My review is based on my personal experience 1 year ago and nothing to do with whatever I have read online. I just want to be fair with whoever I'm leaving the review specially with Karplus which I read the reviews after I purchased and more of the bad reviews does not make sense to me and more of a buyer's remorse or bad luck rather than service oriented reviews. First of all Karplus is selling pre-owned vehicles which means it is used not by them but whoever is the previous owner is. As far as I know, they get their vehicle from auction the same way all the dealership get theirs. By deciding to buy a pre-owned vehicle because you don't want to spend tons of money on a new one, you should already know the precautions you need to take before doing so. I don't blame them if somewhere along the way of owning the vehicle, you might have a bad luck and having problems with the vehicle. I believe that if you want to go the direction of blaming others instead of yourself, first you blame yourself, then the manufacturer of the car, then the owner of the car, then last is the dealer who sold it to you. Even if you buy a brand new vehicle which in my case happened to me 2 times, after the warranty expired I have problems with my steering on my 2006 Murano which I was charge by the dealer $2000 to fix it. It only has 37k miles but basic warranty is gone and powertrain is left, then at 50k miles axle had a problem that warranty covered, next is my New 2011 Pilot which below 10k miles developed a noise on the engine and a transmission shifting problem as well. These experience brought me to just buy a pre-owned vehicle which is great on value and you can still purchase an extended warranty up to the same term as what the brand new car has. Back to my experience. I was searching online and found Karplus website that promted me to scan there vehicles. I was in a market for a compact sized car for dependability and economy reasons, a car that I can just use in the valley from point A to B. Yelp also showed on the result page but did not bother to read. I saw a 2012 Chevy Cruze on their website and considering the price miles and year, it's perfect on what I was looking for. I called and set-up an appointment with one of the salesperson and to tell you the truth, he was persistent on bringing me in the dealership. I gave it a shot and came the next day which is my day off. I test drove the Cruze but seems very less space for cargo. I went around the lot and they have a huge inventory. I saw a 2012 Malibu which is in my price range and fell in love with it. Went ahead and dealt with the numbers. It took a little bit because I was not planning to purchase that day. They did everything to persuade me. Import things which got them my business. 1) They showed me the Carfax. 2) The advised me to show it to my mechanic( I spend $150 for this a peace of mind). 3)Financing was great that I could not resist. 4) Last is they gave me a 3 months warranty for free if I buy that day. Overall I have a great experience and it's been 1 year and my Malibu is still in great condition with only changing oils between intervals and other minor maintenance. I would definitely recommend them based on my experience. I believe that sometimes luck plays a big role in buying a vehicle whether it's a new or preowned. Just be a wise buyer. That's it. read more

I recently purchase a truck from this company last 2 months ago as well as a car few years back. I was happy with my last purchase because by experience I did extra effort to save me future problems. The lot was huge and they have plenty of selection to be fair. When I purchased my truck I got my friend was is a mechanic to come with me and double checking the truck that I want. I came on a weekend which is busy and understandable that my salesman who was working with me has to work another customer. It did not matter because he was just finishing the customer he has before me. He gave me good service after that. I worked directly with the manager. He remembers me from before. I came asking for the salesperson who helped me before when I bought my 2002 corolla, he was not working with them no more. The deal went well and truck is good as my friend said and hope it will be good to me. The Corolla that I purchased before have some minor issues with that car before after I purchased it. I don't know a lot about car's before that when I test drive it and it felt good, I decided to buy it right away without thinking twice or having it checked out with a third party mechanic. When I was driving home I felt a hissing sound outside and suspected it was coming from the tires. When I got home, I have a flat tire. I don't know if it was from the dealership or started when I was heading home. Anyways no big deal. Next 4 days the check engine light was on. I called my salesman and had me transferred to the service manager. He said check the cap of the gas tank. I checked and he was right, I forgot to put it back after I filled gas. It solved it. After a month, one of the back up lights stopped working. I got fix. I thought that there is more to come but luckily been driving it for 4 years and still running good. To cut the story short, I learned my lesson to always make sure of what you are buying, specially a vehicle that you will own and drive for years to come. Not only buying from Karplus but any dealership specially when you buy pre-owned, take it to a mechanic that you trust or buy an extended warranty. It will make your life easier and less problems in the future. I don't think that any dealership can be blamed of selling bad cars specially pre-owned. These are machines and made to be broken. When you buy from a private seller, and you purchased a bad car and you are trying to blame the seller for selling you a bad car, they will just say you test drive it and it was running good and you cant do anything with it. Be a wise buyer and always check what your buying and save yourself future headache. If that corolla that I purchased was perfect without any issues, I could have given them a five star but because of that I can't give a 5. Fair is fair in my book. read more

