crunch on the bottom of the taco was so tasty. We appreciated the generous serving of guacamole. Yum! It was conveniently located off the highway about 20 min from the airport. I'm visiting from Oklahoma and this is hands down the best food I've had from any food truck in OK. I would say the food is pretty pricey BUT you are paying for what you get. $11 Burrito is the best bang for your buck, it's filled with rice and beans and hefty amount of meat of your liking. The burrito is thick and about 7-9 inches. Really good! The service is top tier, they are really nice joyful people. Ambience: The music is low but listenable, if it's too loud then ask for it to be lowered and they'll do such! It has covers so that the sun doesn't burn you. I loved the carne asada tacos topped with pico and lime plus they give you this delicious kinda spicy salsa verde that is to die for.. they should bottle and sell that stuff.. ask for a small cup of their guacamole to top it off and you won't be disappointed.. also their tacos Al pastor with the lil piece of pineapple on top was so good... definitely bring some wet wipes and a whole lot of paper towels because these get messy but it's so totally worth it and worth a try.. for a small lil taco truck off the beaten path it sure packs a punch!! I ordered a bean burrito with cheese. She asked if I wanted pico I said please. I asked for extra beans instead they gave me rice and beans with very little cheese . After a few bites, I took it back. And showed her the Rice inside an explained my order again at this was not acceptable. She scraped the beans off of that burrito and put them in a smaller tortilla and gave it back to me.. VERY Dishonest Servers. So I told her I wanted my money back and they brought me another bean burrito. I refused it and told them I wanted my money back and the name of the owner and phone number they would not give it to me they acted like they didn't understand English . This is A Horrible Excuse For Mexican Food and I was raised in South Phoenix in the 50s and 60s on Mexican Food . I called the next day and asked for the name and phone number of the owner and they just hung up on me. NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

We stopped here to eat in on a whim. I had been meaning to give this little taco truck a try since I first saw it a few months ago. I wish I had stopped in sooner, I was not disappointed. I am excited to finally have great food in our neighborhood! It is conveniently located east of I-17 & south of New River Rd - perfect for anyone stuck on the freeway in traffic or up for a drive to the north valley. Come by and enjoy the beautiful view and a meal made with fresh ingredients by 2 humble men with a great vision. For my New River/Anthem neighbors, you have no excuse not to fall in love with the food, it really is delicious. Okay, so I happen to be vegan and the rest of my family is vegetarian, but the tortillas (flour & corn), beans, rice, pico de gallo, salsas & guacamole were all fresh and absolutely tasty. While they do not have a vegetarian/vegan menu, they were more than happy to accommodate our dietary preferences and kindly provide us with an amazing meal. We've been here several times and never had a bad experience. The people are super nice and the food is top notch. The fish taco and fish tacos are excellent. I tried the chile rellano burrito. The rellano was delicious and I had leftovers for another meal. The chips and guacamole are a great shareable dish. The prices are reasonable too. Overall, a great little gem! read more

Authentic Mexican at its best always made to order limited menu but perfected best shrimp tacos I have ever had carne asada burritos is amazing as well tried the entire menu and never have had a bad meal and I eat here two to three times a week. Delicious tacos served on the side of the I-17 frontage rd by New River Rd. Watch the sun set amid the saguaros. The tacos (served burritos, quesadillas, etc as well) are hearty, fresh and delicious, served fast from the truck with a smile. The outdoor seating is clean and refreshing. We got the chips with a huge scoop of fresh guac, plus tacos --lengua, carnitas, pastor--that knocked our socks off. These are tacos that will make you ready to get up and do what needs to be done. What a great place! It looks like just a food truck perched on the hill off the access road to the highway but it actually has a very pleasant patio. The service was excellent. Everything was fresh and very tasty. We had street tacos and they were amazing. We tried the Al Pastore and the Carne Asada. Found this taco stand along the I-17 frontage road bout a half mile south of the New River Road exit. Currently cash only but when I remarked I didn't usually have any on me, the guy taking orders said to just order what I wanted and I could return later to pay him. I didn't take him up on his generous offer--but I found a five in my wallet, enough to get a pastor taco and leave a tip. The tacos are street tacos but loaded with meat and pico de gallo. Very tasty and the meat was good quality--not gristly. I'll have to go by again and try their other kinds of tacos or a burrito. read more
