My first time to try this wing trailer. Very good and tender wings. These were 12 lemon pepper. 10 medium all flats extra wet and 10 teriyaki all flats extra wet. Total $29. I will be back. Open 7 days a week. Called ahead and picked them up to watch Sunday football.

The Saint Louis ribs are tender, featuring a distinct pink smoke ring and rich, moist flavor. The turkey is served as a thick, smoked slice and remains moist, unlike many commercial options that are thinly sliced and often dry. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the staff is welcoming. The restaurant is clean and provides an excellent environment to enjoy quality barbecue. This just became our new go-to!

The meat was slightly Smokey with a good meat forward profile, no sauce is added (or needed). There are 4 choices on the table: hot mustard, peach, original and hot and sweet. I like the subtle peach flavor and the original. I samples all in the single slice of sunbeam white bread that came with my plate. The slaw was very basic, not creamy or vinegary or too sweet. It would be an excellent hot dog slaw. The star of the show, or the scene stealer, was the Brunswick stew. It was not a "soup" as many heretics create. It was a tight meat dish with the right flavor to be from my own grandmother's kitchen. That is to say it was perfection. I washed it all down with a can of RC cola and was on my way. This si a neat spot and very very clean. Great BBQ and nice folks.

We parked next door at the gas station and walked to the park. There was no parking fee or entrance fee. We made it there about 9 and there were about 5 vendors and many tables to sit and enjoy your food. There was also music playing. Slutty vegan seemed to be the only vendor with a line. When I'm talking line, I'm talking L-I-N-E!!!! As we were waiting, we ended up getting a spiked lemonade from one of the vendors and it wasn't spiked much. Atlanta is better off for having food trucks (and this park, specifically). Despite the cloudy, on-and-off drizzly weather, the park had a good turnout of patrons between 7-9pm on a Thursday night. Thanks to those who braved the elements for our UYE (http://www.yelp.com/events/atlanta-atlanta-food-truck-park-uye). The food truck/food stand lineup was pretty good: Sweet Auburn BBQ Corn-a-Cue One Love Jerk Grill Metro City Dogs Lemonade Stand WOW! Food Truck Ibiza Bites Chay J's New Orleans Candies Rouxd Food Truck King of Pops Yum Yum Cupcake Verizon also had a stand. I've been following the park's official calendar (http://www.atlantafoodtruckpark.com/calendar/) over the past month and noticed Thursday nights are the ideal weeknight (excluding Fridays) to go for the most trucks and the best selection. I suspect there might have been more trucks last night if it wasn't for the weather. I ended up trying a little bit of everything: Arepas (Venezuelan sliders) from WOW! Food Truck Beef brisket with Asian pear slaw taco from Sweet Auburn BBQ Goat cheese-stuffed fried green tomatoes from Ibiza Bites Creole pretzels and Creole popcorn from Chay J's I'll be posting reviews for each of those trucks in the next few days. If you come for dinner, I recommend coming on the early side as the food trucks only have a limited supply of items and do sell out. This leads some trucks to close early. I saw many menus with marked off items that had sold out for the day. Yum Yum Cupcakes shut down early because they sold out of their cupcakes for the day. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much seating the park had. I counted 16 large picnic tables in the main "dining" area, most with umbrellas. Each picnic table can seat up to about 8 people each. The picnic tables are located on a flat, paved surface. The food trucks are located in a large gravel lot. This lot has 4 communal standing tables and 2 additional picnic tables. So overall, this spot has quite a bit of seating, which is convenient. Also, plenty of trash cans and recycling bins to keep the grounds looking relatively clean. The park is family and dog-friendly. It can be a little loud because you're around all these big trucks and next to busy Howell Mill Rd. You can BYOB, so save money by bringing your own drinks. If you want water, I saw some trucks selling it for $1 per bottle. There is one restroom and it's a "Johnny on the Spot" porta-potty in the parking lot with portable sink outside so you can wash your hands. There is ample free parking behind the park. Turn onto Emery St, next to the Shell Station on Howell Mill, to find it. If you need more detailed directions, check out the park's FAQ here: http://www.atlantafoodtruckpark.com/faqs/. The parking lot is old and filled with pot holes, so drive carefully. I saw someone puncture their car's tire by running over a broken-off metal sign post on the ground (she was trying to make too tight of a turn around the dining area). Note that every Wednesday and Friday night throughout the summer, the park will be playing movies for free. Also, from time to time, there is live music. On the weekends, there's a food market with rotating vendors and an artists market coming soon. Overall, I'm very happy with the Atlanta Food Truck Park and definitely plan on returning.