Disappointing Experience with Karplus Dealership: Faulty Car and Multiple Repairs I recently had the unfortunate experience of purchasing a car from Karplus Dealership, and I must say that it has been an incredibly disappointing and frustrating journey. Within just five months of owning the car, I encountered a major issue with the engine, which now requires a complete motor replacement. To make matters worse, I have also had to deal with multiple repairs throughout this short period of time. When I initially purchased the car from Karplus Dealership, I had high hopes for a reliable and trustworthy vehicle. However, it quickly became apparent that this was not the case. Just a few weeks after driving off the lot, I started experiencing various issues with the car's performance. Strange noises, engine misfires, and frequent breakdowns became a recurring theme during my ownership. The most alarming and expensive problem occurred recently when the car's motor suddenly malfunctioned. It was incredibly disheartening to learn that such a critical component of the vehicle had failed after only five months. The cost of replacing the motor will leave a significant dent in my finances, and it is an expense that I shouldn't have to bear so soon after purchasing the car. Furthermore, the number of repairs I've had to undergo throughout these five months has been excessive. From electrical issues to radiator and oil filtration housing replacement to name a few. It feels like I've spent more time at the repair shop than enjoying the car itself. The constant inconvenience and additional costs associated with these repairs have been extremely frustrating. I must express my disappointment with Karplus Dealership for selling me a faulty car and failing to provide the reliable vehicle I expected. The lack of quality control and attention to detail is evident in the numerous issues I have encountered. I feel let down and betrayed as a customer who trusted in their reputation. In conclusion, my experience with Karplus Dealership has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the major engine failure to the multiple repairs, it is clear that the car I purchased was far from the reliable vehicle I was promised. I hope that by sharing my experience, others will be cautious when considering purchasing a car from Karplus Dealership. read more

I bought a 2006 Lariat F250 back in September of 2016. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PURCHASE GAP INSURANCE. THIS COMPANY GETS A HUGE KICK BACK FOR SELLING IT. SO THEY TRY AND JAM IT DOWN YOU THROAT. THE WARRANTY IS AS GOOD AS USED TOILET PAPER. I was looking for a diesel truck to pull a trailer that I had just purchased. I found this truck sitting on their lot listed at 14,900 with 196,000 miles on it. It was high but the previous owner had kept good care of it proven by a hefty carfax report. I instantly fell in love with the truck and shot gunned the purchase. I had no problem with getting finance. That said, I got stuck with 9.49% Ok fine, I transferred it to a 0% shortly thereafter. On the very first trip out with the trailer, I got a check engine light going up the Grape Vine. This was due the the engine oil temp exceeding the coolant temp by 20 degrees. This was due to a bad oil cooler. Ok fine, I went ahead and replaced it along with a bunch of other preventative maintenance items. None of this would have been covered by the used toilet paper warranty, which I did not purchase. That was fine, I could handle that. The Powerstroke 6.0 is a motor with known problems, and I knew this going in. I chose this truck mainly due to the carfax. I can and did fix most of the issues. 1500 dollars in parts. The truck mechanically is sound and in that regard, I scored. I will own this truck for a very long time since new diesels run 60 grand +. What I can't fix is the accident it was in, The driver door doesn't shut right, there is a 1/2 finger size gap between the front and rear passenger side door. and the bed sits out to the left by 1/8 inch and the front bed wall was bent so bad it touched the cab. I tried to correct this by bending the bed wall bad and adjusting the bed position on the frame. But you can still tell. The title was "clean" with "no accidents". Obviously the previous owner had an accident and got rid of the truck. karplus bought it at a salvage auction because although it had been in an accident, the title was clean. The truck is going to the shop soon to get this sorted out. This is "your run of the mill" quick flip dealership just bigger. Your not getting a great used car your getting a monthly payment. Next time, I will go to a real dealership and get a factory warranty. read more

