Amongst our group of 13 people, we all had issues connecting to the WiFi and the tv. I convinced the front desk to give us an iPad to manage the music and that also wasn't working. I called the guys to the room multiple times to troubleshoot and it still wasn't working. We fought with the technology throughout the whole 3 hour reservation which really made it difficult to enjoy the experience. During the times it was working, the app was glitchy and we had difficulties seeing the queue and skipping over songs. Also, one of the microphones was barely working. Additionally, before booking I inquired amongst a number of places to compare prices. We picked this place because we were told that there would be an assigned server to our room to allow us to enjoy the open bar experience and not have to step out to the bar to get drinks. Upon arriving, I was told that wasn't the case, even though it was in my email. After a lot of back and forth, they finally agreed to come serve to our room but there were still times I had to leave the room and chase them down. I have done karaoke many times and this was a very stressful experience.

I didn't want the traditional vibes i wanted a night out with the girls and my cousin booked a party bus and time here. We got a huge room upstairs as it was more than 12 of us and we had a great time singing 80-90s and early 2000s music esp boy bands which are my favorite. The staff here is nice and friendly and everything is very clean except the restroom. Restroom is small and a bit dingy, def needs an upgrade but otherwise, clean. Garbage areas everywhere and they provided a bucket of ice. Room large enough to fit over 20 people and coat racks available. There's a nice service area inside that has utensils at no extra cost. The weather may have affected it as it was a rainy night but surprisingly it wasn't completely packed out for a Saturday night, which was nice. The open space karaoke definitely gets your share of American Idol wannabes waiting for their moment to shine that you would expect a karaoke spot to have. When we discovered it the first time earlier in the year, we loved their BYOB model and blasted through an hour of time very quickly. Many drinks were had and many songs were song in a small group. I ended up coming back later in the year to celebrate my birthday and it was a fantastic time. Anyone who knows me knows I can span MANY genres in a karaoke session. The song choices were all there. Everything from "Don't go Breaking my Heart" to "Breaking Free" from High School Musical, to my signature "You Belong with Me" by Taylor Swift, to "Face Down" by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, to "Pink Pony Club" by Chappell Roan, to "Holding Out for a Hero" by Bonnie Tyler (from Shrek). When I explained what I had been told on the phone less than 15 minutes earlier, staff said that if we wanted a room, we were supposed to arrive 1.5 hours before closing. That information was never mentioned on the phone. If rooms stop being booked after a certain time, that should be clearly stated when someone calls--especially when you're telling people you close at 3 AM. We weren't the only ones. At least three other groups also left upset, saying they were told the same thing: that the place closes at 3 AM, without being told there was a cutoff time to enter.

The bar was attached to the restaurant, and I bet if it wasn't so dark in there I would've been really grossed out by how dirty it was. The crowd wasn't any better. It was a weird mix of ages, and mostly everyone sat alone. Only two people (outside of my group) got up to dance. Plus, a Bud Light was $5-6. But I guess that's Times Square prices for you.
