I ordered hibachi steak with the fried rice and salad and my husband ordered hibachi steak and shrimp with the fried rice and salad and wow. It was very bland and the yum yum sauce tasted like pure Mayo. Even the salad was nasty and it's pretty hard to mess up a salad. Steak was dry and even the egg rolls weren't good. Couldn't believe they have high ratings on Google. Learned my lesson and won't be eating here again. Spent $66 because we got it delivered and I'm so disappointed in the quality. read more

We were excited to try this place because of how good the teriyaki bistro in Griffin, Ga is. We got a chicken wing combo meal and hibachi chicken. It came out to be $40. It was not worth the money at all. Let's start with the lemon pepper wings. They fried the wings, tossed them in the Togo container and sprinkled lemon pepper on them, I had to make my own sauce when I got home to dress the wings. The salaD that came with the meal was warm, the chicken in the hibachi came straight out of a bag of precooked chicken that was just sautéed in some type of marinade, the "fried rice" was just rice that was over cooked and slapped with soy sauce. I personally believe the worst restaurant in Lagrange would still be better than teriyaki bistro. read more

New management isn't great, definitely miss the old owners. The roll was poorly made and didn't come with wasabi and ginger like it should. Prices sky rocketed but i guess i could understand with supply chain issues. Asked the waitress for a fork and she didn't seem to want to bring one. They could definitely could be nicer. Not near as good as it use to be. read more

We enjoyed the salads and the chicken with rice or chicken and shrimp with rice. You can get white rice or fried rice. They also have some sushi options and other soups and tofu and eel. read more

They recently just changed the way they cooked their chicken and I'm not a fan. Their sushi is not sticky at all but is somewhat edible. I usually get the sushi bento box and gyoza. Their gyoza is excellent and the atmosphere of the restaurant is good. It is quiet and very accessible. read more

Greatest Chinese food we've had in a longtime! It's as good as much more upscale restaurants in larger cities. The food variety is amazing and everything we tried was top of the line delicious! It's very well presented, the amount is huge and plenty warm. The café and the staff are clean and the staff is very courteous. This is our new favorite and not nearly as far from home as the last few horrible ones we went to. The prices were a little more, but the quality made it worth every penny! I wanted to go into the kitchen and hug the chef before we left! Do yourself a favor and give this a try, you won't be sorry! Very impressive and we've eaten Chinese all over this country! Delicious! I have been looking for some good Japanese here in the lower GA and this is the best yet. I got Teriyaki chicken breast with fried rice and an egg roll. I also got an order of Goyza. There was no one in there at 630 on a Tuesday (also St. Patrick's day so I'm not surprised). The atmosphere is good, it's a nice mix of a sit down and fast food restaurant. I would lean more towards fast food to describe it. They did have some nice Jazz background music going on which I really liked. A lot of Ikea decor. The Goyza was good, it was fried (I prefer steamed) and came with an odd clear liquid. Not sure what it was, my best guess is some kind of vinegarry substance. In NC they come with a nice soy type sauce. The meal came out very quickly, again no "white sauce" down here which would have earned them five stars. I did ask for some extra teriyaki sauce which was a good substitute. The egg roll wasn't that fantastic but did what I wanted it to. The meat was a tad under sauced in my opinion and pretty over cooked but I will take over cooked to under cooked EVERY time! The rice was good. I will get the Bento Box next time. read more

I am a little surprised on the good reviews for this place, maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. I ordered a "fire" stir fry which was not even hot but extremely sweet. I ordered the hottest. I then asked for hot sauce and the man pointed to the table to tell me that the hot sauce was on the table (also sweet). A table behind me then ordered hot sauce and he brought him something from the kitchen. Why couldn't I get the same hot sauce? That really wouldn't have bothered me had I been able to order a beverage. I asked for a water and a beer several times. Even that I could have dealt with. What bothered me was the chicken was fatty and the entree was over sauced. I specifically asked to have my entree with light sauce or sauce on the side. It was overflowing with sauce, which once again was sweet and not spicy as indicated on the menu. The table behind me also asked for their entree without sauce and it arrived with sauce. The server put it down and said sorry they made it with sauce. He assumed she should eat it without even offering to take it back and have it made the right way. By the way the whole time I was there I saw about 6 people eating in the restaurant. Apparently they were swamped. read more

Walked in and was escorted to a table didn't even sit down we left. Waitress rude, empty on a Saturday night (speaks for itself) and the visual presentation of the inside of the restaurant lacks a designers touch nothing about the inside represented the restaurant style of service. This is one of my three favorite restaurants in LaGrange. Great food -- I've tried almost everything on the menu. They have a separate Korean menu with items for the Korean palette (and the adventurous -- "silk worms.") Friendly staff. Lunch can take a little long sometimes. read more

I like to refer to this place as LaGrange's best kept "secret" !! The food is absolutely amazing!! My favorite is the spicy chicken teriyaki and I cover the rice in the garlic honey dressing... Which is to me much better than the usual white dressing served in most Japanese restaurants! As far as the sushi they have a spicy fried one, I believe it's called the tiger roll...