My husband and I went here because my brother had a good experience many years ago. On May 1st we saw a Mazda 6 for sale on their website. We came into the lot and asked to see the Mazda but they could not find the car, later stating that it was sold from their Pasadena lot. I even called to confirm the car was there before driving from Lancaster. They most definitely did a bait and switch on us as I checked the website two weeks and then one month later and the car was still being advertised on their website. We ended up being pressured into purchasing a 2005 Dodge Magnum, turns out two days later the check engine came on, shortly after the ETC and BAS lights were on and the car started surging, I had no throttle and was forced to pull over and try to keep restarting until I could drive again. The car became so bad that it was not drivable. It spent the the next 10 days at the Dodge dealership while they tried to figure out what was wrong. Ended up being the PCM $800.00 to fix. Not only did Karsplus tell us one price and gave us another but they never disclosed that the car was a rental, I noticed it was a rental car during signing of the contract. NO ONE EVER mentioned it had a rental car history. Additionally the cars CD player doesn't work, driver speaker doesn't work the driver side & passenger airbag lights are always on(which the Dodge dealer said needs to be fixed for safety reasons). This dealership is very shady....i traded my Honda civic in and they only wanted to give me $800.00 low and behold the salesman had a "friend" just waiting around outside to offer me $1500.00( mhm...i'm sure this was a set up). I also deferred $500.00 until a later date to make the $2000.00 down they wanted, when the car was having issues I called to tell them I needed to work out paying the $500 at a later date as we have to pay for repairs instead. Ken (the owner) said to pay 1/2 now and 1/2 in two weeks, they never debited my account for the 500.00..........hmm why wouldn't they? Is this some sort of admission of guilt? Karsplus is not a good dealership to do business with they are scamming people and selling cars with mechanical issues. If you care about the money you work hard for and want a good dealership to work with please do not go here. I HIGHLY UNRECOMMEND THEM!!!!! read more

The process was very smooth and quick, was looking for an advertised vehicle from Carfax which actually showed the correct car history and overall maintenance and miles. The advertised price on the website was honored by the manager there which was very convenient. The salesman Mark who helped us find the vehicle right away was very helpful in answering my questions regarding the vehicle's history and features which proved very informative. His patience and knowledge of explaining the car process to us was extremely beneficial as I was also a first time car buyer. In purchasing my first time vehicle, Allen K. who is the director at the facility was also extremely helpful and very patient in the financial process with any questions we had about the warranty, history of the vehicle, and most of all the pricing. The car buying process with Allen K. was very informative and not rushed which I liked as each information or deal about the vehicle in interest was explained very carefully without any concerns. Regarding any concerns you may have such as warranties or prices, Allen K. is the best of the best when it comes to your number one source for answers. If you are a first time buyer or looking for a friendly dealership in Southern Cal, I would highly recommend Karplus Warehouse due to that they are on top and informative about the vehicle you have in interest. They provide you with contact information regarding any questions you may have before you even come in and they are very patient in helping fulfilling the needs you have. It is better to have patience when purchasing a vehicle rather than being rushed into something you are highly unsure about. It was an overall great experience for the first dealer I visited and already purchasing the car of my interest, this dealer is a great place to start read more

I will start by saying that this was the least stressful car buying experience I have had. My fiancé and I drove around to a few different car dealer ships looking for the right price on an Infinity that I have been obsessing over. I had a really bad taste in my mouth from the other experiences with dealers. The last guy we saw told me that his car had been sitting on the lot for over 6 month, and that he would rather "let the car rot on the lot then lose $1,000!" I was done after that statement. We didn't have an appointment when we showed up at Karptlus, but that didn't matter at all. Carlos (JC) was quick to attend to us. From the introduction, we knew instantly that this place was far better than any other place we had been too. Even though they did not have the same car we originally saw online, Carlos was able to show us one that was slightly better. He really advocated for us to get us the payment that we could afford, and Lon followed through. Lon made sure that I was totally comfortable with the payment and that he did everything he could possibly do. We were then seamlessly handed over to Max who finalized the purchase while making sure we got the absolute best interest rate. I was blown away at how well they all worked together. Carlos, Lon, and Max are definitely the dream team at Karplus. They were all very funny, and didn't try too hard to push the purchase on me. They knew I really wanted the car, and made sure i was able to drive it off the lot that night. So if you go make sure to ask for Carlos (JC) and he will definitely take care of you. Happy to have my new car. happier that I went to Karplus read more

