It had been a long day, and I didn't expect much upon arrival. Despite it being small, we were greeted and seated right away. I like that the drinks were served in to-go cups. We ordered lemon pepper, Tennessee whiskey, mild, firecracker, hot parm, and teriyaki wings. The wings were so good! The wings were cooked really well and had the perfect balance of crisp and sauce. The flavors of the sauced wings were good too. My favorite was the Tennessee whiskey and the firecracker. The firecracker wings had a hint of heat but also like a flavorful undertone of ranch seasoning, but still tasted like firecracker wings. The Tennessee whiskey was different, but those flavors came together so well with a hint of sweet and savory. The hot parm and the other wing flavors all were really good. It was a large group of us, so we also ordered a cheese pizza and a caveman pizza. Both of those were really good as well. It was so hard not to overstuff myself. The pizza was cooked well, and the flavors blended nicely. The kids loved the cheese pizza. The hand cut fries were on point as well. We went on a Sunday evening about 7pm. Not much is really open in LaGrange, except fast food, at that time. We have been to the Karvelas in West Point (son goes to Point U), so we decided to give this location a try since we just moved to LaGrange. We should have expected it to be busy, we were surprised it was PACKED! That's a great thing for a business. They turned tables over quickly when people left, so people waiting could be seated quickly. We actually didn't wait long at all to be seated. Not too many options for food, which I actually like. I think it makes for a faster time to get your food. However, I did wish they sold pizza by the slice, like they do at lunch. Not everyone wants to have the same type of pizza (only reason for the 4/5 stars). The three of us ordered different variations of their wings. All were brought out hot and fresh. I got traditional wings. I was so happy they weren't small wings, like a LOT of other places are currently serving. They were cooked perfectly and tasted great. My husband and son ordered the boneless wings. They don't have like 8 or 10 count, they serve a MOUND of them. My son usually eats his whole serving of traditional wings, he actually had leftovers. Both of them had different flavors and they said they were really good. For the place being SO busy, our server was really on top of it and the staff all had great attitudes. I ordered the pizza slice called Wave which was delicious. They have a different pizza every day between 12-4p where you can just get one slice. I got the second hottest wings which I would consider mild as there was no kick at all. We ordered 2 salads but returned one as it was so wet. They apologized and took it off the bill as we did not want another one. I liked the interior and our Host Linda was very nice and our Server Kylie was wonderful. read more

Yumyumyum! Being on the road during COVID time isn't easy, but thanks to Karvelas, we had a great dinner while stopping through town! All the servers were very friendly and wearing masks. Me and my sister shared a garden salad and Margherita pizza. The garden salad was easily big enough for two people, and the ranch is *chef kiss*. The pizza was hot and fresh! Visiting the LaGrange college and Karvelas was recommended. The pizza crust was quite crisp with very fresh ingredients... fired Dill pickle chips We're very light and not greasy. Tried the Atlanta hot Bone-in chicken wings. I did not particularly care for the flavor as it reminded me of Nashville hot. However, the quality of the wings and styling which they were paired was excellent. All of the server seem friendly, and the food was repaired in a timely fashion. I did make the mistake of asking for unsweet tea, which I was reprimanded by the local folks I was with that were within 10 miles of Alabama and I want to get shot!!! Yea, not so bad pizza, but way overpriced. I paid over $40 for a large veggie pizza. It was a good pizza, but not worth the price tag. I had a salad there prior, and again, it was OK, but nothing spectacular. The crust was nice and such, but I cannot see the value in ordering again. The employees are eager and helpful. We're from out of town and found Karvelas as it was close to the hotel. They have one tiny entrance that had both a pick up counter and a hostess stand. As we jammed our way inside, a group of 20+ teenagers decided to pay individually at the hostess stand. A server came and took our name and told us she would have a table ready in a second. She then came back to us about 5 minutes later and said someone had taken our table so we would have to wait or sit at the window area. We looked over the menu and noticed you can't split or make substitutions on 16" pizzas. It was unreasonable for our party (2 adults, 2 kids) so we left. read more

It was packed so we put in a to-go order at the designated to-go kiosk. The girl there took the order and we paid. She said it would be about 30 minutes and we said "do we have an order number or do you take our cell phone number to let us know when it's done?" "Oh, we don't do that... Karvelas is a great family owned pizza business. There is not anything that I have tried that I have been disappointed with from their menu. I have always been very pleased with whatever they make. Was staying at Great Wolf Lodge and stopped in for dinner. Happened to be a Monday they had wings 1/2 price, which was a great decision to get! Nice and meaty wings, but still crispy and not soggy. Pizza was great NY style. Atmosphere is chill. Service was great. Paper on the tables and crayons was a great way to entertain the little one. Will be our go to spot when visiting again. read more

Almost inedible but there was 12 people starving. $60 for 3 pizzas and they totally messed them up. I called and let them know how frustrating it was and they took my name and number, of course I heard from no one. Found this cool pizza joint off of a billboard on I-85. Totally worth the trip into town. Friendly with good food. Portions are quite large. Downtown Lagrange looks to be interesting too with a few unique places. read more
