I literally come here all the time. This was a hole in the wall to me when I first came here, and ever since my first visit I was hooked. It's a cheap, good eats place that you wanna tell your friends about. They have great happy hour deals from 3pm-6pm everyday. I always go for the chicken pad thai, pineapple cream cheese wontons, and spicy edamame. The prices are ridiculously good while the food is even better than its price. The pad Thai always leaves me crazy full since the serving is so big. The pineapple cream cheese wontons are so unique and they come with this delicious mint dipping sauce that I've still never been able to put my finger on what's in it. The spicy edamame isn't like other places, it's not a sauce they cook it in. It's as if they grill it with red chili peppers. These three are my go-tos, seriously so good. If you're not there for happy hour, they also have a good lunch deal, under the "woks." similar to a bento box deal at a Japanese restaurant. Even if you're not there during lunch or happy hour, prices are still really affordable. Everything I've had is good and the workers are really friendly. The interior has a very cool, chill vibe. Hubby and I decided to come here for lunch (actually early dinner for us because of the time zone). I love the vibe it had with the Asian decor and dark colored tables. They also had awesome music playing. We were seated immediately. Saturday's happy hour got me a small carafe of sake for $1. Yay! I ordered a calamari salad and the Kobe beef lettuce wraps. The calamari salad was delicious! Atop a good sized amount of greens were a generous amount of squid in a citrus tasting vinaigrette. My Kobe beef lettuce wraps were okay. You couldn't really tell it was Kobe beef because it was grounded up real fine. It was good. The lettuce was fresh and good sized. However there wasn't a sauce that came with it. Lunch was spot on. The spicy basil tofu and vegetable wok dish was nicely presented in a bento box and tasty. Zippy mint and pineapple dressing on the greens that accompanied the rice, stir fry, soup and egg roll. Reasonably priced and nice atmosphere. My friend and I came here for a late lunch in celebration of Lunar New Year. The reviews looked very promising so we decided to give it a try. I'm Chinese and I've had some of the best Chinese, Korean, Thai and Japanese food in LA and San Fran so naturally I have high expectations. DECOR: the restaurant was tasteless decorated in traditional Asian fashion with Buddha, water feature and all. It's dim lit. FOOD: given that it's Asian fusion the menu features Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese food. I was a little skeptical of the quality of the dishes due to the wide variety because good restaurants only specialize in a handful of signature dishes. Anyway, we went ahead and ordered the Dan Dan Noodles with tofu and beef Pad Thai. I loved the presentation on the plate but it kind of went downhill after that. The beef was very tender but the rest of the dish lacks that traditional Pad Thai flavor and it's a bit on the sweet side. Similarly, the Dan Dan Noodles were good but not even close to the authentic style I had. The shu mai appetizer was lukewarm when it arrived but the server politely took it off our bill. SERVICE: There were two people working when we went. The woman had her earphone on when she brought out the water to us...without a proper greeting and just left the table! I understand that this is a popular takeout place but having good customer service is a necessity in the food industry! The man was much more friendly and helpful with our order. VERDICT: If you enjoy delicious and authentic Asian food with great customer service, I'd recommend looking elsewhere (I know one that's only a few steps away)! It comes with mushrooms, chicken and onions. - I got the red curry - the menu didn't really specify the peanut part, it just said red curry. You can REALLY taste the peanuts. I wouldn't have minded it, but it was such a strong peanut taste that I couldn't finished it since it wasn't very spicy either. + The presentation of the dish is amazing! It comes out over an open flame and stays hot. SERVICE + Very friendly and attentive staff! Good service overall. LOCATION + A lot seating available (no outdoor seating). - Located in a popular area of Broadway. Easy to find! However, parking can be a doozy. There is only metered parking for all of the stores/restaurants nearby. It's really not fun to have to walk from a spot far away. We came here for a "Romantic" Double Date a couple nights ago! My best friend since childhood actually enjoyed the location and thanked me for recommending this place. I wanted to come here a second time to see if it was any better than the first. It occurred to me that are streets are filled with lots of horribly drunk and obnoxious people lately, an increase in homeless people begging for food when you're dining outside the patio, more often than I used to see back then. Kudos to the staff of Go Fish and other restaurants for catering and giving away food to service all people brings me at ease.This by far isn't Karma Asian's fault by the way. I actually dined in two times at this restaurant, and it was A-Ok both times. The first time was June 2019, came in with a friend on a lovely day! I totally felt bold and craved something different. The Thai Curries sounded nice and gave the Pineapple Curry a try.. Not my favorite, felt that the spices were off and maybe it wasn't for me. The only thing I enjoyed out of the Pineapple Thai Curry was, well, the Pineapple rings. The food looked much better than it tasted. On a positive note, I will say that I loved the Karma Starters, always since dining in! The wontons, no matter the flavor, are always very soft, warm and creamy. They have delicious peppermint flavored dipping sauce that is light and gives the wonton full flavor. I ordered a Hello Kitty Margarita drink, which looked to me very girly and cute. I have never seen that at any other fusion restaurant and that drink is what'll bring me back. I actually recommended my girlfriend the Hello Kitty drink and she absolutely loved it! I do love the charm and attentive service at Karma Asian Fusion, and felt that they don't disappoint me. Our good friend Eddie, ordered an appetizer of the Shumai, which came with several little bite sized pieces of warm Gyouza. I can compare it to the steamed dumplings. Parking can be tricky but the food is worth it. The restaurant is fairly small. I went in with a group of 4 and they had to pull 2 small tables together for us. The two Asian staffs were highly efficient. Order quickly taken and food were served in less than 10min. We shared the "must-have" spicy edamame, which did not disappoint. I got a curry stew with pork chops. It was spicy, well flavored. The amount of pork given was generous. Hubby got drunken noodles. The noodles themselves were not cooked to be soft enough for my taste but I was still impressed by the sauce and flavor (take home leftovers were sooo good the next day). Stopped by this place when we were in Denver for dinner. It had pretty good reviews on yelp and we were in the mood for Asian. I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps, but I was a little bit disappointed. It was mostly apples. The menu does state that it contains apples, but I wasn't expecting so many apples. The hot and sour soup was okay. A little on the cold side, but it was also very cold outside at the time. My boyfriend ordered the dan dan noodles. He said they were good. A variety of traditional Asian dishes without the fusion. Sometimes it's nice to have a traditional plate - you're not gonna find a sushi burrito, Korean taco or bao buns here. Karma has Vietnamese, Korean, Thai, Lao, Japanese and Chinese dishes and have resisted the temptation of combining Asian cuisine with non traditional ingredients. If you have trouble choosing from the big menu... my fav dishes are the Kal Bi or Drunken Noodles with the spicy edamame appetizer. Happy hour is 7 days a week and amazing - $4 appetizers, $7 plates, $1 sake or buy one get one beer. I've come here for lunch, happy hour, and dinner and always had quality food and service. Came here to dine in the other night. It was unlike any Asian food I've ever had... I ordered a cup of the miso soup to start with. For only $2 it was a pretty generous portion and was super tasty. I really enjoyed the soup. I also ordered the dan dan noodles and green curry. The dan dan noodles were NOT the sichuan style of noodles I was expecting. There was no ground pork, peanuts or tangy oil. It was more like lo mein type noodles with tons of veggies in a sweetish sauce. The BBQ pork it came with was tasty, but sadly this dish is simply not what I was expecting. I asked the waiter to make sure I had been given dan dan noodles and not lo mein or some other kind of noodle dish, and he confirmed that was their dan dan noodle dish. I also got an order of the green curry. This was unlike any green curry I've ever ordered. Green curry usually has bamboo shoots, peas, basil and zucchini. While the curry I ordered did have large rounds of zucchini, there were non of the other usual veggies. There were huge hunks of broccoli instead and some carrot. The consistency was also more gelatinous than creamy. Overall, it wasn't bad tasting or anything, but again simply not what I had expected. Overall, prices are really reasonable, drinks are very affordable, and the ambience is nice. However, I would check photos of what items are (sadly I didn't take any) before ordering to make sure you know what you're getting. read more