Sooo i was car researching for a coupla months until i found the KARPLUS Warehouse site, long story short,my search was over!!! I asked JR one of the Managers if he could give me an over the phone (text)out the door price,he(JR) didn't hesitate! Not only did he meet my request,he also asked if that was in my price range, not once was i pressured about how much did i want to spend, very important for me. When i asked this same request from other dealedships,it was ALWAYS a song and dance with 99% of them. Fast forward to me moving on the quoted price JR gave me,but still had concerns if the vehicle was good. JR assured me the Vehicle is legit. After answering every question by me,i drove from San Diego to Pacoima,CA to do the deal! The sales men Rene was an absolute gentleman, very professional and courteous as it was very late that friday night (9:30pm ish). Rene should be employee of the month as he was juggling a few customers!! I agreed to pick up the car the next day,Saturday,it was then Orlando, the Finance manager gave me a KILLER warranty deal. So now today, 3/11/2018 I'm driving back to Tucson with my son fully confident with my purchase as i had the Vehicle checked out by a Honda Dealership in San Diego. The entire experience was so rewarding i wanted to share with the public! Thank you KARPLUS Wharehouse, the entire staff was 100% professional as we all know buying a car is stressful, not 1 time did i feel pressured or being swindled. I will vouch for this auto dealership, they sold me a 2014 Honda Accord with 30K plus miles on it for a excellent price. Well done fellas I salute you! Thank You Scott read more

I recently purchased a car from Karplus and I can honestly say that if I had to do it all over again I would have avoided this place like the plague. The problem I had was with the lies and BS I was fed in order to get me to sign the dotted line. They will even bribe you to write a good review and "you will get a gift card if you leave a 5 star rating. If you leave a 4 star rating "you won't get anything. My salesman and sales manager kept saying to me that while I'm doing the deal they are going wash and "detail" the car. When I received the car it was absolutely filthy! Not to mention the gas tank was completely empty and NONE of the issues they claimed that would be fixed were fixed. It was disgusting! I immediately brought this to the sales manager "Lon's" attention. I was basically told that I agreed to take the car "as is" and I signed the paperwork to prove it. I felt like I was in the twlight zone! Because he had gave me his word that these things would be taken care of and nothing was taken care of. It was a giant F' you and spit in my face. I know it sounds naive but I truly thought that these guys wouldn't screw me over. After I signed that line and paid out a deposit that was it. I was screwed! I ended up taking the car to the dealership and had to pay $885.72 in order to have the issues with the vehicle fixed. Please please please avoid this place! They are thieves and liars! It's NOT a matter of IF you'll get screwed. It's a matter of WHEN and HOW you will get screwed! Because it will definitely happen if you purchase a vehicle from this dealership. read more

WOW is all i have to say!! I usually look at a car online for more than a day before i even call the dealership to schedule a test drive but you know a great deal when you see one. saw a BMW Z4 in insanely great condition, 10 years old!! on a saturday, put in the inquiry to see if it's available blah blah, and got a call back from Karplus and scheduled a time to come look at it the next day. Got there and met Alex, Joel, Orlando, and Allen. Sales, to negotiation, to manager/finance approval and paperwork (in that order). I didn't need to negotiate because it was a great deal and got the internet price which was an additional $1300 less than the sticker price! The car was in...well...EXCELLENT condition, no scratches, no dents, no dings, paint still looks great! bought it and drove it home, and the guys drove my Hyundai Sonata back home for me as a courtesy delivery! Excellent experience with these 4 gentlemen and i couldn't be happier with my new BMW Z4! These cars age VERY well!! and i didn't realize it until i got back to my place and my neighbors complimented and checked it out and thought i was loaded dropping $60k on a BMW b/c i told them I bought it and not a lease (they thought it was 2018!!). Their surprise when i told them its a 2008 and the price!! I highly recommend going to this dealership and checking out their cars, i'm sure they have something in stock you're looking for! With over 500 cars on the lot, you should find something that meets your needs and wants! Thanks Alex, Joel, Orlando and Allen! read more

