Cute restaurant. We went for lunch and got our food so fast. It was all delicious. We even left with some merchandise!

Thoroughly enjoyed this visit!! We sat outside at the bar. Both bartenders took great care of us! The atmosphere outside is festive and beachy, and we look forward to going back!! read more

Excellent food and service was awesome! We ordered the snapper blackened and some fried shrimp. It was all fresh and cooked perfectly

The food was very tasty. It was fresh. The restaurant accommodated our large party. The service was good and timely.

Wow!!!! Let me just start with the ambiance...very relaxed and chill. Music playing and families just having a good time eating dinner and sipping on drinks. But for me as a mom...my daughter's severe shellfish allergy is always a concern when eating at any seafood place. Can I just tell you I had already checked out the pizza place close by just in case they couldn't accommodate her allergies. Well....the waitress not only assured us no cross contamination, but the owner spoke to my daughter and gave her a quick tour of the kitchen to assure her that they had it all under control. I carry not one, but two epipens...so for this mama, this place gets five stars all the way. And the food is amazing!!!!!! Thanks to your staff for being so accommodating to my little anxious lady. read more

We love this place. Every few weeks we will make the 45 minute drive just to go there. Food is always great and fresh, bartenders outside are always super friendly. It's a great environment to be in. Sometimes they have a band too! Definitely recommend this place! read more

We were not disappointed! Decided to sit outside in the bar area Hannah was great! I was looking forward to the boil and my wife had peel and eat shrimp! They went above and beyond to take care of us. Wife is allergic to crab, yet they made sure to put fresh water to boil her shrimp in a safe manner that she could enjoy without having any reactions. I was almost overwhelmed in the amount I received for my boil, I literally ate for over an hour and still had plenty of food on my plate, unfortunately it was our last night so I couldn't take any home for leftovers or else I would have had a great lunch the next day! I was in the restaurant business for over 25 years and I will say this is the best in the area. read more

Food was delicious! We ordered the single boil and it was more than the 2 of u could eat. Service was good as well.

Great place in Steinhatchee. If you want them to cook your catch they are excellent. No up-charge, just pay for sides. Our catch was prepared excellently. We will visit here again. read more

Fast friendly service. Tasty food. Reasonable prices. MUCH better than Fiddler's which is just a couple of blocks away.

This is a cool, eclectic crab and shrimp shack on the way to Keaton Beach, Florida. It's very pretty here! Restaurant was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and southern nice! We had Gater Bites, Battered Shrimp, and Cheesy Grits! Yum good stuff! Oh and Sweet Tea! We definitely suggest that you stop here if you're traveling through. read more

We discovered this amazing restaurant when I was driving from Palm Harbor to Tallahassee in a heavy rainy day! Absolutely amazing! All, foods, stuff and three great singers. read more

Amazing service and great food. They are at the top of our list every time we are in town.

Great service poor food overpriced fishy fish watered down drinks owner drinking on the job and using foul language!

Our food was amazing, it was busy and we had to wait our turn, but it was a great!! We will be back before we leave the area. The service was perfect, detailed and polite young lady. read more

Nice selection of fresh seafood and other great-sounding menu option. Beer and drink selection also seemed great. Unfortunately we didn't get to try anything. My wife and two small children waited for over 45 mins at our table for someone, anyone, to greet us and take our drink order. The hostess apologized over and over again, and said she was going to get someone to us, but no one ever came. She even apologized again as we were leaving, not that it mattered at that point. I felt bad for her as she seemed very sincere. I understand they were busy, but I would have felt stupid giving them our money after being ignored for almost an hour. Won't be back. read more

Great place all around. Great staff, food, drinks, and nightly entertainment. Very relaxed atmosphere that has remained normal through the 2020 madness. read more

The food is amazing, service excellent, live music, great break after fishing all day

