Christmas came early for me in June, in the form of a gift of karaoke with friends, packaged in an aptly tinsel-and-twinkling-light-decorated entrance and lobby. Call in advance or go up to the counter and they can book you a room to fit individual rooms in various sizes. They have a number of different packages with drinks included, or you can BYOB/A. The location is downstairs from the storefront entrance and an elevator is also available. A Christmas tree greets you then a dim though spacious lobby with a few disco balls, sofa seating for about a dozen, a colorfully lit up bar that also seats several people. There are tv screens set up in the lobby lounge and bar area, suggesting you can karaoke here too if you'd like, though most of the guests are here for the private rooms where you and your entourage can sing your heart out until the wee hours of the morning. Open 4pm-4am most days of the week, and starting 3pm weekends! They have a very updated list of songs online (link below) as well as the traditional thick book of printed song lists if you want to do it that way. Enter the song number via the remote control and into the queue it goes! At $10/pp per hour the rates for private rooms are terrific. Drinks and food are reasonably priced and you can order via QR code or directly with the staff, we didn't try the food this time tho got a couple bottles of soju (dangerously juicy) to share. Spacious and clean rooms, accommodating staff, great prices and song selection...Overall, a great spot for karaoke with strong advantages over the other spots we've tried. They had spaces with more than enough room for a party of 10+ and they checked in regularly to ensure we had what we needed. The mics were also loud, and the surround system volume and sound made it a good experience. One of the few times I haven't hesitated when they ask if we want to stay for another hour. We had such an amazing time at the karaoke place and a huge part of that was thanks to Daniel. From the moment we walked in he was welcoming, energetic, and on top of everything. You could immediately tell he enjoys what he does and genuinely wants everyone to have a good time. Throughout the night Daniel made sure everything ran smoothly. He was super helpful with getting our song requests in quickly, gave us helpful tips on how the system worked, and kept the vibe upbeat and fun without being overbearing. He checked in on our group multiple times just to make sure we had everything we needed whether it was drinks, technical help with the mic, or just encouragement before getting up to sing. What really stood out was how Daniel interacted with everyone. He was just as supportive to the shy singers as he was to the confident ones and you could tell he worked hard to make sure everyone felt comfortable and included. His positive attitude and great sense of humor made the whole experience even better. If you are planning to visit this karaoke spot I hope you get the chance to be helped by Daniel. This is such a strange place. I mean that in the nicest way possible. So many questions: What kind of a name is Karaoke Christmas? What is up with the antiquated decor? Does anyone actually work here? How is the song selection so whack yet so good? Why is it constantly dead in here? Why I am I here? What is the meaning of life? None of it matters. Almost every time I've been here, it's been such a blast that everything just magically fits. The staff that is here is so lax that whoever comes here is practically guaranteed a good time. Debauchery in a private room where one can scream their faces off without the consequences of noise complaints is an exercise in relief. Folks get crunk with no regard to what day of the week it is. Eventually my thoughts are: * Everyone is suddenly a great singer. * The outside food is tasting wonderful. * I already forgot how long my commute to Bayside was. * This is insanity, but in the best way. Like many things in life, it's about the company you choose to be around. When you're around fun people, every scenario is destined for greatness, it's just that Karaoke Christmas provides the tools to take it the next level. So this place is quite run down and crappy if the lights were fully on in those rooms I might be a bit turned off. Furniture is pretty run down and well doesn't look like it's ever been clean. Can't say enough about this place. They have a wondeful 40 person large room that you can book ahead with a tiny deposit. I was able to book it a few weeks in advance. They let you bring your own food and drinks for an modest upcharge, however, order from their menu. It's wonderful Korean small bites cooked to order and wonderfully tasty. My favorite thing in the food menu is the Buttered Squid. Staff was super attentive when I pushed the button and the managers were nice and helpful. Definitly coming back again and again! read more

Came to have some fun with friends after a nice dinner. I always pass this place when I'm driving and I was always curious on what the hooplah was about? This place is a a party and then some! You get charged per person for the room reservation and plus whatever you're drinking or eating. They have figured out that you'll have all the fun and then some! They charge per hour for the room, the rooms are spacious and very clean. Each room has nice and speakers and televisions for a perfect lyric following. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I chose this karaoke venue for my 30th birthday party. I wanted a BYOB so that it would be a cost effective good time. This place came highly recommended. The staff was helpful and for $9/HR per person, you can't beat that. Easy to get to and ample parking. I made a reservation for 15 people at 11 p.m. on a friday. The deposit was a refundable $30. The place was not packed, there was 1 other party going on. When everyone arrived, we were given a tutorial and it was then discovered that the server on the American system was down. :::DUN DUN:::: There was no connection. Staff worked on this technicality for over a Hour, never informing me of an alternative option. The party next door played songs from their IPhone. I had to ask an hour later if we could be moved to another room with a Korean system? The difference is the korean system has less American songs available and operated through a different system. The American system operates by codes in a large text book with recent song titles available. We kept it moving and upgraded to a better room, much more spacious and with more furniture. We tore the house down. They brought chicken and crinkle cut fries to make up for our lost karaoke time and we were not billed for the lost hours. The chicken and fries were terrible. My party ordered pizza after that. All in all, staff showed a kind gesture. We enjoyed our liquor and partied on. I disliked the rooms here. Very outdated. This place has potential but they need renovation. You get what you pay for. For a BYOB and food, you can't go wrong I guess. All in all, I'm sticking to midtown K- town for my karaoke forever. read more

