Horrible dealership to do business with. I sent an email and asked information about a car they had. I got an email back saying there are short on staff and it is best to call them. I called and talked to Louis. He said the car was still available and I asked him to give me an Out the Door price since I was going to pay cash. I gave him all the information he needed to send me the price. I waited the entire day and never heard back from them. They price their cars low online to get you in the door. Don't waste your time driving out here unless you're prepared to pay the $6-7k in hidden costs ontop of the standard taxes and fees. Wish I would've read the reviews before I wasted my time and saw other people had the same or worse experiences. They proceeded to try to tell me that these fees are standard at every other dealer, which I know is NOT true because I had multiple other offers in hand already. Yes, every dealer has fees but not $6-7k in fees excluding taxes...common now. In the end, I walked away because their out-the-door costs were not competitive to the other offers I had on the exact same car. They sales reps are NOT allowed to tell you the price of the car, they have to ask you what you saw it online for. As soon as I found that out, I knew I wasn't going to walk out there anywhere near my expected price. Once I got handed off to the Manager to talk numbers, it was a bad experience and felt very scummy. Also, walked in on the owner telling my sales rep, "Do not ever let a customer leave this lot, say whatever you have to keep them here. I spend $300k on advertising to get people in the door." I wasn't bothered by it because I all know that's what they try to do at any car lot anyways, just an interesting way to do business and a true waste of talent and time for the sales reps. The owner was kind (to me) and the Sales Rep I worked with was great, but overall it was a waste of time when it came down to numbers. I bought my 14' Camaro used, and they told me that it had rear end damage. When I got home the parking brake did not work, I got them to fix it, but it had to be held with the car in gear 'manual', and with both together it was better.Now 5 yrs. later I asked them to fix it please, they said no. I walked into this dealer with the expectation to buy a vehicle based of the promotional price. The salesperson never verbally confirmed the price, but stated that "if that's what it says online then we will give it to you". After test driving the vehicle I wanted to move forward with the process. I was taken to a room with Eleazar to discuss the price breakdown and to sign forms. Upon seeing the cost breakdown, I was given the promotional price, but in the cost breakdown was a GPS fee of $2500 on top of the sales price, and $800 in accessories. I questioned Eleazar about these fees and he said these fees were MANDATORY and industry standard, that nothing could be done about them. I explained to him that the reason we came here was to buy the car at the promotional fees with a reasonable expectation for license+registration or dealer fees, but NEVER online did I read about a MANDATORY fee of $3300 on top of the promotional price. Eleazar became combative and coercive trying to get us to sign off on it. We walked out as this was clearly a case of misrepresenting an advertised price and the man was highly aggressive and soured the experience. We found the truck we were looking for, we had a pre approval from Capital one for the loan, set our down payment, and got our offer from Capital One. We accepted it and had the dealer make contact with us. Much to my surprise, the dealer came back with a different payment than Capital one, and explained it by telling me that they added certain charges to every unit they sold, such as a alarm and tracking system. Being as the truck we were looking to purchase already had a satellite based factory alarm, i said that we were not interested in the options they had added (3000.00) , and they explained that they wouldn't sell us the truck, unless we paid their extra charges, above their advertised retail. Very poor customer service. Arrived for the first time and pulled onto the lot. Was unsure if the parking for customers was on the street or on the lot. Rolled down the window to get verbal clarification of the customer parking location and I was yelled at by a salesperson "pay attention!" The salesperson then just left, apparently to go get the vehicle key, but then barely said anything, and then the key fob did not work at all. I was ready and intended to buy from them that day but their loss, I will just take my money to another dealership. This dealership is not interested in working with you if you're a woman. I walked into the dealership today and was met by a salesman who didn't introduce himself or ask my name. (His name might have been John since that's the name he typed into the computer to retrieve the key). He asked me twice if I had an appointment...I'm not sure why I need an appointment to look at a used car when they've got half a dozen salesmen just standing around waiting to help people. He took me to the car, then immediately pointed to the sticker in the window and said "this is the price". He pointed to the price at least 3 times before I did the test drive, then asked if I wanted to "look at some numbers," before I had even driven the car. I told him that I am not going to talk numbers or make a decision without test driving it first. He then gave me the keys and said "you can turn it on if you want to listen to the engine." Why would I want to "listen to the engine"? I'm here to test drive the car and won't buy it unless I like how it drives. He let me do a short around-the-block test drive, didn't engage in any conversation or show any interest in me, and then when we arrived back at the lot he took the car and drove off to park it and never returned. He obviously had no interest in working with me, presumably because I'm a woman (based on every other experience I've had with car shopping). It's clear to me that he was judging me by the way I looked and didn't think I could afford a 9 year old used car. They have signs everywhere advertising that they'll work with you if you have bad or no credit, so maybe he assumed I was one of those type of customers and that's why he kept pointing to the price before the test drive. Whatever his reasons were, his behavior was very off-putting and judgmental. I'm not going to drop tens of thousands of dollars at a place that disrespects me, so I'll take my business elsewhere. By the way, the sticker