Goat karahi

We went here for lunch on a Saturday. We loved the ambience and we could hear the Coke Studio songs playing in the background! The waitress was helpful in deciding what we wanted to order. The food was worth the wait! The karahis are flavorful, not too spicy and amount was good. Overall we had a good experience and will recommend it!

Goat Karahi might be my new favourite dish! We ordered goat karahi, two chicken karahis (one boneless), a delicious beef kebab and a beef behari, a garlic naan, and a family sized naan! The goat Karahi stole the show in my opinion. Perfectly seasoned, delicious, and mouth watering. What more can you ask for? The restaurant environment was nicely decorated and the perfect atmosphere for a friend / family gathering. The service was 10/10. We all got our food pretty quickly and it was worth it!

Very tender goat karahi with good flavors, but did not pack quite the punch I was hoping for. It was also very expensive. The garlic naan was outstanding

I must've passed by at least five times before I FINALLY made it to the restaurant. Every time I drop by or I call, there's a minimum wait time of 1 hour. So I decided to drop by during lunch time instead. I wasn't disappointed because for one; I got an amazing lunch offer (ONLY $13.55 including tax for a chicken Kabob platter with daal, rice, naan & salad!) and two; the food was AMAZING. By the taste you can already tell that it's cooked fresh. I also enjoy how the food is not too spicy (for "brown" food). It's just right. The platter is big enough to share with someone else or if you're feeling really hungry, you might finish it by yourself. I'm looking forward to eating here again. One interesting aspect of the whole experience is that I found the rice to taste very different, almost a little sweet taste to it - but the flavour was perfect.

Typical wait time is min 1 hour but only because their menu is made fresh to order, the whole visit is over 2 hours in total which delays everyone else's wait time. No reservations and you can't order in advance. Got some family and garlic naan to eat with our 3 different karahis: kboys chicken, namak mandi and makhani behari boti. The beef was my favourite, next to chicken. The naans were just perfect. Overall a pleasant experience.

Food is really good!! Cooked with selected spices and aromatic ingredients, and almost to near perfection. Served interestingly in hot karahi (thus the name Karahi Boys). Makahani Behari Boti Karahi (beef cooked with spices, gravis really delicious, recommend. Good ambiance with nicely decorated interior. Service is good to average. Convenient parking.

My review is based on my takeout experience which was very different from dine-in experience 2 years ago. I ordered Kboys Karahi Chicken, Palak Paneer and garlic naan. All 3 disappointed. Chicken had bones in it. I almost broke a tooth. Who the hell does bone-in chicken by default? You go to a restaurant to enjoy boneless chicken. Too much oil in chicken. $24 for something that normally costs $16 or $17 is also not contributing to a great takeout experience. Otherwise, it was quite tasty but excess oil spoiled the dish for me. Palak paneer was way too oily and pasty, which is an indicator of low quality. I was genuinely disappointed in palak paneer. I've been to way too many Indian restaurants to tell low-quality Indian food from high-quality Indian food. Garlic naan was more like puffy pita than a proper garlic naan. Overall, I spent $47 on something that was low-quality, way too oily and greasy. Karahi Boys, you've lost a customer.

Daal
Giang N.

Good food and ambiance. The Daal was delicious with a subtle kick of spice and paired perfectly with naan. The Palak Paneer could have been less salty, but I still enjoyed it. They have transparent dividers between tables for COVID so that's a plus!

' Lord of the wings ' You've heard it right as that's the only adjective I can give to the Chatpata Jumbo Fried Chicken Wings by @karahiboys. I had a chance to taste some of these badass wings that were the latest addition to their menu and, it blew my mind. For a fried chicken lover, these wings served with their garlic honey mustard sauce had the perfect crunch and aroma of southern flavours that were infused with priceless satisfaction. If you love eating some karahi - chicken, lamb, ground beef, even paneer (or cheese curd), this is your go-to place in Mississauga and Toronto. Karahi Boys, Mississauga

We had great experience came in 530 without reservation were seated very friendly staff gave us good recommendations, ordered Lahori Fish Karahi Chicken, Karahi Bihari Kabab, plater mix, naan's and tandoori roti, it was delicious

It came highly recommended from a very good friend. We went in for a late evening dinner on Christmas dinner. It is a large space with lots of tables and beautifully decorated. The place was busy and noisy but the servers are very cautious and on their feet. The menu is limited to two pages, we settled for a chicken karahi, butter Naan and a garlic naan. The chicken karahi was average and have had better. The garlic naan was definitely the savior of the day. The karahi was $22 + taxes for about 500gms enough for two people. You can take your chance but there are other places doing a much better karahi.

The food is ok, but very overpriced for such small portions. Probably wont be back, very average.