Having been through the tedious and typically manipulative auto purchasing process many times in my life I was reluctant to go into another dealership but at this point in my life I was in need of a good newer low mileage work truck to add to my business.I found exactly what I was looking for online at Karplus Warehouse.Even though it was a two hour drive I couldn't pass up on the listed special discounted price which I found to be lower than 3 other exact same model and year trucks others had with higher miles. When we got there we were greeted with the upmost friendliness and respect and without the pressure and pushiness of typical car sales people. Upon looking and inspecting the truck everything looked even better than I expected.AND unlike some others they stick to their internet price! We quickly made a deal and was directed to Allen Khasdaei the financing manager to do all the final paperwork.Allen was very professional and know his job well.Allen made sure that all our questions were answered and got us the best interest rate that he could. He listened to our concerns and really cares about his customers! Truly a great experience and wonderful people at Karplus!!Yoshi,John, and the whole team are great people to deal with..Would definitely recommend anyone looking for a clean quality vehicle for a fair price without the high pressure and stress of a typical used car dealership!! read more

I bought a Nissan nv200 here,5 days later it was repossessed.they sold me a van without clearing the last persons name.i missed work the next day because of this.i live over an hour away from this dealership.after a lot of arguing, they offered me a loan car,but I had to go pick it up.they said, when we get your van,we will have someone come out and get the loan car.2 weeks went by,they told me they couldn't get the van back and I had to go drop off the loan car and get another car or my money back.they lied about someone coming to get the loan car.they said they would give me my money back, plus insurance deposit and $200 compensation for driving back and forth and missing work,if I take my bad yelp review off,so I drove there, took my review off,he gives me my money for the van,$100 compensation and no insurance deposit.he shorted me $225.the next day,my van deposit check they gave me bounced.after arguing with them, later in the day it went through.after all the legal calls I made,I recommend, anyone that has a problem like this,to go file a small claims report at the court first before you make endless calls, file that before they give you your money back.dealerships that scam and mess with peoples lives need to be dealt with..Allen khalili lied to me.the other Allen k tried to turn it on me as if I was the bad guy.Andy is the guy who gets cars from auction,he didn't do his job right.. read more

On February 2, 2020, on Super Bowl Sunday, we walked into Karplus at around 8:30 pm looking for a car. We were greeted with a smile by one of the staff members. We specifically asked to see a 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport with 42,000 miles that was advertised on Cargurus.com at an unbeatable price. They immediately took care of us and went to prepare the car for a drive test. We took the car, it drove great, and we loved it. After some negotiations, we agreed on an out-the-door price that respected our budget, which included honoring the advertised price and the removal of their theft deterrent system. Since we hadn't had the chance to have the car inspected before purchase, we asked Mr. Hooman to help us get a signed authorization, which he did, to have the car inspected the following day, while the dealer waived potential restocking fees in the case the car wouldn't pass the inspection. The Manager agreed while saying he trusted his cars. Mr. Hooman took good care of us and did all paperwork in a professional way. We purchased the car with a convenient financing plan. We really appreciated their great service and left the dealer at 11 pm, so 2 hours after closing hours, on Super Bowl night! The inspection came fine, and we are still greatly satisfied with our purchase 9 months after. We recommend Karplus Warehouse and will come back to them for a future purchase. read more

My husband and I just bought a Mercedes GL 450 from Karplus Warehouse. We both work full time and so did our searching online, and came across Karplus as having one that seemed reasonable. It was a 40 mile drive for us, but when we got there, Wow! They had so many to choose from. After looking at four possibles, and test driving two, we found a Gorgeous '08 Desert Silver Metallic GL 450 with low miles, to fit our budget. Our Salesman Eleazar was real cool, calm, and patient. He was respectful and understanding. We explained to him exactly what we were in the market for, and he was willing to work with us even if it took all day. Once we had decided on what we wanted he took us to Lon who handled payment, paperwork, etc. We asked for a Carfax report which Lon gave us right away. He was also ready to answer our questions. Since we went slightly over budget, we decided to finance a loan for the difference so we were introduced to Max. He explained all the paperwork to us and we completed the transaction smoothly and efficiently and were out of there in record time. Our overall experience was good from the moment we arrived until we left. A real blessing from God. I recommend KarPlus as a good experience in buying a used car. Looking for a used car? Just like Manny, Moe and Jack...remember Eli (Eleazar), Lon and Max of Karplus Warehouse, Pacoima, CA. read more

