This is hands down my favorite nail salon to go to. I'm so happy I found this little gem, I believe I have been coming here for almost 2 years now, and this is the only place i like to come too. I don't preference anyone here, I believe they have all done my gel acrylics and pedi, and I do not ever have any problems. Their colors are nice, and I can always find a match from what I want. I have also done designs or special matte nails, or the chrome ones, they can do it all. I do have to say, sometimes this place can get a lot of people and there is a wait, it's worth it for me, but if you are impatient and in a rush, this is not the place for you. You can always call ahead and see if there is a long wait. read more

Most likely my first and last time here. Walked in not so much greeted. Pretty empty. Not even 5 minutes walking in and my niece and I were seated already. I always get a gel manicure and the lady literally chopped my nails down who was also extra rough with my fingers. Over all she did a good job. My pedicure was ok. This. Is. IT. I've been nail salon shopping for the past 6 months, been to numerous places rated 4.5stars+ on Yelp with one dollar sign. But Katie's is cheaper and does a better job than any of them! I drove 18 miles today and it was ALL worth it! She even shaved and cleaned off the under side of the nails which I've never had any salon do at similar pricing. They're all trying to rush you out. But not here, especially not when you go before 11am on a weekday. And the price, ooooh, pretty sure it's the cheapest in LA. I always come here every two weeks I have been coming here for over a year and they are always very friendly, I gotta give a shout out to Vince he always does my nails and he is the best, I have gotten Ombré three times already because he does such a great job, Yvi does my pedicure she's great, and Annie does my daughters pedi she is also great they're my favorite Nancy also but is on maternity leave I recommend this nail salon to everyone I get so many compliments on my nails all the time. read more

Update: I now gave 1 star due to the fact I went back two times to have them fix my nails. I thought they were great, but within one day they were peeling off. I don't like to give negative reviews, but I also don't like to waste my time at an establishment that I have to keep going to correct a service that should've been good since I do tip quite well. I appreciate good work and understand that they take their time to do this, but for them to file the top of my nails after they polished them was really weird.. Update review after my first time here I though oh I'll be coming often well all the times I went back the lady that did my nails the first time I never seen again and now all I get are sloppy nails. Another thing everytime I pick a color I can't because it's only for "acrylic" nails they don't have many choices I finally switched salon places. I was disappointed with my visit here. It took 2 hours for them to finish my pedicure. They also forgot I wanted a manicure too, so they started working on a manicure for someone who arrived after I did. Besides that, they did not properly clean the tools AND cut the inner part of my nail so deep it would not stop bleeding. I didn't end up getting the manicure because it was going to be a longer wait and because I was upset. The nail polish was cute but my big toe hurts when I step/apply pressure because of the cut. This is a fairly new nail spot in Norwalk; my first time here. Everyone is inviting. I never felt rushed or felt others were being rushed either. Good vibes and friendly people. Minimal wait on a Saturday although all employees were very attentive to all the customers. I had a great experience. I chose the 2nd option on the pedicure/manicure menu and was very pleased that since I didn't have calluses to remove, my pedicurist added a orange scrub instead at no extra charge. First of all, this place is sooooo clean and so friendly! I'm not sure who did my nails. It was a gentleman, on the receipt it said lee so I'm assuming his name is lee. He took his time and made sure they were perfect. Which they were! I've never seen a nail technician take so much time and effort on nails. The color was something I wasn't fully in love with. On the sample it looked much darker but for the service I received it's perfect. My total come out to about $30. Definitely one of the better nail salons that I've been too. Would highly recommend. This was my first time coming here. I was a walk in for a pedicure, they were pretty busy but took me right away. My nail specialist was Holly, she was really quiet but good. She cut and styled my toes perfectly. They had signs that said Cash tips only, but I was able to put $10 on my card and they handed Holly the cash. I would give zero stars if I could. I came into the shop and there was only 1 person waiting ahead me. The lady said she would do my pedicure after she's done. 20 mins into waiting another customer comes in. The lady forgot she had an appointment already. She ignore me and I had to come up to her to ask how much longer it would be. It was a simple mistake, and said I can come back in 30 minutes. I actually came back and they put my foot to soak. After soaking in the water for 30 mins I realized the other customers were getting more things done. The ladies working just kept me waiting knowing they weren't going to be done anytime soon. Usually I wouldn't have waited that long but I'm leaving for a trip. PLEASE JUST TELL CUSTOMERS YOU ARE TOO BOOKED. Don't ask people to wait for an hour. I ended up leaving once my water got cold, it was 7:00. What a waste of time. read more

Try to give this business the benefit of the doubt, horrible service and they only take cash, again got different price for service. Not sure if they are including tips when paying or not but price is always different depending who you get. I got a fill and they charged 45 and all I got was gel and a fill. I would avoid this location if you are a new customer! The bad reviews on yelp were definitely accurate... less than 24 hrs after having my nails done I had chipped nails polish in 8 out of 10 fingers. The customer service from the male that did my nails was terrible. He began by removing my polish with his nail clipper instead of buffering the polish off and using acetone. I do not like telling people how to do their jobs but he was totally ruining my nails and hurting me. After I made myself clear, he tried to sell me on something I did not want or need. He was pushing for a service I did not ask for.. once I was done the menu clearly said 9$ for manicure but they were asking for 15. I will never return to this place nor will I recommend you go there! Total unprofessional! Stay away!! More customers were coming in for services and twice she sent others in to get their services done, when I approached her to ask her when I was going next because I had been waiting for almost an 30 mins before the other clients walked in to the store she ignored me!!! I stayed waiting for everyone I showed up with to be done, while that happened one of her employees was taking care of all the pending customers so then Katie approached me to ask me if I still wanted a manicure. Everything just wrong. My finger nails and toenails are cut and filed bad. I had to go home and fix them myself because they look the same as before I got them done. The one thing that really pissed me off was the foot scrub. She scrubbed my foot so hard she left me with really painful scratches on my foot. This really pissed me off idk what I did to get this kind of punishment. I wouldnt even give this place 1 star and I'm not coming back here. I am so in love with my Cat Eye nails!! The way it shines and changes color is just like magic not only that but you can make your own patterns and designs super dope. I only go see Vince & Nancy or Katie I'm extremely picky and I mean that figuratively and literally I have a bad habit of picking at my cuticles and picking dead skin but they always hook it up on the manicures and gel full sets that last so I can have beautiful nails. Amazing & Affordable Nail Salon! I have been coming here for a few months now. Friends of mine have referred this Nail Salon countless times prior to me experiencing it myself. I always go to Katie as she is a perfectionist. The other Nail Techs are great as well. I normally go with a Gel Full Set and Royal Pedicure. The Royal Pedicure has this great orange peel/scrub treatment. My Boyfriend enjoys the same pedicure as well. My feet always feels refreshed and renewed after. The Gel Full Set and Regular Pedicure lasts me about 3 to 4 weeks until I need a fill or new pedicure. They also offer the Dip Option, Gel Pedicure, Lashes and Eyebrow Waxing. They have an assortment of colors. The prices are truly affordable and competitive versus other Nail Salons. Please do note that they accept card, but tips are to be paid in cash. I would highly recommend coming when they first open or setting an appointment as it does get very busy. read more