Went last night and got the chicken pho, along with the chicken pot stickers. The potstickers were perfectly cooked, but I'm here to mainly talk about the star of this show at Karma... Hands down, THE BEST pho I've ever tried! I'm from Florida, so I went here on a friend's recommendation, which I'm happy, yet sad about now... I'm sad because I will not be able to have this every night of the week! Glad I found this gem and will definitely be back next time I'm in town. Decor is dated and nothing special, but that is nothing to goff at, once you let the food speak for the place! Side note: the pho does not have sizes listed on the menu, so I was hesitant of how much would actually come in a serving (in all my phocking experiences, this is an area that varies the most). This, was a worry I never should have had at Karma! The bowls are literally the size of my head! It's a delicious broth on its own, but I opted for some cilantro, basil, and bean sprouts for accompaniment to the mouthwatering base of noodles and chunks of chicken. I decided to take it a notch further to tantalize another sensory on my flavor palette by adding a couple dashes of Sriracha. Went to visit a friend in the hospital, but he was sleeping and we were hungry so we decided to go get some great food at Karma Asian during their Happy Hour (which is every day from 3-6pm). :-) Place had a great casual atmosphere and our server was very friendly and efficient. Started off ordering three hot Sake carafes and if you also order a beer, you get the second one free! Got the pineapple wontons, pad thai, spicy edamame and the chicken lettuce wraps. Everything was delicious and a great deal for around $26 for three people--that is definitely a very Happy Hour!! Plenty of off street parking available. Literally best prices in Denver. All of the entrees are $10, regardless of protein. The drinks are $7 and they have a large selection of Sake. This place offers quite a large selection of Asian food from curries to noodles, to Chinese staples like sesame and orange chicken. Fast, thoughtful service, consistently great food. Recommend trying their wacky mixed drinks (and that sesame ball and warm chocolate dipping sauce dessert nomnom). Karma also has a decent sake list. We would eat here often before Covid, and now it is really easy to order for pick up or delivery. Staff is friendly and food is delicious. It's also nice being able to just call and place an order for delivery, instead of having to create an account on a new system, pay a fee, etc. My favorite dishes are the mapo tofu and dan dan noodles. read more