I don't even understand or remember how we got here. But here I was with a group of 10 girls on a Saturday at 1 am trying to be a cool adult and stay up late. On our way there I called and asked if they had a room available for ten and was told yes. As soon as we arrived our room was ready. I can't tell if it was clean or not because it's 1 am and I don't even know why I was there. Bottom line here is, I had fun. The thing about this place is that it is the only karaoke place on Bell making it super convenient. They charge $8 per person per hour on a Saturday night which isn't bad. It does end up being about $10 per person with tax and gratuity. I didn't dare order any food from here for the obvious reasons. They have some drink selections with beers ranging from $6-$8. In terms of the available songs we actually only focused on Spanish songs for the night so I wasn't expecting those to be updated in any way. They had enough classic selections for us to be happy and sing our hearts out. They should def update the list. Overall, we had a pretty good time and I'll prob end up here again soon! read more

Management is horrible and does not have a clear grasp on what their own policies are. We had a mixed group of people under and over 21. Management stated that no drinks of any kind will be allowed in the room after paying the $20 byob charge. This includes any kind of juices or water that may be needed for diabetics in our group. Furthermore, management stated that people will not be allowed to drink at the bar even if they're OVER 21!!! They also required payment upfront from everybody which was ridiculous. It is very apparent that the people working their had no idea what they were talking about and kept on making up rules on the go. Unbelievable! I came here today with my friends to have some fun before we all go off to college. Before entering the karaoke room, we made sure they specifically said "$13 per person; it doesn't matter how long." Initially I thought the deal was amazing and the Yelp reviews were accurate as to how affordable and great this place was. Wrong. We stayed for 3 hours, unknowingly that we were being charged by time. We came out after no buying any food or drinks and were presented a $266 bill. The person working said that she fully explained everything but clearly she didn't. We paid the bill and left upset and almost broke. We will never come here again and I would not recommend it; there are cheaper places where we could've went for the exact same experience or even better. Zero stars; we are fuming. read more

This karaoke place is very clean. The staff is very nice and friendly. The cost was $9 per person per hour. They come check in once in a while to make sure everything is alright. They explained to us as a first timers there how to use the remote, to select songs, the do's and don't. ( like DON'T press the pause button because it will mess it up the video or tv.. ) They have a huge selections of songs. However, when singing to some songs, we noticed the lyrics were either spelled wrong or not in tune with the song. Or it was missing a few words. Like my favorite band Fall Out Boy songs were a bit out of tune. :/ But I think that's like all karaoke places anyways. When paying, I asked if I could have a copy of my receipt with the break down of the price and he said I couldn't but he did write it on a separate piece of paper, so that was nice of him as an alternative. :) It's fun to be here if you want to hang out with a group of friends and just relax, sing your heart out! Will I come back? Yes, because even though I had problems with the songs, you can't find better good service around Queens for a late Karaoke night then here. This place used to be MoA Karaoke. I remember going to Moa a lot but then they got expensive real quick and I ended up looking elsewhere to sing my heart out. When I rediscovered this place because of a friend, I was surprised at all the special they had. They have something called "Unlimited Karaoke" which basically is 1 set price at $11 for 6 hours of singing. Craziness! I don't think anyone would pass up that kind of offer, if you're a karaoke lover like me. Even if you come after the unlimited karaoke hours, the base price isn't that bad at all. Last time I went, the total came out to $32 for 1.36 hours. This was split among 4 people. For anyone that karaokes a lot, this is a pretty decent price. It's clean. The interior is pretty modern. It doesn't smell bad. They have signs that tell people to smoke outside. They also have drink specials and food specials here. You get to eat, drink, and sing to your heart's content. The only downside might be that it is kind of difficult to find parking, but it just takes a sharp eye and some awesome parallel parking skills. Any parking spot is walking distance to the karaoke, so it's actually not too bad. Besides, if you go to Queens a lot or reside there, finding parking shouldn't be a problem anyway. Located a bit further down than the main bell blvd area where all the restaurants/bars are, I'm shocked this place gets business often it seems. They have private rooms that vary in size so we usually get a room that accommodates about 15-20, but last night we got an even bigger room that fit a maximum of 30. Per person, It came out to $9 per hour for the first hour, and then they charge by the minute (I.e. Last night for 1.5 hours came out to $15/person with tax/tip). FYI- $30 minimum when using credit card so bring cash! Be mindful to watch the clock and not go over the amount of time you're willing to pay for- you get a little distracted when belting out Journey- Don't stop believing and Queen- Bohemian Rhapsody at the top of your lungs! While their song list is quite extensive, it was a little overwhelming to look through and we probably wasted the first 10-15 minutes of our time looking through the book to find songs we wanted. Also the controller they had was outdated with written words over the buttons.. We weren't sure which button was used to "skip" songs- so Id recommend having them explain this beforehand. We also had some Microphone issues (wasn't working even halfway into it and a staff member had to come test it for us). Besides that, they have big TV screens that make it easy for people with awful vision (me) to easily read the screens. I also like the couches in the rooms that give it a lounge-y vibe for those who want to sit, but also a little dance space for those who really wanna get into the karaoke-spirit. read more

Really not the most visually appealing place but their song selection is AMAZING! lots of r&b and hip hop updated by year. they have very recent artists and songs. drinks are really good too. service can be a little slow but there's normally not a lot of people here on the days of the week i've been (wasn't a weekend). i've had fun every single time. definitely love this place even though i wish it looked a little better, would've wanted to host a party here. read more