Great dinner location. Recommended by a local as the place to go. Great outdoor space with lots of fans to keep you cool while eating. Life music and a very friendly staff. Tried the tuna ceviche as an appetizer. Homemade chips were good but different: big chunks of tuna and very fresh. Ordered fresh grouper and fresh snapper dinner plates. Both blacken. Served with 2 sides. Fish was straight off the boats and the best meal we've ever had in town. We tried the fried okra, steamed broccoli, and side salad. Steamed broccoli nothing special. I liked that the side salad was included with the salad bar. You could add as much as you wanted and make your perfect side salad. Also ordered the kids shrimp meal. Again came with a salad bar side salad and large fresh shrimp. We will be back! read more

Wonderful grouper and snapper. Would go again, like tomorrow night. The hiccup is they don't serve tonic water just club soda. Their gator tail was some of the best I have ever had read more

Ordered the low boil, to go, when out of town family came in. The shrimp was obviously left over shrimp they had reheated into the boil. They were not fresh. Very hard to peel, and some were disgustingly mushy. I was so embarrassed and disappointed. read more

Bright cheery restaurant, looks like they've added on recently. Band stage for live entertainment. Three thumbs up. I had the soft shell crabs and my wife had the fried clams. My crabs were exactly like they should be. My wife's clams she said were borderline overcooked, but she enjoyed them. The waitress was attentive and cheery. We drove quite a distance but would certainly go back. read more

Great food ! Excellent service. I have allergies and they made food that I could eat !

Excellent seafood. Blackened local bay scallops and grilled shrimp. The lowcountry boil looked great too but we weren't that hungry. Sides were just as tasty. Hospitality from owner was so nice. Had a great late dinner. Happy they accommodated us, as we sat down right before closing time, eek. They did not seem to mind one bit which was really great. Cheers! read more

Food was good how ever $34 for a very small piece of snapper. Drink could not taste liquor

Okay, let me start off saying I ate here two nights in a row. I got there early and placed to-go orders both times. I found the bartenders and servers to be very friendly and accommodating. The first night I opted for the fried shrimp and then added on blackened grouper. My sides were fries and steamed broccoli. I also got a crab cake appetizer. Yes, I was starving and no I couldn't eat it all. Loved the grouper!!! I seriously was very impressed with how fresh it was and how well it was prepared. French fries were yummy! The crab cake was not my favorite but i think it is just prepared differently than I am use to. Look, I found the grouper to be so good I went back the next night and ordered the grouper dinner. Again, delicious and exactly what I wanted. Here is my summary regarding this place. I think the food is great and I look forward to returning and trying different dishes. As for the other reviews regarding price; it can be pricey to eat here. So, just know that going in or come by for lunch and get a smaller portion. I absolutely recommend this establishment to anyone in the area. read more

The wait staff was kind and understanding. BUT this restaurant does not cook their seafood separately from their other foods, which is illegal, according Florida food code. This wouldn't be a problem for me if my younger brother wasn't deathly allergic to seafood. The sweet tea is really good though. read more

The best place to be on a Friday or Saturday night! Dwyane has the best karaoke / dj skills and the live music is always awesome! The good is AMAZING to say the least & always fresh! Summer time can generate a bit of a wait but it's well worth it for the great service, atmosphere and best grub in Steinhatchee! read more

Jess Smith legit the best waitress in town along with some quality food and service. Ate everywhere else in town and the food rocks, and her service was awesome!! Had the flounder and scallops, best in Florida read more

Sat inside. Wives's birthday January 7th a Friday evening. Service was prompt. The atmosphere was what you'd expect in a touristy area. The outside seating has a bar and live music neither of which appeals to us. We're in our 80's. June has the broiled shrimp dinner and I had bay scallops. June's shrimp was very tasty and my scallops were fine. We had a lava cake for dessert. It was pricey but we expected that and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We can recommend Kathy's for a lovely evening but you don't have to dress as nice as we were, but hey, it's a birthday dinner for old people. read more

Best dinner food in steinhatchee, we have never had a bad meal. Wish we lived closer so we could enjoy it more often.

Nice outside eating area. We ordered steamed oysters and the waitress came back and told us the outside grill wasn't on. This was at 6 pm on a Friday night. Ordered the low country boil and the seasoning was great. The waitress was busy on her phone at the bar the entire time. We had to go to the bar to ask for cocktail sauce and it was like jelly. Kathi's left a lot to be desired. read more