Bewildered by the good reviews, everything was awful. We ordered the Volcano wok dish, the green curry and the fresh spring rolls. All were cheaply made with bad ingredients, sauces were awful. Thickened with cornstarch with no authentic Asian flavor. The volcano sauce tasted like cheap tomato sauce out of a can, and the green curry tasted nothing like green curry, it tasted like cheap, golden curry from the grocery store. i seriously cannot wrap my head around how anyone could find the food even mediocre. read more

Currently writing this on the way to the emergency room. I'm on a visit from out of state and my friend said that this place was good - she had been a few times before with no problem at all with other friends and family. We were seated right away, immediately given water, and given menus. My friend said that she really likes curry, but she also has an extreme nut allergy, so she's super careful about what she eats. We asked which curry didn't have nuts, and even asked multiple people (including when her dish came out) and we were reassured that there was no nuts in the dish. A few bites in, she starts feeling a tightness in her throat and asks a different server if there's peanuts in her curry, and he said there wasn't, but that there was peanut butter. Obviously she's still severely allergic to peanut butter, so another member of our party rushed to the drug store down the street to get some Benadryl while she went outside to call her parents. I stayed inside to close our tab. When our server dropped off the check, her dish (which was literally marked with "no peanuts") was still on the tab. I really can't recommend any place that is this careless with extreme allergies, especially when the customer asks multiple times if this is allergy safe, or at least nut-free. If you have no allergies, you have nothing to worry about, but please think before coming here just in case. read more

My final assessment: NOT consistent - I have been here about 7 times now during different days, times, and crew on staff. However, I have noticed that lunch time, on weekdays, is the ONLY time I receive delicious food. During dinner and busy weekends I get over-salted/over-spiced food. I love Karma so much. When friends or family visit from out of state, it is always the first restaurant we take them to. I frequented it as much as possible when dining out. Some things are hit or miss...miso soup I had was inexplicably sweet, and the volcano chicken was sort of odd (good, heavy on clove flavor, maybe not for me/my personal tastes). Everything else is fantastic. Standouts are the honey prawns, black pepper chicken, salt and pepper pork, and the garlic mongolian beef. I am still making my way through the menu. Spicy edamame is a must, don't skip it. I also LOVE their kimchi - it is pungent, garlicky, and slightly fizzy so you can tell it is well-fermented. I am drooling just thinking about it... I have never received anything but amazing service from all restaurant staff and the owner, I'll be getting takeout whenever I can to support these guys! read more

Completely underwhelmed. I ordered the drunken noodles which should be saucy but these almost had a powdery consistency. Three bites, and I'd had enough. Who wants to eat powdery noodles?! My boyfriend had the orange chicken and an order of fried rice. The fried rice, literally tasted like a side of white rice with almost NO flavoring. One of the things we love about Asian food are the flavors and this was the first order we had a few bites of, could not finish, and ended up ordering from somewhere else (delivered both times). Spent $50 for a terrible meal just to end up spending another $50! If you like flavor, this place is not for you. We will definitely never order from here again. read more

I have been coming to Karma for years and they are always consistently good. The service is top notch. Prices are excellent. They are located in my favorite part of Denver on South Broadway.
