Our kitty Farty started bleeding one day, stopped eating and moving. We took him to an emergency vet, and they basically said there was nothing they could do, and he was fine. After 3 days or trying to get to eat, drink, ect we, we feared that we would have to put him down. He was fading quickly, and we hated watching him suffer. My mom wanted to try and took him here, and thanks to the doctors collaborating and trying to figure out what was wrong, they were able to bring him back to his old self after weeks of care. He had a severe undiagnosed UTI, hyperthyroidism, and possible IBD. He was on deaths door, we were so heartbroken, and because of the caring of this vet, they were able to bring him back to his old self. I also recently brought my kitty Tiny in a panic due to her not keeping any food or liquid down, and they fit me in and were extremely understanding even though they were short staffed that day. This is the best vet I've been too and I always feel listened to, and I feel like they care about the animals so much. Every time I'm here, the phones are ringing off the hook, and I can see why. This is possibly the best vet in the area.

I can't say enough good things about EaseMyMind! I had so much trouble finding a sitter, I contacted two other places and one NEVER returned my call and the other couldn't come on to Fort Hood...luckily, however, the 2nd person I contact recommended me to Daniela. First of all, the website for EaseMyMind is fantastic. It has a customer portal that you can create an account on and enter all the details about your furbabies and it has online scheduling so you can easily schedule and manage everything right from there. But, on top of that, Daniela has no issue communicating via text on top of that. I scheduled my free meet & greet with and she stayed for I think about an hour getting to know my pups, seeing where they sleep, where all of their food and things are, how they react to strangers and what all of their little quirks are.She brought all the paperwork with her and explained everything to me and told me I could text her whenever I needed to with questions or concerns. After everything was officially scheduled and I dropped off my key to her, the payment process was super easy too as she has an online payment system that you can use. I also love that there is only one fee for the visit and no surcharge for having multiple pets in one household (we have 3 dogs so that could be pricey!). On the day of my day trip out of town, I text Daniela to let her know when we actually left so she could make sure the first sitter visit wasn't too early or too late. A few hours later I received a pet journal notification in my e-mail with an entry from the pet sitter telling me what was done on the visit and how the dogs were doing as well as pictures of all of them. It was super easy to view everything from my phone and it was reassuring that all my dogs were happy and that there were no complications. Later on in the day, I logged in to my account and realized I made a mistake on some of the notes I left for the sitter. On my account, I asked the sitter to feed them dinner at the 2nd visit but on a note I left on their food I said to feed at the last visit. Luckily I caught that mistake at the same time as the sitter and they were able to get the correct information from me so the pups could be fed at the correct time. What made it so easy is that Daniela was easily available via text so we could get eveything sorted out quickly. For the rest of the day I got my updates and when I go home that night my furbabies seemed much less stressed over me being gone for 12 hours+ hours and I came home to find that my sitter had even washed their food bowls, which was so nice! :) Needless to say, I'll continue to use EaseMyMind in the future.

Both my dogs have never been kenneled, and one is a rescue who had separation anxiety issues when I adopted her a year ago. These issues have greatly reduced over time, but I was still worried about using a kennel or leaving her for more than 6 hours at a time. EaseMyMind was very thorough in their intake interview and I greatly appreciated the text updates three times a day. I think the photos, QR codes, and written logs give clients piece of mind while they are away. I am very happy with how my dogs were cared for while I was on vacation and hope to use them in the future! I used a doggie daycare service with sad results, so I am very happy to have found a way to keep my dogs at home in a safe and familiar environment.

BUT because they have her on camera walking normally out of the facility when I picked them up, they are refusing to take responsibility. My dog was lifted in and out of my vehicle by me, my dog has not been subject to any unusual day to day activities since I picked her up. She started exhibiting her symptoms as soon as we got home. Previous stays have resulted in Urinary tract infections in both my dogs on separate occasions which leads me to believe my dogs weren't getting adequate water and their room wasn't kept adequately clean. BUT the owner of the facility basically told me I was a crappy per owner and they could have come to boarding already sick. (Total bs). My Great Dane has come home with screaming raw abrasions on her elbows more than once and I'm pretty sure it's because they remove all bedding from the room HOURS before they get picked up and she is forced to lay on the concrete. I tried to voice each concern with the owner separately in a phone call, not only was he flippant and rude, he barely let me get a word in edgewise over his constant excuse making. He pretty much told me to never bring my pets back to the facility as they'd be better off without my business, and I sure as hell won't be! I worked for a 13 room luxury boarding facility for 2 years before we moved to Texas. Never in my life have I dealt with someone so nasty and rude.

I asked the woman who checked me out, how long had my dog eye been oozing the stuff and she said I just got back let go ask. She returned and told me that no one noticed anything. I then asked, so my dogs had no interaction with other dogs per my request, did they not have interaction with the staff. I called my pets veterinarian office in the presence of the same staffer who checked me out. I paid $75.00 for an emergency visit. Upon completion of my visit to the veterinarian, I returned and told the same woman my dog has an eye infection which she did not have when I dropped them off. I presented her with the receipt from the visit and requested reimbursement. She said she'd let the owner know. NO ONE FROM THE ESTABLISHMENT HAD THE COURTESY To CONTACT ME AND ASK HOW MY DOG IS DOING. Jerome the owner requested that I get my dogs veterinarian to write something stating that they caused the problem. REALLY? They identified the problem and treated my dog along with prescription. My biggest problem is no staff could say when they first saw the problem with my dog. They had my veterinarian information they had 2 different contact phone numbers . I left a small bag of IAMS dog food , when I picked my dogs up I was given the bag of food almost with the same amount of food in it. Both of my dogs lost 1 1/2 - 2 pounds and I have the proof. It's very obvious they weren't fed as I informed they are self fed. Bottom line, Board here and hope nothing happens. Lesson learned, I'll board at the luxury pet hotel next time. They give you a link to your dogs room and because they have nothing to hide, you can check in on your pet children at any time and see how they are doing. It will be worth it.
