I ended up here by complete accident trying to get to a place I needed to go but saw it and went in and tried it for the first time. The food was hot and the wings were excellent not typically breaded how I'd expect but they were great I wish they had a little more seasoning but other than that I'd for sure recommend. Customer service was alright pretty standard the lady was a little quiet but I didn't mind that and it seems like they have a pretty strong community aswell. 8/10 would recommend! Also the fries were crazy good I'd go back just for those. One more thing to note was the atmosphere/vibe it was pretty laid back. Wings were not bad! Had the Sriracha and honey and the sweet and spicy wings. Wing sauces were delicious and lots of choices. What tripped me out was the option between small and large wings portions. I'm not fond out the wings on steroids so I chose the small wings. Not too surprised when I opened the box but one would think that they would just mix the sizes... I also ordered the funnel cake, sweet treat but harder than expected. I order a fish plate and was told it will be 15 mins. I get there to pick up food it wasn't ready. I was fine with that. so after waiting 15 more mins and other coming in placing orders and receiving. I was confuse, because I called in. So I asked what was going on. I was told seafood takes 30 minutes I told her it had been way over 30 min. so I sat amf waited longer only to be told it was someone new in the back my food had not even been started on and did I still want my food it will be 15-30 mins. at this point I'm pissed n i really wanted it and said yes. This is a nice mom and pop Wing joint in LaGrange, GA. DJ's has a tremendous variety ranging from wings to fish to chicken and more. I loved the warmth of the greeting I got as soon as I walked in the door. They also offer pick it which seems to be the way to go on game day. The lemon pepper wings and catfish are my favorite. I was craving wings on a Saturday for early lunch, so we called in to order ten wings, 5 lemon pepper and 5 mild. On the phone, the employee asked if we wanted large or small wings -- we went with the large. It was ready to be picked up within ten to fifteen minutes. My family just moved to LG from Marietta this past June. We've been looking for a good wing place besides overpriced Zaxby's. Thank goodness we found it at DJ's. The service was very friendly. We were in a part of GA where there weren't too many options to grab a bite. The food was very good. The hot wings were pretty hot. Just be aware that choices of small and large are the size of the wings. The small wings are pretty darn small. Unfortunately I wasn't impressed with this place. The service was great but the wings were just OK. I got the lemon pepper wings and they were extremely salty. I also got the BBQ wings and they just were not that good. I think the second most important thing in a wing joint is the dipping sauces and my ranch was very bitter and had almost a spoiled taste (I check the date and it was ok) just didn't have a good complimentary flavor.