I have always been a fan of Indian food but I have never tried authentic Pakistani food. After hearing some good reviews about Karahi Boys I decided to give them a try at the Mississauga location. The moment I walked in I loved the interior it was well decorated and appealing. I ordered their karahi chicken specialty with naan and a biriyani. The first bite of naan and the chicken made me fall in love with Pakistani food. Since then I have gone to this restaurant twice within 2 weeks time. And I am sure I will be going ba k a few more times. This place is good and I love their food and service.

Well, this is the place to go and while they're well known for their BBQ (or so I've heard), majority of their menu is spicy. However, I was excited to find that some items, such as the chicken tikka and malai boti are mild/not too spicy so I often for those. I didn't try any of the meat items, since I don't really eat meat, but everything I've ordered from their chicken was amazing! I loved the malai boti, chicken malai leg and the chicken tikka. We ordered some karachi paratha on the side and decided to make our own paratha roll at home with the chicken and it turned out very very good. I would come back here in the future should I need or crave good chicken and BBQ. The seasoning and spices used were great. Their tea was also pretty good and portion was quite generous. I gave a 4/5 as I also tried their peshawari ice cream, but was not a fan of it. The ice cream used was not creamy enough and it was topped with rooh afza, making it a little sweeter and the ice cream was also quite small considering it was $5. Stick to what they're known for and that is their kababs and BBQ. Don't forget to grab some tea as well. Forgot to grab a pic of our order.

TLDR version: horrible dining experience, decent tasting food…read more Let me start by saying that the quality of the food here was great, and very tasty. Unfortunately though, there's more to a dining experience than just the taste of the food and that's where this restaurant falls absolutely flat on their face. Horrible dining experience. First off, the waitresses were completely lifeless, mumbled everything, didn't even have the care to look in your direction while speaking, let alone look at you. Asking things like "what's popular here" didn't really yield any response from them either. In addition to that, the wait time of the food was a bit too much. We were one of only two small tables in the restaurant at the time and had to wait 40 minutes for food that usually wouldn't take anywhere near that long. The quantity itself was a bit on the low side as well. And finally to wrap it up, on a hot summer night, it was boiling inside due to their AC not working. So we had to eat our food literally dripping in sweat.

Located in a small plaza right next to Szechuan Noodle Bowl…read more Loved the interior as it looked newly renovated, clean lines, with some ethnic touches! The ceramic tiled table tops had an Islamic geometric pattern on them and chairs had a tribal weave. What needed work was the following: - Menu is really simple, with NO PRICES were posted. Really? Do customers hafta ask how much each item costs? - Although festive in design, paper plates and sauces presented in takeout containers were used for dine-in - Some dishes needed improvement: 1 kebob was overcooked to the point of tasting bitter, both goat/fish dish were oily Keema naan was good. Fried fish was flavourful and moist, but needy to be drained of oil before being served. Although I do appreciate a succinct menu, it was perhaps a bit too simple. There was no rice and maybe 1 veg dish which I found weird. No Kashmiri Chai available, although it appears on the menu. Again, I don't like that there aren't any prices posted. Service was ok, but it was a younger guy doing everything from taking orders to serving. Luckily, it wasn't very busy when I ordered. Food is ok, I wouldn't be opposed to going back, there is potential, but some things need improvement.

It's terrible for the environment, and it made the drinking water taste bad. I also saw hot tea being served in disposable paper cups. Please, please, please, get proper, re-useable cups to serve your guests with. We had proper plates and cutlery, I don't understand why they gave us styrofoam cups. This was a dark smear on an otherwise great dining experience. Now, on to the food portion of the review. So. Delicious. I am, by no means, an expert on Pakistani food, but I found the flavours of the goat and chicken karahi amazing! We ordered a pound of each, and they came out sizzling in iron skillets. The medium was spicy, so if you're not a spicy person, get it mild. My only gripes were that the goat had quite a bit of bone in it (maybe we got a bad cut), and the chicken was a tad bit dry, but everything was still so very tasty. We got the sesame butter naan to go with our karahi and it was quite possibly some of the best naan I've ever had. Warm and chewy on the inside, a little bit crisp on the outside, and great flavour from the toasted sesame. Mopped up the sauce from the karahi with the naan... I'm still dreaming about it. The interior of the restaurant is quite small, maybe 5-6 tables that sit 2-4. But it's brightly lit, clean, cozy, and has great Pakistani decor. The lady serving us was very sweet and helpful in helping us decide what to eat.

The papri chaat was so close to ones you get in Pakistan I really enjoyed it. Roomali roti which is paper thin roti was such a treat I probably ate it after a decade not many places make it here. Definitely full points. But the kulcha was dry and got hard very quick I wish they made it more soft with a touch of butter. Overall the flavors are good minus the spicy level on the qeema. I do want to try their fish, bunkabab and breakfast halwa puri. The service was really good. The girl behind the counter was super friendly and courteous. The place was neat and clean. And the desi songs playing were just epic. Great selection staff. Price point isn't bad at all. All this was $35 including a pop.