price on the car window was $4000 higher than what's on CarGurus and all the used car apps, so I'm assuming they put some aftermarket add-ons to jack up the price. Financial manager is incredibly aggressive and contemptuous. The car clearly got into a small bumper fender in the back that went unreported. First impressions can never be taken back, so Gus, keep doing what you're doing. After Gus greeted us he asked if there is a specific car I wanted to see. I informed him of the Ford Fusion and he went right away to get the keys!! I can appreciate the little things like a salutation, but the little things make this a great buy. Here's a tip for future buyers, do your home work and look online at Car.com. I looked online and seen the vehicle I wanted on cars.com prior to visiting. The online price vs. the lot price was $4k less(favoring online). Upon notifying Gus about the price online he didn't hesitate to match. If you go to get a car here, ASK FOR GUS! Secondly, thank you Allen K. For making our financing a breeze and shooting the breeze to help pass the time. Allen K. got our APR. lowered by half a percent. Doesn't sound like much, but if you crunch numbers like me, a half percent makes a big difference more than putting money down. Speaking of money down, I did put 1.5k down and a term of 72months. This is my 5th car I've purchased and I've owned everyone. So my plan to have a long term is to have a cheap payment just Incase I fall on hard times I can still afford my car, but thankfully I've been blessed enough to pay off my vehicles. Allen K upgraded our tracking device plan 3 more years at no extra cost!!! I did decline warranty because I do not see the value in warranty. Everything the warranty covers has never failed on any of my 5 cars, so I do not purchase warranty...EVER! BUT, if you're not mechanically inclined and are the cynical type, get the warranty and have peace of mind. RT!!! Unethical Dealer with deceptive marketing practices!!!!!! *Long Read But Trust Me It's Worth It* Maaaaaaan let me tell you how they tried to get me! This place is full of SCAM ARTIST CON MEN! For starters they will say they have the cheapest prices within 50 miles of La.... this is True Until..... YOU GET THERE! This is when they hit you with the old fashion Bait & Switch. Let me explain.... On their website they have the prices of their vehicles (VERY LOW) and what makes it even more intriguing is that you can click a button under the price stating that they will give you a one time deal aka cheaper than its listed price (Our Best Price). I clicked on this and it gave me a price $200 cheaper. As soon as it did I took a screenshot on my phone (always have evidence) and called into the place and said I would like to come buy the vehicle. I called to see if the vehicle was there and they said yes. So I took an Uber from work (Teacher with LAUSD) and got there to find out the car wasn't ready. It needed an oil changed and the rear left window needed to be repaired before I could purchase it. Annoyed I took Uber home after I was informed by a salesman that it would be ready in 2 days. Friday rolls around 2 days later... I call first thing in the morning and ask is the car ready because I would like to pay for it. They said yes so once again I took an Uber after I dismissed my class for the weekend. I get there and then "IT" HAPPENS. The good ole BAIT & SWITCH with the PRICE$$$$ New fees: 3% Dealer Fee $1,400 fee for "Pre-installed anti theft protection GPS device" AND they said they would have to pay to get the window fixed but they would included it in the price of the car! WTF! *Tax, Tags, Registration would be separate of course I go H*ll no I'm paying cash and I came here with the amount agreed upon I'm not about to pay for anything else because this is not my first Rodeo! I told them I brought and extra $300 to cover the tax and tags because CA state tax on used cars is 7.25% and depending on the county it's up to 2.5% for the city taxes making it close to 10% of the purchase price of the vehicle. Once I relayed this information to them they had the Oh Sh*t face this guy knows what he's talking about and we can't bullsh*t him. The very nice salesman then goes to talk to his Manager. Now this is where I saw management were the snakes and not the very nice hard working salesmen (Thanks Alex). Then I brought up my concerns with the Sales Manager at the time and he began to talk in circles and make no sense whatsoever! The Manager informs me that "The Bank" has to get their money back for the car so that's why the additional fees are being added to the pre agreed upon amount. Now this sounded Fishy... so I asked for the name of the Bank and he stated that he didn't have it and that it was multiple lenders who owned the car. WAIT WHAT? Multiple lenders own a $2,500 car? That's right folks $2,500 went to $5,000 real quick. When I requested he give me the name of the Bank again he stated that Karplus was its own Bank and they owned the car. Seriously people I can't make this up. I then asked for his name and HE REFUSED TO GIVE IT TO ME!!! We went back and forth on the price and then I finally agreed to $3,300. This price included them fixing the window. But was that good enough? NO! they said the bank needed more because they "The Shop" that fixes their cars said it would cost more. I then stated "You guys must've have marketed this price wrong and you don't want to lose money and they denied it". They refused but the very next day guess what happened? They increased the price on the website just like I said! But back to Friday after they said no to $3,300 they agreed to I asked for the Managers name again and then name of the Bank and he gave me a card with scribble on it for his name and then the wrong number to the "Bank" that owned the car!!!! I promise you people I'm not making this story up! I then left and on my way out Alex the salesman tried to comfort me as he knew that I was treated poorly and I appreciated that. He contacted the other manager J.R who reached out to me on the following day. He stated that they couldn't go lower than the $3,300 but for $4,000 tax, tags, registration and the window being fixed I could get the car or just pay $3,300 and the back window not get fixed. Honestly the price still wasn't bad but there are things called "Principles" and I refuse to comprise them no matter what the price. I was disrespected, lied to, and what happened was wrong. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB as well because I don't want anyone else to go through what I went through. *P.S......