I am a newbie with this Yelp thing, I just had my first review earlier with the restaurant we just had dinner at. We were starving after a long day of car shopping. My daughter has been looking for a Mini Coop that fits her preferences for she is really picky. I was talking to my friend over the phone and we had a long conversation for we have not seen each other for quite some time. So, I just so happened mentioning to her that we were looking for a car for my daughter and she wanted a Mini Coop. She told me she bought a car last year from Karplus Warehouse and recommended it to me and just check their website. And, there she was our Mini Coop waiting for us. She told me once we found a car that is perfect for my daughter just call them and look for Alexis Billones. We called and spoke to him and he was really a cool guy. So, we drove today from San Francisco, when we got to the dealership, we were really surprised for we thought it was one of those shady small used car dealership but oh man they have a huge inventory. We, were skeptical for we had some bad experiences from other car dealerships but due to my friend's recommendation we drove 5 hours. I owe them these review for my daughter's happiness is most important for me and the experience we had with Alexis was awesome. To the managers who made this deal happen Thank you!!!! read more

This was my second vehicle purchase with Karplus, I literally drove an hour from this location, and I have to say it was so worth it. I will never go to a different dealership. You have a loyal and grateful customer. I was blessed to have been able to leave the lot with a vehicle. Orlando and Hooman have really went above and beyond. Hooman was amazing, he got me in and out as fast as he could, explained in detail what I was signing, answered any questions I asked, and truly blessed me with GAP insurance. Orlando was very kind and remembered my husband and I from our last purchase, he got me a lower apr rate and worked with me on my down payment. My car had a slight rip on the seat and they got it fixed and upholstered the same day.I couldnt believe it, the same day. I'm truly grateful for you guys at Karplus. I was really sad due to losing my car to an accident and did not believe I would be able to get into a vehicle as soon as I did. Hooman and Orlando made that posible, words cant explain how great these guys are here. Also my salesman was very amazing attentive, listened to my needs and was patient with me, It was very hot out and he walked with me throught the entire lot, offered us some water and truly helped me find the vehicle I am currently in love with. Thank you all at Karplus. You guys are F!@#$%^ AWESOME! -Destiny M. read more

We purchased over President's Day weekend in February. From start to finish, I was very pleased with our experience. Yes, the place is old, in an industrial part of town, and kind of has that used car dealer vibe, but everyone we interacted with was was friendly, positive, and worked to make sure we had the best experience. No one was pushy. They let us look at the cars we were interested in without trying to upsell us to something else. Took a nice test drive. The price on the car we ended up purchasing was great and inline or slightly lower than every car value website I checked. (I had literally been researching this car model for a month!) When it came to paperwork, I had already read through the fees and such at their website before even visiting the dealer, so I was was waiting to see what they would do. They pointed out everything upfront without trying to hide them or sneak them in. They offered extra services but did not push when I declined. The entire purchase experience took quite a while, but it was evening on a very busy holiday weekend, so I can't fault them. There were several people involved in our experience and I am afraid I can't remember them all, our salesman was Joel. Thanks Karplus for making our experience pain free and pleasant. read more

They are seriously helpful and knowledgable car dealer. I found one of Karplus's cars online, I've been looking for a new car for my gf for some time now. We wanted an electric car so we decided on a Tesla model S P85. When I saw Karplus warehouse listing, I knew it was the right car for us. The car was everything we were looking for, plus more. Our new car came with all the extras, plus rear seats and custom wheels, all at an excellent price! Karplus warehouse took our trade in at a fair value, and arranged the financing for us. The financing that he set us up with is very comfortable for our budget. We handled all of the details before seeing the car, (we are 40 miles away) which I felt comfortable with because of Karplus warehouse demeanor and his professional communication. My gf went to pick the car up and drop off our trade in, while I was at work. When she returned with the car, I almost lost my mind! This car is amazing in every way, and Karplus warehouse was spot on about the details. We got way more than I was expecting! I don't think we could have ended up with a total all around win with anyone else. I will forever more call Karplus warehouse first when I need another car. Karplus warehouse is the real deal, look no further. read more