**This is for their second food truck located in the BP gas station parking lot off exit-201**…read more My notes on this place are on the picky side, on the boarder of personal tastes...because they are putting in the effort of kicking out some good food. Everything that came out was freshly fried and made with well maintained toppings/ingredients. So no complaints at all there. Burgers-My only note would be to season the meat with some burger seasoning once it's on the flat top. The bun is perfect, the veg is cold, the sauces are saucy and you take a bit of it all looking for the juicy flavorful combo but the meat just misses that mark. It doesn't need much...just a little shake of seasoning to round it all out. Mozza sticks and mac&cheese bits...have no notes, they were fried to order and came out screamin' hot...dipped in GGs sauce or the White Sauce was perfect. Sauces- GG sauce is a mayo, sriracha and sweet chili sauce mix...there may be other things in it too, but those are the top 3. White Sauce is their take on an Alabama white sauce...but this one is less vinegar and more creamy because of the mayo. Little bit of heat, but not what I would call spicy. I-75 Loaded fries...were loaded up! How the fries managed to stay crispy for as long as they did-with all the cheese and sauce defies logic. The jalapeños make this dish on the hotter side, so if you don't like heat...you should order it without them-because they don't skimp on them. Honestly this could have done without the hot Cheetos-they didn't really add to it other than color and they got mushy quick. We also got the beefy/steak rice bowl, but it was for my husband's meal prep the next day. It wouldn't be fair to review based on him eating it a day later...so I'm going to leave that review out. We did see several people ordering it while we waited...so I'm thinking it's a favorite. It's a food truck-not fast food so we ended up waiting about 20 minutes for our order. The crew working it were all nice and our food was well packaged so we suffered zero losses. We will be stopping by and trying all their chicken options for our next round!

The burger was seasoned perfectly, juicy, and cooked just right. GG's sauce? A game changer. Tangy, savory, and just the right kick it ties the whole thing together. The fries were golden and crispy perfection, and the wings? Crunchy outside, flavorful inside, with just the right amount of heat and seasoning. It's clear they care about their food and their customers. If you see the Golden Grill truck, don't pass it up this is comfort food done right. Service was quick and efficient.

We ran across Pretty Little Taco Truck that has their take on birria tacos and had great reviews so we decided to head to Triton Yards. While it's not a huge place, it's a decent size. It is located in the Westend of Atlanta. We went on a Saturday and I believe there was about 5 food trucks along with a dj. They also have plenary of parking. There's a lot directly behind them for parking, as well as I noticed parking on the side where people could park. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Triton Yards is family friendly. While there was a dj, the music was good and appropriate for all present. There is a green space out there with games for the kids like big jenga, as well as a fire pit for s'mores when the sun sets. They sell a s'mores kit for $3 which isn't bad. I also liked the fact that they have a drink shack with both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. I really love that there is something like this in the African American community! I think that it gives those who live in and around the community a safe place to have fun and experience other minority small businesses that they can support. In following them on social media, I've noticed they also provide other events like wellness Wednesdays (yoga) and sip and paints. I know I'll be back because there's a number of other places I'd like to try and I love the fact that they support and provide a nice space for African Americans, as well as others to experience.
